Speaker 1: his intentions a secret, he compiled sheet upon sheet of

Speaker 1: different colored cardboard, an array of colorful envelopes, dozens of pens, pencils, crayons,

Speaker 1: and paints, as well as dashings of glue, glitter, sequins,

Speaker 1: and tissue paper. By the time he was done, he

Speaker 1: had quite the collection of crafty concoctions, and he couldn't

Speaker 1: wait to put them to good use. On Valentine's Day morning,

Speaker 1: Fritz awoke on his comfortable lily pad and sang as

Speaker 1: he always did, but this morning he sang a beautiful

Speaker 1: romantic aria to gently wake up his fellow froggy friends

Speaker 1: around the pond. Fritz was quite a good singer, and

Speaker 1: to one of Fritz's songs, but his song today was

Speaker 1: extra special. His friend Finch the frog cooled across to

Speaker 1: him from his own lily pad. That was rather lovely. Fritz,

Speaker 1: chuckled and replied, because it's Valentine's Day. Of course, you

Speaker 1: have to sing romantic songs on Valentine's Day. Finch the

Speaker 1: Frog confessed to he had forgotten that it was Valentine's Day.

Speaker 1: He didn't tend to celebrate it. He thought it was

Speaker 1: a bit mushy. Valentine's Day isn't mushy, Fritz advocated. All

Speaker 1: it is is just a day to tell people that

Speaker 1: you like them. There's nothing mushy about that. It's just

Speaker 1: showing kindness. Finch folded his thin, froggy arms and pouted.

Speaker 1: He wasn't convinced, so Fritz decided to recite him a poem.

Speaker 1: The Little Frog rhymed, Roses are red a, violets are

Speaker 1: blue lilies. Smells sweet, and so do you. Finch couldn't
