Speaker 1: Hi, and welcome back to Coco Sleep. I hope you're

Speaker 1: Coco Sleep on your favorite podcast app to never miss

00:00:28

Speaker 1: an episode. Hmmm, have you ever woken up in the

00:00:33

Speaker 1: morning convinced that you were just somewhere else? Perhaps eating

00:00:38

Speaker 1: cake on a beach, or having a bubble bath in

00:00:41

Speaker 1: a shopping center, maybe flying with the birds, or chatting

00:00:45

Speaker 1: to your favorite celebrity. It can be very strange waking

00:00:50

Speaker 1: up from a dream, but rather wonderful too, because you

00:00:53

Speaker 1: feel like you've been somewhere new and exciting. Tonight, we're

00:00:58

Speaker 1: going to meet two very special dogs. You've actually met

00:01:02

Speaker 1: them before. I wonder if you can remember their names,

00:01:06

Speaker 1: a Golden Retriever and his very best friend, a cocker Spaniel. Yes,

00:01:12

Speaker 1: this is a tale all about Hector and Sunny. One day,

00:01:18

Speaker 1: the two friends magically go into a special land where

00:01:22

Speaker 1: animals dreams come true. Let's hear about the amazing day

00:01:28

Speaker 1: they have in dreamland and how Hector and Sunny's dreams

00:01:32

Speaker 1: come true too. This is Hector and Sunny in Dreamland

00:01:38

Speaker 1: by Gillian Rogerson. On a warm morning in June, a

00:01:50

Speaker 1: smiling Golden Retriever by the name of Hector jogged into

00:01:54

Speaker 1: the local park with his owner. Being a very friendly dog,

00:02:00

Speaker 1: Hector said hello to every single dog he met along

00:02:03

Speaker 1: his journey. The park was busy that day and there

00:02:07

Speaker 1: were a lot of dogs to say hello to. Hector

00:02:10

Speaker 1: didn't mind at all, and his tail wagged NonStop as

00:02:14

Speaker 1: he joyfully greeted every dog like a friend. But even

00:02:19

Speaker 1: as he said hello to the dogs, he kept looking

00:02:22

Speaker 1: left and right across the park. He was searching for

00:02:27

Speaker 1: his best friend, Sonny. She came to the park every

00:02:31

Speaker 1: day just like he did, so where was she? She

00:02:35

Speaker 1: must be here, somewhere. Ah, There she was. A beautiful

00:02:41

Speaker 1: Cocker Spaniel with golden brown fur and blue eyes the

00:02:45

Speaker 1: color of the sky. Trotted towards Hector or barked out

00:02:49

Speaker 1: a happy hello. The dogs were thrilled to see each

00:02:53

Speaker 1: other and wagged their tails in delight. The dog owners

00:02:58

Speaker 1: said hello to each other and then took their dogs

00:03:01

Speaker 1: over to a bench at the side of the path.

00:03:04

Speaker 1: The owners sat down and let the dogs off their leads.

00:03:08

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny raced off across the field. They looked

00:03:13

Speaker 1: back now and again to make sure their owners were

00:03:15

Speaker 1: okay without them. The two dogs loved running around the

00:03:20

Speaker 1: park together. They loved the feel of the grass beneath

00:03:24

Speaker 1: their paws and the wind rushing through their fur. They

00:03:28

Speaker 1: adored joining in with people who were playing games such

00:03:32

Speaker 1: as football and frisbee. When Hector had been a puppy,

00:03:38

Speaker 1: he'd discovered he was particularly good at football and was

00:03:42

Speaker 1: brilliant at kicking the ball as far away as he could,

00:03:45

Speaker 1: sometimes into trees. Sonny was good at football too, but

00:03:51

Speaker 1: she was better at frisbee and loved jumping up high

00:03:55

Speaker 1: and catching a flying frisbee in her mouth. Once she

00:03:59

Speaker 1: caught it, she would run around the playing field as

00:04:02

Speaker 1: fast as she could before hiding the frisbee under a

00:04:05

Speaker 1: bush or under a bench. It was great fun. Of

00:04:09

Speaker 1: all the super things to do at the park, the

00:04:12

Speaker 1: dogs loved just loved chasing squirrels. The squirrels loved it too,

00:04:19

Speaker 1: and would often wave at Hector and Sonny before scampering away,

00:04:23

Speaker 1: expecting the dogs to chase after them. It was the

00:04:26

Speaker 1: best game of all That morning, as the two dogs

00:04:32

Speaker 1: ran around the playing field, they looked out for squirrels

00:04:35

Speaker 1: to chase. Hector spotted one and pointed it out to Sonny.

00:04:42

Speaker 1: Sonny frowned and said, that squirrel looks different to the

00:04:46

Speaker 1: other ones. He's got silver fur. Hector didn't care what

00:04:52

Speaker 1: color further squirrel had. All he wanted to do was

00:04:56

Speaker 1: chase it. He set off running af to the silver squirrel.

00:05:02

Speaker 1: The squirrel smiled at Hector and sprinted towards a large tree.

00:05:08

Speaker 1: Sonny ran after Hector and soon caught up with him.

00:05:12

Speaker 1: The squirrel looked over his shoulder and gave them a

00:05:16

Speaker 1: cheeky smile. You're never going to catch me, he said,

00:05:22

Speaker 1: we will, Hector called out. He sped up, so did Sonny.

00:05:29

Speaker 1: The two dogs were so busy chasing after the silver

00:05:33

Speaker 1: squirrel that they didn't notice they were getting closer and

00:05:37

Speaker 1: closer to the large tree ahead of them, until it

00:05:42

Speaker 1: was too late. Sonny spotted the tree first. Hector look

00:05:48

Speaker 1: out for the tree. The dogs were going too fast

00:05:51

Speaker 1: to slow down. They reached the tree and went right

00:05:57

Speaker 1: through it. Hector and Sonny entered a different world, a

00:06:04

Speaker 1: world full of magic and wonder. Hector didn't notice at

00:06:10

Speaker 1: first because he was too busy looking for the cheeky

00:06:13

Speaker 1: silver squirrel. Where did you go? Hector asked Sonny that

00:06:19

Speaker 1: squirrel must be here somewhere. Sonny wasn't listening. She was

00:06:25

Speaker 1: staring at the scene in front of them. Hector, look

00:06:32

Speaker 1: look at what? Hector asked. He saw Sonny looking at

00:06:37

Speaker 1: something ahead of them. He looked too. He said, Sonny,

00:06:45

Speaker 1: where have all these animals come from? And what are

00:06:48

Speaker 1: they doing in our park? Have they been in the

00:06:52

Speaker 1: park all this time? And we haven't noticed them before?

00:06:57

Speaker 1: Sonny shook her head. They've never been here before. She

00:07:03

Speaker 1: pointed to a group of gray elephants nearby, who was

00:07:08

Speaker 1: squirting water at each other and laughing. I would have

00:07:12

Speaker 1: noticed those elephants before. They're enormous. And look over there,

00:07:19

Speaker 1: there's a couple of lions playing tennis. Hmm. I didn't

00:07:23

Speaker 1: even know lions could play tennis, but I have only

00:07:27

Speaker 1: ever seen them on the television, so I'm not an

00:07:29

Speaker 1: expert on lions. Hector didn't know what to make of

00:07:35

Speaker 1: it all. It's like we're in a totally different park.

00:07:41

Speaker 1: You are, said a voice behind them. The dogs turned

00:07:47

Speaker 1: around and saw the silver squirrel standing there. He waved

00:07:52

Speaker 1: at them and said, Hi, welcome to Dreamland. The dogs

00:08:00

Speaker 1: gave him confused looks. The squirrel continued talking. Let me explain.

00:08:07

Speaker 1: First of all, my name is Sydney, and it's a

00:08:10

Speaker 1: pleasure to meet you two. I've seen you in the

00:08:13

Speaker 1: park many times, but I don't think you've noticed me before.

00:08:18

Speaker 1: Hector said they hadn't seen Sydney before because he would

00:08:22

Speaker 1: have remembered him. Hector remembered all the squirrels he chased.

00:08:29

Speaker 1: Sidney said, I've heard your owners call out your names,

00:08:33

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny. Is that right it is? Sonny replied.

00:08:40

Speaker 1: Please tell us about Dreamland and how we got here.

00:08:44

Speaker 1: Sydney explained the dogs had run through a magical tree

00:08:48

Speaker 1: that led to Dreamland. The tree had always been in

00:08:52

Speaker 1: the park, for the dogs had never run into it before.

00:08:57

Speaker 1: The squirrel knew they'd like Dreamland, so he made sure

00:09:01

Speaker 1: they chased him towards the enchanted tree. He said, this

00:09:07

Speaker 1: place is where animals live out their dreams. Animals get

00:09:12

Speaker 1: to this place in many ways, and for you two,

00:09:16

Speaker 1: it was that tree in the park. Dreamland is full

00:09:21

Speaker 1: of magic and anything you dream about can come true here.

00:09:26

Speaker 1: Anything Hector asked. Sydney said, yes, anything, What do you

00:09:36

Speaker 1: dream about, Hector? Hector sat down and a far away

00:09:42

Speaker 1: expression came into his eyes. I dream about huge puddles

00:09:51

Speaker 1: made of gravy, lots of puddles and lots of gravy.

00:09:57

Speaker 1: I put my face in the puddles and drink it

00:10:00

Speaker 1: all up. Yum, yum. He licked his lips and smiled.

00:10:07

Speaker 1: Sydney asked Sonny what she dreamed about. Lots of things.

00:10:13

Speaker 1: I dream about collecting sticks and making a really big

00:10:17

Speaker 1: house out of them, and inside the house, the furniture

00:10:21

Speaker 1: is made of sticks too. I dream about running round

00:10:25

Speaker 1: and round in circles and never running out of energy.

00:10:28

Speaker 1: But my best dream is about an adventure course for dogs.

00:10:34

Speaker 1: I went on once with my owner. There were se

00:10:37

Speaker 1: saws and climbing frames, tunnels to run through, and big

00:10:41

Speaker 1: tires to jump in and out of. I dream about

00:10:45

Speaker 1: that a lot. She sighed and smiled. Sydney nodded and

00:10:53

Speaker 1: said those were wonderful dreams and they could happen for

00:10:57

Speaker 1: the dogs in the magic Park. All the dogs had

00:11:01

Speaker 1: to do was believe in their dreams and then look

00:11:06

Speaker 1: out for them in the park. Hector was only half

00:11:10

Speaker 1: listening to Sydney because he was thinking about chasing squirrels again.

00:11:17

Speaker 1: He thought about chasing squirrels a lot. Hector asked Sydney

00:11:24

Speaker 1: if there were other squirrels in the Magic Park. There are,

00:11:29

Speaker 1: Sydney said, and they love being chased by dogs. If

00:11:35

Speaker 1: you look over there, you'll see some squirrels wearing racing shoes.

00:11:40

Speaker 1: They're warming up and getting ready to run around the park.

00:11:45

Speaker 1: If you ask them nicely, they'll let you chase after them.

00:11:50

Speaker 1: Hector couldn't believe his luck and wondered if he was

00:11:55

Speaker 1: actually having a dream right there and now. Sydney smiled

00:12:03

Speaker 1: at him. I know what you're thinking, Hector. Nope, you're

00:12:08

Speaker 1: not asleep. This is all real. It was lovely to

00:12:13

Speaker 1: meet you both, But I have somewhere to go, so

00:12:16

Speaker 1: I'll be off now. Why don't you explore the park

00:12:20

Speaker 1: and talk to some of the other animals, and don't

00:12:23

Speaker 1: forget to look out for your dreams. Sonny asked if

00:12:30

Speaker 1: their owners would be okay in the other park without them.

00:12:35

Speaker 1: Sydney explained time had frozen in the other park and

00:12:39

Speaker 1: their owners would still be in the same place when

00:12:43

Speaker 1: the dogs returned. How do we get back to the

00:12:48

Speaker 1: other park, Sonny asked. The silver squirrel told them to

00:12:55

Speaker 1: bark three times and they would return immediately. He said

00:13:00

Speaker 1: goodbye and scampered away. Sonny sat next to Hector and

00:13:07

Speaker 1: asked him what they should do first. Should they talk

00:13:12

Speaker 1: to the other animals or start searching for their dreams.

00:13:18

Speaker 1: We should say hello to everyone, Hector replied, that's the

00:13:22

Speaker 1: polite thing to do. I always say hello to every

00:13:26

Speaker 1: one I meet. Sonny nodded and said that was a

00:13:32

Speaker 1: good idea. The two dogs stood up and began to

00:13:37

Speaker 1: explore Dreamland. They walked towards a group of pink flamingoes

00:13:44

Speaker 1: who were standing in a circle next to a tree.

00:13:49

Speaker 1: The birds were wearing silver trousers and shirts covered in

00:13:54

Speaker 1: rainbow colored sequins. They were standing as still as statue

00:14:01

Speaker 1: and looked like they were waiting for something to happen.

00:14:06

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny said hello to the colorful flamingos and

00:14:11

Speaker 1: asked what they were doing. The nearest flamingo explained, we're

00:14:18

Speaker 1: waiting for the disco music to begin. We Flamingos love

00:14:25

Speaker 1: nothing better than dancing to disco tunes. We dream about

00:14:30

Speaker 1: it every night. When we found out about Dreamland and

00:14:35

Speaker 1: how to get here, we all decided our dream would

00:14:40

Speaker 1: be to disco dance all day and all night. And

00:14:45

Speaker 1: once the music begins, we're going to start moving. Sonny

00:14:52

Speaker 1: looked around and asked where the music would come from

00:14:57

Speaker 1: the tree. Of course, the flamingo replied, she's going to

00:15:02

Speaker 1: start singing to us soon. You can join in with

00:15:06

Speaker 1: our dancing if you want to. Hector and Sonny had

00:15:11

Speaker 1: never danced with flamingoes before, and they'd never heard a

00:15:16

Speaker 1: tree sing, so they decided to stay with the birds

00:15:21

Speaker 1: to see what would happen next. A second later, the

00:15:27

Speaker 1: tree began to sing. It was a joyful song, and

00:15:32

Speaker 1: as soon as the flamingoes heard it, they began to

00:15:36

Speaker 1: boogie and bop to the beat. The leaves on the

00:15:40

Speaker 1: tree swished back and forth, creating a happy rhythm to

00:15:45

Speaker 1: accompany the tree's words. Hector and Sonny couldn't help but

00:15:52

Speaker 1: join in with the dancing. They twirled and whirled in

00:15:56

Speaker 1: and out of the pink birds and around the singing tree.

00:16:02

Speaker 1: It was tremendous fun. The dogs danced for two more

00:16:07

Speaker 1: songs and then decided to move on and meet some

00:16:12

Speaker 1: more animals. They said goodbye to the flamingos and went

00:16:17

Speaker 1: on their way. They soon came to an ice skating

00:16:22

Speaker 1: rink that was in the shape of a star. Penguins

00:16:27

Speaker 1: dressed in wooly scarves, hats, and mittens were skating easily

00:16:33

Speaker 1: across the ice. The dogs said hello to the happy penguins.

00:16:41

Speaker 1: They didn't ask what their dream was, because the smiles

00:16:45

Speaker 1: on the penguins' faces clearly meant they were having a

00:16:50

Speaker 1: marvelous time on the ice and living out their dreams.

00:16:56

Speaker 1: A couple of penguins skated over to the dogs and

00:17:00

Speaker 1: asked if they wanted to join them on the ice.

00:17:04

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny said yes, but they weren't sure their

00:17:09

Speaker 1: paws would be okay on the frozen water. The penguins

00:17:15

Speaker 1: pointed to something behind the dogs. Hector and Sonny looked

00:17:21

Speaker 1: over their shoulders and saw some ice skating boots on

00:17:25

Speaker 1: the grass. The boots hadn't been there a second ago,

00:17:30

Speaker 1: and it seemed they had appeared like magic. The boots

00:17:36

Speaker 1: looked the perfect size for the dogs. With a bit

00:17:41

Speaker 1: of help from the penguins, the boots were placed on

00:17:44

Speaker 1: the dog's feet, and then off they went, skating across

00:17:50

Speaker 1: the ice. Hector and Sunny were a bit wobbly at first,

00:17:57

Speaker 1: but the kind penguins helped them and soon The happy

00:18:02

Speaker 1: dogs were skating easily around the rink. They even managed

00:18:08

Speaker 1: to perform pirouettes. After a while, the dogs decided to

00:18:15

Speaker 1: explore the magical park further. They said goodbye to the

00:18:21

Speaker 1: penguins and stepped off the ice and onto the grass.

00:18:26

Speaker 1: Their ice skating boots magically disappeared, and the dogs wiggled

00:18:31

Speaker 1: their toes into the soft grass. Hector and Sonny continued exploring.

00:18:42

Speaker 1: Hector sniffed the air and said, or think I can

00:18:47

Speaker 1: smell gravy? Can you smell it? Sonny. Sonny had a

00:18:53

Speaker 1: good sniff, but said she couldn't smell any gravy. The

00:18:59

Speaker 1: dogs came upon something very peculiar. Next. There was a

00:19:05

Speaker 1: huge bouncy castle right in the middle of a playing field.

00:19:12

Speaker 1: Cheerful shouts and laughter came from inside it. Hector and

00:19:19

Speaker 1: Sonny walked closer to the inflatable castle. They looked inside

00:19:26

Speaker 1: it and saw lots of chuckling kangaroos bouncing merrily. Some

00:19:35

Speaker 1: kangaroos were even leaping into the air and then turning somersaults.

00:19:42

Speaker 1: The dogs said hello to the kangaroos. The nearest kangaroos

00:19:47

Speaker 1: waved and invited the dogs in. Hector and Sonny didn't

00:19:54

Speaker 1: hesitate to join them. They leapt into the castle and

00:20:00

Speaker 1: began to bounce up and down. It was so much

00:20:05

Speaker 1: fun that the dogs laughed with joy. Hector and Sonny

00:20:11

Speaker 1: absolutely loved the bouncy castle and would have stayed there

00:20:17

Speaker 1: a lot longer, But Hector caught a whiff of gravy

00:20:22

Speaker 1: again and told Sonny he had to find out where

00:20:26

Speaker 1: it was coming from. You can stay here, Sonny. I

00:20:30

Speaker 1: don't want to spoil your fun, Sonny said, I always

00:20:38

Speaker 1: had the best fun when I'm with you, Hector. Let's

00:20:42

Speaker 1: go and find the gravy together. Hector and Sonny waved

00:20:48

Speaker 1: goodbye to the kangaroos and jumped off the bouncy castle.

00:20:55

Speaker 1: Using his amazing sense of smell, Hector lifted his nose

00:21:01

Speaker 1: and followed the delicious scent across the field. Sonny was

00:21:07

Speaker 1: right behind him. They soon came to something so spectacular

00:21:14

Speaker 1: it made the dog sit down in surprise. They could

00:21:19

Speaker 1: not believe what was in front of them. Hector could

00:21:24

Speaker 1: hardly speak. His voice was a whisper as he said, Sonny,

00:21:34

Speaker 1: does that look like a stream made out of gravy

00:21:41

Speaker 1: to you? Sonny nodded the dog slowly stood up and

00:21:49

Speaker 1: moved closer to the glorious, golden brown water that flowed

00:21:56

Speaker 1: slowly in front of them. The mouth watering scent of

00:22:02

Speaker 1: gravy drifted towards them, making their mouths water. Hector dipped

00:22:10

Speaker 1: his toes into the stream. It was pleasantly warm. He

00:22:17

Speaker 1: lowered his head and stuck his tongue into the liquid.

00:22:23

Speaker 1: It was gravy, thick, delicious gravy. He smiled happily. His

00:22:34

Speaker 1: dream had come true. Sonny took a sip of the

00:22:40

Speaker 1: gravy too. Yum, this is the best gravy I've ever tasted. Hector.

00:22:51

Speaker 1: I know you love running through puddles. This dream isn't

00:22:56

Speaker 1: deep at all. Do you want to run through it?

00:23:01

Speaker 1: Hector nodded happily, and then in a flash, he jumped

00:23:07

Speaker 1: into the gravy stream. He ran up and down the

00:23:13

Speaker 1: stream and covered himself in the delicious gravy. Every now

00:23:19

Speaker 1: and then he would lick some off his paws. It

00:23:25

Speaker 1: was scruntious. Sonny stayed at the side of the stream

00:23:31

Speaker 1: and watched her friend. Seeing how happy he was filled

00:23:37

Speaker 1: her heart with love, and she forgot about her own dream.

00:23:43

Speaker 1: But Hector hadn't forgotten about Sonny's dream. As he was

00:23:50

Speaker 1: running through the gravy stream for the tenth time, he

00:23:55

Speaker 1: looked over at Sonny and noticed something had magic appeared

00:24:01

Speaker 1: behind her. He took one last drink of the delicious

00:24:08

Speaker 1: liquid and then jumped out of the stream. He gave

00:24:14

Speaker 1: himself a good shake and sent gravy droplets flying through

00:24:20

Speaker 1: the air. Hector jogged over to Sonny and told her

00:24:28

Speaker 1: to turn around. Sonny did so, her mouth fell open

00:24:34

Speaker 1: in astonishment. Before them stood an amazing adventure course. Everything

00:24:46

Speaker 1: had been painted in bright colors, and each item was

00:24:50

Speaker 1: covered in glimmering gold glitter. The adventure course was more

00:24:57

Speaker 1: magnificent and Sonny had ever dreamed about. Hector and Sonny

00:25:04

Speaker 1: walked towards the course and stopped at a red sea saw.

00:25:11

Speaker 1: Hector stood to one side and told Sonny to go

00:25:15

Speaker 1: on it first. Sonny placed her paw on the see

00:25:20

Speaker 1: saw and grinned. Up she went, and then down she went.

00:25:27

Speaker 1: It was such great fun that she went on it

00:25:30

Speaker 1: five more times. Sonny ran on to the next part

00:25:36

Speaker 1: of the course. Hector ran up and down the seesaw

00:25:42

Speaker 1: and followed his friend. They ran through a green tunnel

00:25:47

Speaker 1: made of wood. Their paws trip trapped over its surface

00:25:52

Speaker 1: like a drum beat. They jumped over a purple fence

00:25:58

Speaker 1: with ease and grace. They leapt in and out of

00:26:04

Speaker 1: large orange tires, laughing cheerfully as they went. The dogs

00:26:11

Speaker 1: jumped through sparkling blue hoops and launched themselves over walls

00:26:18

Speaker 1: made of pink bricks just for the fun of it.

00:26:24

Speaker 1: Sonny ran round and round in circles until she fell

00:26:29

Speaker 1: to the grass in pure happiness. The friends played on

00:26:35

Speaker 1: the adventure course for a while longer, having the time

00:26:39

Speaker 1: of their lives. Just when they thought they couldn't have

00:26:44

Speaker 1: been any happier, a huge pile of twigs, sticks, and

00:26:52

Speaker 1: branches magically appeared at the side of the gravy stream.

00:26:57

Speaker 1: They had a wonderful time moving the pile from one

00:27:02

Speaker 1: side of the stream to the other. It was very satisfying.

00:27:08

Speaker 1: Before long, the dogs began to feel tired. Hector yawned first,

00:27:17

Speaker 1: and then Sunny yawned. They decided they should head back

00:27:22

Speaker 1: to their owners soon, but they didn't want to leave

00:27:26

Speaker 1: the magic park just yet. They wanted to see more

00:27:31

Speaker 1: animals before they went back. They left the gravy Stream

00:27:37

Speaker 1: and the adventure course behind. They had a feeling they'd

00:27:44

Speaker 1: be able to return to them again. One day, the

00:27:50

Speaker 1: sky was turning darker and the sun dipped towards the horizon.

00:27:57

Speaker 1: It was getting late. Hector and Sonny walked on and

00:28:03

Speaker 1: came to a couple of lamers who were wearing fleecy pajamas.

00:28:10

Speaker 1: The lamers yawned loudly, and so did the dogs. Hector

00:28:17

Speaker 1: asked what the lamers had been doing that day in

00:28:20

Speaker 1: the park. Lots of things, the smaller of the lamers said,

00:28:28

Speaker 1: playing and singing, jumping and dancing. But now we're ready

00:28:35

Speaker 1: for bed. I love getting into my cozy, warm bed

00:28:40

Speaker 1: and going to sleep. It's my favorite thing to do.

00:28:46

Speaker 1: I love sleeping so much. Did I even dream about

00:28:50

Speaker 1: sleeping when I'm asleep? He giggled. His giggle turned into

00:28:57

Speaker 1: a yawn. The dogs yawned too. A big, comfy bed

00:29:07

Speaker 1: floated down from the sky and landed in front of

00:29:11

Speaker 1: the animals. The lamas got into bed and snuggled down

00:29:17

Speaker 1: into it. They said good night to the dogs and

00:29:22

Speaker 1: closed their eyes. They were asleep in seconds. The bed

00:29:29

Speaker 1: looked so inviting that the dogs were almost tempted to

00:29:35

Speaker 1: climb into it too, but they wanted to see more

00:29:40

Speaker 1: animals and then go back to their owners. They carried

00:29:45

Speaker 1: on through the park and came across a dozen cute

00:29:50

Speaker 1: koalas snoozing peacefully in the boughs of a tree. Seeing

00:29:58

Speaker 1: their sleepy face made the dogs feel even more tired.

00:30:06

Speaker 1: They didn't want to wake the koalas, so they tiptoed

00:30:11

Speaker 1: past them. The sky turned even darker. Hector and Sunny

00:30:21

Speaker 1: blinked their eyes sleepily. All the animals in the Magical

00:30:27

Speaker 1: Park were tired too, and everyone was getting ready for bed.

00:30:35

Speaker 1: Tired tigers were brushing their teeth. Sleepy slots were washing

00:30:42

Speaker 1: their faces. Baby animals were listening to bedtime stories being

00:30:50

Speaker 1: told to them by their parents. Hector and Sunny said

00:30:56

Speaker 1: good night to every animals and wished them a good

00:31:03

Speaker 1: night's sleep. The tired dogs could not stop yawning. It's

00:31:12

Speaker 1: time we went back to our owners, Sonny said sleepily.

00:31:19

Speaker 1: Hector agreed. They moved away from the other animals and

00:31:26

Speaker 1: then barked quietly three times, and just like that, they

00:31:35

Speaker 1: were back in the normal park, standing in front of

00:31:40

Speaker 1: the large tree they had run through earlier. The sun

00:31:47

Speaker 1: was shining brightly, and their owners were still sitting on

00:31:53

Speaker 1: a bench and chatting. Hector and Sunny walked slowly over

00:32:00

Speaker 1: to their owners and flopped at their feet. They yawned.

00:32:09

Speaker 1: Their owners gave the dogs a confused look and wondered

00:32:14

Speaker 1: why they were so tired. They shrugged. Their beloved dogs

00:32:22

Speaker 1: were a mystery to them. Sometimes the owners carried on chatting.

00:32:30

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny smiled happily at each other. Hector said,

00:32:39

Speaker 1: I wonder if something magical will happen to us the

00:32:43

Speaker 1: next time we come to the park. I think it will.

00:32:50

Speaker 1: What do you think, Sonny. Sonny didn't answer because she

00:32:57

Speaker 1: was already fast asleep. Hector fell asleep too. The two

00:33:07

Speaker 1: dogs dreamed about the wonderful day they'd had and how

00:33:14

Speaker 1: their dreams had come true in the most magical of ways.
