Speaker 1: special royal celebration. But before I can tell you, let's

00:01:17

Speaker 1: who were about to join again today. So we're joining

00:01:21

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny on a very special trip to London

00:01:25

Speaker 1: with their owners on the day of the coronation of

00:01:29

Speaker 1: King Charles the Third. Inevitably, the dogs get swept up

00:01:34

Speaker 1: in the excitement of the day and wonder if they

00:01:37

Speaker 1: will be lucky enough to meet the King and perhaps

00:01:40

Speaker 1: even talk to him. Let's join them and hear how

00:01:44

Speaker 1: their day turns into the most magical of times. But first,

00:01:50

Speaker 1: lie back in bed and snuggle down. Close your eyes

00:01:56

Speaker 1: and imagine a beautiful, big park in the sunshine. All

00:02:02

Speaker 1: around are the colors red, white and blue on flags

00:02:07

Speaker 1: people are waving, on bunting tied onto railings, gates, on

00:02:12

Speaker 1: picnic blankets even, and on the clothes people are wearing.

00:02:17

Speaker 1: We're in London and this is Hector and Sunny Meet

00:02:23

Speaker 1: the King. By Jillian Rogerson. It was very early on

00:02:35

Speaker 1: a sunny day in May and two dogs were walking

00:02:38

Speaker 1: through a beautiful park in London with their owners. The

00:02:42

Speaker 1: dogs were called Hector and Sunny, and they were the

00:02:47

Speaker 1: very best of friends. They hadn't been to London before

00:02:51

Speaker 1: and were very excited about exploring the city. As the

00:02:55

Speaker 1: group walked along, Hector said to Sunny, park is enormous,

00:03:03

Speaker 1: much bigger than our one back at home. For so

00:03:07

Speaker 1: much to see and do here. Sonny nodded, I agree,

00:03:13

Speaker 1: and the city is much bigger than our town back home.

00:03:18

Speaker 1: I love having days out with our owners don't you.

00:03:23

Speaker 1: I wonder why they've brought us to London though. Do

00:03:27

Speaker 1: you think there's something special going on today? Hector looked

00:03:33

Speaker 1: left and right and said, hmm, there is definitely something

00:03:41

Speaker 1: going on. The humans are very happy and they're wearing

00:03:46

Speaker 1: their holiday clothes. Some of them have brought picnic hampers

00:03:51

Speaker 1: into the park and sitting on blankets. A dapper looking

00:03:58

Speaker 1: Daxon walk towards to the dogs. He smiled at them

00:04:02

Speaker 1: and said, hello, there, you must be here for the

00:04:08

Speaker 1: coronation celebrations. I am too. My owner is very excited

00:04:16

Speaker 1: and she was awake even before the sun rose in

00:04:20

Speaker 1: the sky. Hector and Sonny stopped walking and gave the

00:04:26

Speaker 1: Daxon their full attention. They asked what a coronation was.

00:04:34

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny's owners stopped to talk to the owner

00:04:38

Speaker 1: of the dacent The d accent explained, there's a man

00:04:45

Speaker 1: called King Charles the Third who lives in a palace

00:04:49

Speaker 1: not far away. Today is a special day for him

00:04:54

Speaker 1: and he will get to wear a really special crown.

00:05:00

Speaker 1: His wife will get a crown too. It will happen

00:05:04

Speaker 1: inside a lovely building called west Minster Abbey, and it'll

00:05:10

Speaker 1: be shown on lots of huge screens around London and

00:05:16

Speaker 1: around the world as well. There are some screens in

00:05:21

Speaker 1: this park and that's where I'm going now with my owner.

00:05:26

Speaker 1: We want to find the perfect place where we can

00:05:29

Speaker 1: watch the coronation. Sonny was a curious dog, and she

00:05:35

Speaker 1: asked the Daxond more about King Charles. The Daxon answered

00:05:41

Speaker 1: as many questions as he could, but his owner was

00:05:45

Speaker 1: keen to find somewhere to sit, so he said farewell

00:05:49

Speaker 1: to Hector and Sonny and added, I hope you get

00:05:53

Speaker 1: to see the King on a screen somewhere. Hector said

00:05:59

Speaker 1: to Sonny, I know we've only just heard about the King,

00:06:04

Speaker 1: but I really hope we get to see him. He

00:06:09

Speaker 1: grinned what if we got to meet him? To what

00:06:16

Speaker 1: if we got to talk to him? Wouldn't that be amazing?

00:06:24

Speaker 1: Sonny said it would be utterly amazing. Then she noticed

00:06:30

Speaker 1: a familiar look in Hector's eyes and said, Hector, are

00:06:37

Speaker 1: you getting one of your feelings? Will we be going

00:06:42

Speaker 1: on a magical adventure soon? Hector's look turned thoughtful and

00:06:49

Speaker 1: he said, I think there is an adventure ahead of us,

00:06:56

Speaker 1: but I'm not sure if it's a mad jock or

00:07:00

Speaker 1: one yet, but I do know it will be a

00:07:03

Speaker 1: special adventure. They continued strolling through the park and noticed

00:07:11

Speaker 1: more happy people setting up chairs and blankets on the grass.

00:07:16

Speaker 1: Everyone was in high spirits and the sound of happy

00:07:20

Speaker 1: chatter filled the air. Hector and Sonny got to meet

00:07:25

Speaker 1: many other dogs as they walked on through the park,

00:07:29

Speaker 1: and they said hello to them. The other dogs were

00:07:33

Speaker 1: very excited about the coronation, and their tails wagged enthusiastically

00:07:38

Speaker 1: about the upcoming event. Their joy washed over Hector and

00:07:44

Speaker 1: Sonny and filled them with happiness too. Hector said, Sonny,

00:07:53

Speaker 1: I think there is magic in the air today, but

00:07:58

Speaker 1: it's a different kind of magic, one that's made from joy.

00:08:04

Speaker 1: There's so much of it that I feel I could

00:08:09

Speaker 1: reach out and catch some of that magic in my

00:08:13

Speaker 1: poor He swiped his pow in the air and pretended

00:08:19

Speaker 1: to catch some magic in it. Sonny chuckled, Hector, you

00:08:26

Speaker 1: are so funny sometimes. The group walked on and soon

00:08:33

Speaker 1: reached the exit of the park. They left the park

00:08:37

Speaker 1: and walked along the busy streets of London. Fluttering flags

00:08:43

Speaker 1: and colorful bunting adorned lampposts and shop windows. Trees were

00:08:49

Speaker 1: festooned with red blue and white ribbons and balloons bobbed

00:08:54

Speaker 1: on strings tied around their branches. Light, laugh and happy

00:09:01

Speaker 1: chatter came from all directions as people walked along looking

00:09:07

Speaker 1: for the ideal place to enjoy the festivities. The sun

00:09:12

Speaker 1: shone down warmly and there wasn't a single cloud in

00:09:17

Speaker 1: the beautiful blue sky. It was the most perfect of days.

00:09:25

Speaker 1: The dogs and their owners continued walking along the streets

00:09:29

Speaker 1: and saw a group of street performers on a corner

00:09:33

Speaker 1: who were entertaining the crowd with their joyful music. The

00:09:37

Speaker 1: watching crowd jigged from side to side. Hector and Sonny

00:09:44

Speaker 1: couldn't resist having a little jig too. They watched the

00:09:49

Speaker 1: performers for a few minutes and then carried on through

00:09:53

Speaker 1: the colorful streets. The dog's owners seemed to be heading

00:09:58

Speaker 1: somewhere in particular, and Sonny said, I wonder where we're going.

00:10:05

Speaker 1: Hector replied, I think our owners are looking for the

00:10:12

Speaker 1: right place to watch the coronation. I hope they'll find

00:10:17

Speaker 1: somewhere soon. I don't want to miss anything. To Hector's relief,

00:10:25

Speaker 1: their owners brought their dogs to a stop outside a huge,

00:10:29

Speaker 1: majestic building. There were a lot of people gathered in

00:10:33

Speaker 1: front of it, but there was a special area that

00:10:36

Speaker 1: was just for dog owners, and it had lots of

00:10:40

Speaker 1: full water bowls on the ground, along with some soft

00:10:44

Speaker 1: dog beds in case any tired canines needed a rest.

00:10:50

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny settled into the area, had a drink

00:10:54

Speaker 1: of cool water, and then began to chat with the

00:10:58

Speaker 1: other dogs around them. They soon discovered that the building

00:11:03

Speaker 1: behind them was Westminster Abbey, the very place where King

00:11:08

Speaker 1: Charles would receive his crown. Hector and Sonny shared an

00:11:14

Speaker 1: excited look and their eyes twinkled with joyful anticipation. Hector said,

00:11:22

Speaker 1: what an amazing time we're having, Sonny. I don't think

00:11:28

Speaker 1: this day can get any better. The dogs continued to

00:11:34

Speaker 1: chat with the other dogs, and their owners talked with

00:11:37

Speaker 1: the other owners too. A few minutes later, a giant

00:11:42

Speaker 1: screen near the dog area flickered to life, and the

00:11:46

Speaker 1: crowd got their first view of the interior of Westminster Abbey,

00:11:53

Speaker 1: with its stunning stained glass windows, polished pews, and vases

00:11:59

Speaker 1: overflowed with spectacular flowers. The dogs and their owners watched

00:12:05

Speaker 1: the screen intently, their eyes wide with wonder as they

00:12:11

Speaker 1: took in every detail of the amazing building. Hector and

00:12:18

Speaker 1: Sunny soon realized that nothing was happening inside the abbey,

00:12:24

Speaker 1: and so began to look around them again. They wanted

00:12:28

Speaker 1: to remember every detail of the historic day. Sonny moved

00:12:36

Speaker 1: closer to Hector and whispered, Hector, there are some unusual

00:12:44

Speaker 1: looking dogs over there doing something peculiar. Hector whispered back,

00:12:54

Speaker 1: what do you mean by unusual looking? And what do

00:12:59

Speaker 1: you mean by peculiar? Have a look for yourself and

00:13:06

Speaker 1: tell me what you think. Sonny replied, she told Hector

00:13:11

Speaker 1: where to look. Hector looked at where Sonny had indicated.

00:13:17

Speaker 1: He saw two Jack Russell terriers weaving in and out

00:13:23

Speaker 1: of people's legs. They were sniffing the ground as though

00:13:27

Speaker 1: searching for something. The dogs were wearing blue coats trimmed

00:13:32

Speaker 1: with gold braids and had little golden blue hats on

00:13:36

Speaker 1: their heads with holes for their ears to flop through.

00:13:41

Speaker 1: Hector looked back at Sonny and said they seemed to

00:13:46

Speaker 1: be looking for something. What do you think they've lost?

00:13:52

Speaker 1: Sonny said she didn't know, but hoped it wasn't anything

00:13:55

Speaker 1: too important. The dogs in blue jackets came closer, and

00:14:02

Speaker 1: when they began to sniff the ground near Hector and Sonny.

00:14:06

Speaker 1: Sonny couldn't stop herself from politely asking if they were

00:14:11

Speaker 1: looking for something. The dogs looked left and right and

00:14:17

Speaker 1: then asked Hector and Sonny to lower their heads. Hector

00:14:23

Speaker 1: and Sonny did so, and in a quiet voice, one

00:14:27

Speaker 1: of the dogs said, we work for the Royal family.

00:14:33

Speaker 1: I'm Robert and this is my colleague Rita. Something very

00:14:39

Speaker 1: valuable was gone missing from the King's Crown and we're

00:14:43

Speaker 1: trying to find it. Hector and Sonny's eyes widened, and

00:14:50

Speaker 1: they asked if they could help the Royal dogs look

00:14:53

Speaker 1: for the missing item. Hector said, we once had drawn

00:15:00

Speaker 1: as private detectives and we found a lot of missing items. Well,

00:15:07

Speaker 1: it was Sonny here who found them. She's amazing. Sonny

00:15:14

Speaker 1: smiled shyly and said Hector is just as good at

00:15:20

Speaker 1: finding things too. Robert and Rita smiled at Hector and

00:15:27

Speaker 1: Sonny and said they could do with all the help

00:15:30

Speaker 1: they could get, especially from experienced detectives like Hector and Sonny.

00:15:38

Speaker 1: Rita asked if Hector and Sonny could go into Westminster

00:15:42

Speaker 1: Abbey with them so that they could explain more about

00:15:46

Speaker 1: the missing item. Hector said, we would love to, but

00:15:52

Speaker 1: we can't leave our owners. They would worry about us.

00:15:57

Speaker 1: Sonny nodded and added, we have left them before when

00:16:03

Speaker 1: we've been on in magical adventures. But time always becomes

00:16:07

Speaker 1: frozen when we go on adventures and our owners aren't

00:16:11

Speaker 1: aware that we've left them. Robert and Rita were amazed

00:16:17

Speaker 1: by the mention of magical journeys and said they would

00:16:21

Speaker 1: like to hear more about them, but it would have

00:16:24

Speaker 1: to be at another time because they had to find

00:16:27

Speaker 1: the missing item as soon as possible. Rita said, could

00:16:33

Speaker 1: you freeze time now please? Hector said, We've never been

00:16:42

Speaker 1: the ones to freeze time before. We've always had help

00:16:46

Speaker 1: with that. He sighed softly, Perhaps, sir, we can't be

00:16:53

Speaker 1: of any use after all. Sonny's face was furrowed in concentration,

00:17:00

Speaker 1: and Hector knew she was having deep thoughts. After a

00:17:06

Speaker 1: few more moments of deep thinking, Sonny said to Hector,

00:17:12

Speaker 1: do you remember earlier saying that there was so much

00:17:18

Speaker 1: magic in the air you could catch it in your pause? Well, yes,

00:17:28

Speaker 1: Hector replied, but it wasn't actual magic, just a feeling

00:17:36

Speaker 1: of magic because everyone was so happy. Sonny smiled gently

00:17:43

Speaker 1: at her best friend. What if the feeling of magic

00:17:51

Speaker 1: is all that we need. What if we really believed

00:17:57

Speaker 1: there was magic in the air and it was something

00:18:01

Speaker 1: you could catch and hold in your pow, and then

00:18:06

Speaker 1: you can make time stop. Why don't you try, Hector?

00:18:11

Speaker 1: I believe you can do it, I really do. Hector's

00:18:16

Speaker 1: heart swelled with pride at Sonny's kind words, and he

00:18:21

Speaker 1: said he would give it a try. His gaze softened,

00:18:26

Speaker 1: and he imagined that the air around him was full

00:18:31

Speaker 1: of magic. He raised his poor and pictured catching some

00:18:37

Speaker 1: of the magic and holding it lightly. He brought his

00:18:43

Speaker 1: paw to his mouth and said, please freeze time around

00:18:51

Speaker 1: us so that we can help these royal dogs. And

00:18:57

Speaker 1: don't unfreeze it until I ask you to thank you.

00:19:04

Speaker 1: Magic Air blew on the imagined magic in his paw

00:19:13

Speaker 1: and set it free. Hector and Sonny and the Royal

00:19:20

Speaker 1: Dogs waited for something to happen. A few seconds later,

00:19:28

Speaker 1: time began to slow down, and then it came to

00:19:35

Speaker 1: a stop. Everyone froze and became as still as statues.

00:19:43

Speaker 1: Everyone except Hector, Sonny, Robert, and Rita. The Royal dogs

00:19:53

Speaker 1: shook their little heads in amazement and said they had

00:19:58

Speaker 1: never met anyone like Hector. And Sonny before the Royal

00:20:04

Speaker 1: Dogs turned around and headed towards the abbey, with Hector

00:20:09

Speaker 1: and Sonny right behind them. They made their way into

00:20:14

Speaker 1: the abbey through a hidden doorway at the back of

00:20:17

Speaker 1: the building. Once inside, the Royal Dogs took Hector and

00:20:22

Speaker 1: Sonny over to a large area and started to tell

00:20:26

Speaker 1: them about the missing item. Rita said, the King's crown

00:20:35

Speaker 1: is hundreds of years old and it has lots of

00:20:38

Speaker 1: precious stones on it, including sapphires, but one of those

00:20:44

Speaker 1: sapphires has gone missing. The crown is normally kept at

00:20:50

Speaker 1: the Tower of London, but it was brought here early

00:20:54

Speaker 1: this morning in preparation for the King's coronation. But when

00:21:01

Speaker 1: one of the sapphires was missing, and we heard some

00:21:05

Speaker 1: people saying it must have become loose and fallen out

00:21:10

Speaker 1: on its journey here. The Tower of London has been searched,

00:21:15

Speaker 1: and so as the vehicle that transported the crown to

00:21:18

Speaker 1: the abbey, but no one has found the sapphire yet.

00:21:24

Speaker 1: We've been asked to look for it in here and

00:21:27

Speaker 1: have already had a good look. Perhaps you two might

00:21:32

Speaker 1: be able to spot something we've missed. Robert described the

00:21:38

Speaker 1: sapphire and asked Hector and Sonny if they could help

00:21:42

Speaker 1: them look for it. Hector nodded and said they certainly would,

00:21:48

Speaker 1: no matter how long it took. The abbey was huge

00:21:53

Speaker 1: and there were many places to look, but the dogs

00:21:57

Speaker 1: were determined to help their new friend. Hector set off

00:22:02

Speaker 1: in one direction and Sunny set off in another. The

00:22:08

Speaker 1: two dogs walked slowly around the building and searched everywhere,

00:22:14

Speaker 1: every nook and cranny, every polished pew and chair, and

00:22:21

Speaker 1: all over the plush red carpets. The Royal dogs also

00:22:27

Speaker 1: searched the abbey, again, their noses close to the floor.

00:22:33

Speaker 1: As Sunny walked along one side of the abbey, she

00:22:37

Speaker 1: became transfixed by the sunlight slanting through the intricate stained

00:22:43

Speaker 1: glass windows. Rainbows of reflected colors flowed across the ancient

00:22:50

Speaker 1: floor and over the many vases of flowers that were

00:22:54

Speaker 1: placed around the abbey. She looked at the beautiful flow.

00:23:01

Speaker 1: Some of the blue ones reminded her of the flowers

00:23:04

Speaker 1: her owner grew in their garden at home. They looked

00:23:09

Speaker 1: very similar, apart from that one in the middle, which

00:23:14

Speaker 1: looked a little different. Sunny frowned and moved closer to it.

00:23:21

Speaker 1: The center of the blue flower was twinkling and shimmering

00:23:26

Speaker 1: in the sunlight, but the flowers around it weren't twinkling

00:23:30

Speaker 1: at all. Why was that. She looked at the flowers

00:23:35

Speaker 1: some more and noticed something. Her mouth dropped open, her

00:23:43

Speaker 1: eyes widened. There was a twinkling blue gem right in

00:23:50

Speaker 1: the middle of the flower. Its delicate color matched the

00:23:55

Speaker 1: soft petal surrounding it, making it almost invisible. Sonny turned

00:24:03

Speaker 1: around to face the others, waved her poor excitedly and said,

00:24:09

Speaker 1: I think I've found it. I think I've found the sapphire.

00:24:16

Speaker 1: The dogs jogged over to her and looked into the

00:24:19

Speaker 1: center of the blue flower. The royal dogs broke into

00:24:24

Speaker 1: big smiles and said it was the sapphire, and how

00:24:29

Speaker 1: clever Sonny was to have spotted it. They didn't know

00:24:34

Speaker 1: how it got into the flower, but that didn't matter now.

00:24:39

Speaker 1: All that mattered was that the sapphire had been found.

00:24:44

Speaker 1: Rita and Robert thanked Sonny and began to dance with joy.

00:24:50

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny were so happy that the missing sapphire

00:24:55

Speaker 1: had been found that they danced with Joy too. At

00:25:00

Speaker 1: that moment, a smartly dressed man walked into the abbey

00:25:05

Speaker 1: and saw the dancing dogs. He smiled gently at them

00:25:10

Speaker 1: and walked closer. The dogs didn't notice him for a

00:25:15

Speaker 1: while because they were too busy having a boogie, but

00:25:19

Speaker 1: when they did see him, they came to an immediate

00:25:23

Speaker 1: stop and stared at him. Hector asked the royal dogs

00:25:28

Speaker 1: who it was. They told him it was the king.

00:25:34

Speaker 1: The king, Hector said, the king who's getting his crown

00:25:42

Speaker 1: to day. The man spoke, I am the king who

00:25:50

Speaker 1: is getting my crown to day. His gentle smile grew

00:25:57

Speaker 1: and his eyes twinkled with kai. You can understand me,

00:26:05

Speaker 1: Hector asked, still smiling. The King said, it appears so,

00:26:15

Speaker 1: though why I can suddenly talk to dogs is a

00:26:21

Speaker 1: complete mystery to me. I would also like to know

00:26:26

Speaker 1: why everyone outside appears to become frozen in time. I

00:26:33

Speaker 1: don't suppose you know the answer to that, do you.

00:26:39

Speaker 1: I only pop down here to make sure everything was

00:26:43

Speaker 1: in order before the proceedings began, and was quite surprised,

00:26:49

Speaker 1: to say the least, that everyone had been frozen. But

00:26:55

Speaker 1: before we continue with our conversation, let me formally introduce myself.

00:27:04

Speaker 1: He gave his full name. It was a long name.

00:27:09

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny gave their names, which were much shorter.

00:27:16

Speaker 1: The Royal Dogs didn't need to introduce themselves as they

00:27:19

Speaker 1: had met the king before, but they didn't miss the

00:27:23

Speaker 1: chance to finally talk to him. They told him about

00:27:28

Speaker 1: the missing sapphire and how Sunny had found it. The

00:27:35

Speaker 1: King smiled at Sonnie and thanked her warmly. Sonny was

00:27:42

Speaker 1: overcome with shyness and looked down at the floor as

00:27:46

Speaker 1: if it was the most fascinating floor she had ever seen.

00:27:53

Speaker 1: Hector wasn't so shy and told the king how he

00:27:58

Speaker 1: had used magic to free time so that they could

00:28:01

Speaker 1: help the Royal Dogs find the sapphire without their owners

00:28:05

Speaker 1: noticing they were missing. When he saw the King's confused look,

00:28:11

Speaker 1: he then explained about the magical adventures he'd been on

00:28:15

Speaker 1: with Sonny. Ohkay, the King replied slowly, his eyes still

00:28:24

Speaker 1: full of confusion. Hector frowned and said to the King, oh,

00:28:31

Speaker 1: I don't understand why you haven't become frozen in time

00:28:37

Speaker 1: like everyone else. His frown turned into a smile. Perhaps

00:28:45

Speaker 1: you're a magical king and my magic didn't work on you.

00:28:53

Speaker 1: The King chuckled and said perhaps he was, or maybe

00:28:59

Speaker 1: he was just meant to meet Hector and Sonny on

00:29:03

Speaker 1: his coronation day. He said, in any event, why don't

00:29:12

Speaker 1: we take advantage of this extra time and havard chat.

00:29:19

Speaker 1: The four dogs were delighted with that suggestion and followed

00:29:23

Speaker 1: the king over to a comphy area on the carpet

00:29:27

Speaker 1: and sat at his side. The royal dogs talked about

00:29:31

Speaker 1: their jobs and how much they loved helping the king

00:29:35

Speaker 1: and his family. The king smiled and said his family

00:29:40

Speaker 1: loved having dogs around, and his mother had been very

00:29:44

Speaker 1: fond of Corgy's. In particular, he had a couple of

00:29:48

Speaker 1: Jack Russell terriers at home who were very similar to

00:29:52

Speaker 1: Robert and Rita. Hector and Sonny spoke about their magical adventures,

00:29:59

Speaker 1: which greatly impressed the others, and then the King spoke

00:30:05

Speaker 1: about some of his travels around the world and the

00:30:08

Speaker 1: lovely people he had met. After a while, the King

00:30:13

Speaker 1: said he had better get along, he still had many

00:30:17

Speaker 1: things to do. He asked the dogs if he could

00:30:21

Speaker 1: give them a hug before he left. The dog said

00:30:25

Speaker 1: yes immediately, and each one received a very special royal

00:30:31

Speaker 1: hug from the king. The King then collected the sapphire

00:30:36

Speaker 1: from the blue flower and said he would make sure

00:30:40

Speaker 1: it would be fixed firmly. Back on to his crown,

00:30:45

Speaker 1: He waved good bye and left the abbey. The dogs

00:30:51

Speaker 1: watched him leave and then grinned at each other. What

00:30:56

Speaker 1: a wonderful surprise there had been for them. Rita and

00:31:02

Speaker 1: Robert said they had work to do too, and thanked

00:31:05

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny for helping them. They said goodbye and

00:31:10

Speaker 1: headed off in the same direction that the king had.

00:31:16

Speaker 1: Hector and Sonny left Westminster Abbey through the secret door

00:31:22

Speaker 1: and returned to their owners. Hector used the coronation magic

00:31:29

Speaker 1: in the air to unfreeze time. People resumed their conversations

00:31:36

Speaker 1: and the city came back to life. Hector and Sonny

00:31:43

Speaker 1: sat at the side of their owners and smiled at

00:31:47

Speaker 1: each other, what an amazing day they were having. The

00:31:53

Speaker 1: day wasn't quite over. The coronation proceedings began and were

00:32:00

Speaker 1: on big screens. Hector and Sonny watched the event and smiled.

00:32:07

Speaker 1: When their new friend, the King was crowned, they were

00:32:12

Speaker 1: delighted to see that all the sapphires on the crown

00:32:17

Speaker 1: were firmly in place. Later on, the crowds gathered outside

00:32:24

Speaker 1: Buckingham Palace and watched the King and his family wave

00:32:29

Speaker 1: from the large balcony in the center of the magnificent building.

00:32:36

Speaker 1: The King searched the crowd, and when he saw Hector

00:32:40

Speaker 1: and Sonny, he gave them a big smile and an

00:32:45

Speaker 1: extra long wave. The two dogs waved back and wagged

00:32:51

Speaker 1: their tails so enthusiastically that they created a small breeze.

00:32:59

Speaker 1: The sun began to set and the day's celebrations drew

00:33:05

Speaker 1: to a close. The King gave one final wave to

00:33:10

Speaker 1: the cheering crowd and went back inside the palace. The

00:33:17

Speaker 1: joyous atmosphere gradually began to settle, and people started to

00:33:23

Speaker 1: head home together with their owners. Hector and Sunny began

00:33:31

Speaker 1: their long journey home and left the twinkling nights of

00:33:36

Speaker 1: London behind. But before they turned away from the palace,

00:33:43

Speaker 1: they said good night and sweet dreams to the King

00:33:51

Speaker 1: and his family. Later on, as they settled down in

00:33:58

Speaker 1: their cozy, warm beds in their homes, Hector and Sunny

00:34:04

Speaker 1: thought about their very special day. Happiness and joy flowed

00:34:13

Speaker 1: gently through them, and they knew it was a day

00:34:19

Speaker 1: they would remember forever.
