Speaker 1: warm hearted Cocker Spaniel called Sonny, who happened to be

Speaker 1: his best friend. Hector and Sonny's owners had been eating

Speaker 1: fish and chips on a park bench, and Hector and

Speaker 1: Sonny had been happy to snaffle a chip or two.

Speaker 1: It was the perfect day. There was not a cloud

Speaker 1: in the sky. In fact, there was nothing in the

Speaker 1: sky at all, just calm, endless blue. That is until

Speaker 1: a little plane came trundling over the tree tops. It

Speaker 1: was a tiny little thing that probably only seated one

Speaker 1: or two, and it was zooming up up up into

Speaker 1: the air. There it soared for a while, doing loop

Speaker 1: de loops every once in a while. The two dogs

Speaker 1: laid on their backs and looked up their noses at

Speaker 1: it high in the sky. That looks fun, isn't it,

Speaker 1: Hector Sonny said. Do you think we could fly a

Speaker 1: plane one day? Hector agreed that the plane looked whimsical

Speaker 1: and carefree up there, with nothing to do but say

Speaker 1: hello to the passing birds. But no, dogs can't fly planes,

Speaker 1: Hector explained. Our paws are too big to push the buttons,

Speaker 1: and our legs wouldn't reach the pedals. It's a shame

Speaker 1: I would look dashing in a pilot hat. Sonny giggled.

Speaker 1: I guess we'll just wait until they make dog planes, then,

Speaker 1: Sonny said, or until dogs grow wings, then we could

Speaker 1: fly through the air like birds. Hector smiled, imagining himself

Speaker 1: pilot hat. In a few moments, he realized that the

Speaker 1: plane had stopped its loop the loops in the sky,

Speaker 1: and the leaves had stopped waving lazily in the light breeze,

Speaker 1: and their owner's chattering had stopped too. Hector Sonny said,

Speaker 1: with a sparkle in her eyes. I think time has stopped.

Speaker 1: You know what that means, don't you. I think it's

Speaker 1: time for an adventure. Hector sniffed the air. You're right, Sonny,

Speaker 1: he said. I couldn't smell magic that moment. The trees

Speaker 1: rustled once more as a tiny silver plane brushed through

Speaker 1: the treetops towards them. Stood on its nose was a

Speaker 1: fury little creature in a cap and flying goggles. It

Speaker 1: was Sydney the silver Squirrel, ready to send them on

Speaker 1: their next adventure. The plane landed neatly on the grass,

Speaker 1: and Sydney hopped off with a flourish. I heard a

Speaker 1: whisper on the breeze that my favorite puppy pals might

Speaker 1: want some flying lessons, he said. Hector wagged his tail

Speaker 1: with excitement, and Sonny did a little tap dance. You'll

Speaker 1: head and chuckled, answering that no, Sydney wouldn't be teaching
