[00:04:48] Button was a mushroom. Button was a little round grey mushroom who lived in a fridge, in a home just like yours or mine. Button resided in the bottom drawer of the fridge, where he lived contentedly with his fellow mushrooms and assorted vegetable friends. Life in the fridge was relaxing and slow-paced.
[00:05:14] However, it didn't quite suit Button's personality. Button was a very excitable and inquisitive little fungus who longed to learn more about the world outside his refrigerator. Button had so much built-up energy that he loved to bounce and boing around the fridge drawer, propelling himself from wall to wall like a ping-pong ball.
[00:05:44] He had so much fun doing it, but it sometimes made the other vegetables living in his drawer dizzy as they watched him bounce around. They were used to resting peacefully all day, every day. Often, Button the mushroom would pop out of his drawer and jump up the shelves of the fridge to chat with the pints of milk and slabs of butter.
[00:06:14] He wanted to learn as much as he could about everything, including getting to know the other items that lived in his fridge. Button was brimming with curiosity and he found everything a wonder, much to the delight of his fridge friends. Button was different to the other vegetables who were perfectly happy to spend their lives within the same four walls.
[00:06:41] He had always been full of questions and boundless energy that couldn't be contained by the fridge. When he needed to rest, Button the mushroom liked to daydream about what was outside their chilly home. Every day when the fridge door opened, Button would gaze out through the clear plastic drawer, across the kitchen and out of the window to the outside world.
[00:07:11] He longed to explore and discover everything there was to be found outside his fridge. He had heard rumours of vegetables like himself, who lived in the fields beyond the bottom of the garden. Rumour had it that there was a community of wild mushrooms growing freely in the fields and forests outside.
[00:07:36] It sounded like perfection to Button the mushroom, and he dreamt of joining the community of wild mushrooms that lived beyond the garden hedge. He imagined the parties he would have, the endless earth he would explore, and the fascinating creatures he would meet and befriend.
[00:08:00] Over time, Button's daydreams grew and grew, until they became more than dreams, but a plan. A plan to join the wild mushrooms who lived beyond the garden. The problem was that it was a long journey to the bottom of the garden, and Button would need to overcome many obstacles along the way to reach his destination.
[00:08:29] For a little mushroom who had never ventured outside his fridge, most would think the journey impossible. But to Button, it seemed like a thrilling adventure.
