As Hector and Sonny walked away from the concert, Hector said, it does feel like a magical evening, doesn't It as if something really wonderful is going to happen soon. Sonny smiled at her best friend, Hector. Are you getting one of your feedings again? Are we about to go on another magical adventure? Hector's fury brow creased a little. He said, I'm not sure I can feel magic in the air, but it's a different kind of magic this time, and I'm not sure why. Sonny sniffed the air and said, I think I can sense something too. She chuckled softly. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. They continued walking along the streets of leeds. The sun was slowly setting, painting the day with delicate hues of orange, pink, and purple, and casting its golden glow across the beautiful buildings of the city. The dogs and their owners walked by the town Hall. The dogs looked at the tall columns of the building and the grand steps that led to a large door. They noticed some stone lions resting on bases on either side of the steps, two on one side and two on the other. Hector said to Sonny, those stone lions look like they might come to life at any moment. Sonny smiled and said, you are so funny, Hector. Stone lions don't come to life. Just then, chimes sounded out from the elegant clock tower of the town hall. The bell in the tower chimed over and over again. Hector's nose twitched. He said, Sonny, something peculiar is happening. I couldn't feel it in my fur. Before he could say another word, the world around them froze in time, and their owners became as still as statues. The four stone lions twinkled brightly, and then, to the dog's astonishment, they came to life. They left off their stone bases and had a long, satisfying stretch. Hector and Sonny were so surprised that all they could do was stand and stare at the lions. The Stone Lions padded down the steps and had another long stretch. One of them said it was a lovely evening for stroll around the city. Sonny couldn't help herself from saying, do you do that every night? The nearest Stone Lion jumped in surprise, looked left and right, and asked, oh. Said that. Sonny waved her paw. It was me, sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. You couln't see us, the lion asked. Sonny nodded, I couldn't see you too. Hector waved his paw.
