00:00:52
Speaker 1: waiting until your birthdays, and I'd personally like to congratulate
00:00:57
Speaker 1: you all on being so enterprising and so Now before
00:01:02
Speaker 1: we begin tonight's story, I have a question for you all.
00:01:07
Speaker 1: What was the last thing you said good night to
00:01:10
Speaker 1: this evening before going to bed. Was it your pet,
00:01:15
Speaker 1: your favorite soft toy, your toothbrush, or did you look
00:01:22
Speaker 1: outside and say good night to the moon. As you
00:01:26
Speaker 1: think about it, snuggle down into bed, close your eyes
00:01:30
Speaker 1: and imagine the moon, a big, bright, glowing moon beaming
00:01:36
Speaker 1: light down upon you. Take a lovely deep breath in
00:01:44
Speaker 1: and let it out. Breathe in, and tonight we're going
00:01:52
Speaker 1: to discover what makes the moon shine so brightly in
00:01:55
Speaker 1: our night sky, and hear about the amazing journey that
00:01:59
Speaker 1: led it there. On his journey, he sees many spectacular
00:02:04
Speaker 1: planets and wonderful sights, and he meets someone very special
00:02:09
Speaker 1: who becomes a dear friend. I think it's time to
00:02:14
Speaker 1: begin How the Moon found his Glow by Gillian Rogerson.
00:02:25
Speaker 1: Once upon a time there was a young moon who
00:02:28
Speaker 1: lived in a magical universe far far away. It was
00:02:32
Speaker 1: a universe made of many moons and millions of stars.
00:02:37
Speaker 1: The young moon loved playing games with the other moons,
00:02:40
Speaker 1: and they often chased each other in and out of
00:02:43
Speaker 1: their glimmering stars. He was a happy moon and spent
00:02:47
Speaker 1: a lot of time smiling and laughing. The little moon
00:02:52
Speaker 1: was just like the other moons. But then one day,
00:02:56
Speaker 1: when he was having a particularly fun time with his friends,
00:03:00
Speaker 1: something strange happened to him. He began to glow. His
00:03:06
Speaker 1: friends stopped what they were doing and gazed at his
00:03:09
Speaker 1: gentle light in wonder. They told him how beautiful his
00:03:14
Speaker 1: glow was. The moon smiled shyly and thanked them, and
00:03:20
Speaker 1: then he glowed a little brighter. As time went by,
00:03:26
Speaker 1: the young Moon got used to his glow. He realized
00:03:30
Speaker 1: that he glowed more brightly when he felt happy. Sometimes,
00:03:36
Speaker 1: if he wasn't feeling so happy and his glow dimmed,
00:03:39
Speaker 1: he would think about all his lovely friends and how
00:03:43
Speaker 1: beautiful the sky was, and his glow would soon return,
00:03:47
Speaker 1: shining even brighter than before. His moon friends loved looking
00:03:55
Speaker 1: at his gentle light, and they said seeing the moon's
00:03:59
Speaker 1: glow made them feel warm and happy inside. Their kind
00:04:05
Speaker 1: words made the moon glow even more. One day, the
00:04:11
Speaker 1: oldest moon in the Magical Universe asked to see him
00:04:16
Speaker 1: when he arrived at her starry home in the sky.
00:04:19
Speaker 1: She told the young Moon that his beautiful light was
00:04:23
Speaker 1: a special one and he should consider sharing it with
00:04:27
Speaker 1: a planet which would greatly benefit from his soothing glow.
00:04:33
Speaker 1: As there were only moons and stars in the magical
00:04:37
Speaker 1: universe where the young Moon lived, he was confused and
00:04:41
Speaker 1: asked what a planet was. The old Moon replied, our
00:04:49
Speaker 1: universe isn't the only one. There are other universes out
00:04:54
Speaker 1: there beyond our. A lot of them have planets, and
00:05:00
Speaker 1: some of those planets have moons that travel slowly around them.
00:05:07
Speaker 1: Those moons have a special light, just like yours, and
00:05:12
Speaker 1: they shine their light over their planets. The young moon
00:05:18
Speaker 1: said it would be wonderful to shine his light over
00:05:21
Speaker 1: a planet, but how would he find the right one
00:05:24
Speaker 1: for him. The wise moon suggested he travel through the
00:05:30
Speaker 1: universes and have a look at many planets until he
00:05:34
Speaker 1: found the one that he loved. But how I know
00:05:41
Speaker 1: if I love a planet, the young moon asked. The
00:05:46
Speaker 1: older moon smiled and replied, you will know because you'll
00:05:53
Speaker 1: glow more brightly than you ever have done before, and
00:05:59
Speaker 1: you'll feel a love for the planet deep inside you.
00:06:05
Speaker 1: The young moon thought about her words. Exploring other universes
00:06:11
Speaker 1: would be fun, and if he found a planet to
00:06:14
Speaker 1: call his home, well, that would be just wonderful. Yet
00:06:19
Speaker 1: he still had some concerns. He said, Oh, I will
00:06:24
Speaker 1: travel to other universes where the planets are, but if
00:06:29
Speaker 1: I don't want to stay with any of them, can
00:06:33
Speaker 1: I come back? Yes? Of course, The older moon said gently,
00:06:41
Speaker 1: there is always a home for you here, but something
00:06:45
Speaker 1: tells me that the perfect planet is out there, just
00:06:50
Speaker 1: waiting for you. The young moon smiled and said, really
00:06:58
Speaker 1: waiting for me. I'd better get going, then, The old
00:07:04
Speaker 1: Moon wished him luck and said, please send me a
00:07:08
Speaker 1: shooting star message when you have found your planet, and
00:07:13
Speaker 1: I'll let the other moons know about your new home.
00:07:17
Speaker 1: If you like, we can visit you now and again
00:07:21
Speaker 1: enjoy your adventure. The moon said he would. He glowed brightly,
00:07:28
Speaker 1: said good bye, and headed off to find his friends.
00:07:31
Speaker 1: He told his friends where he was going and why.
00:07:35
Speaker 1: They were very pleased for their friend and wished him
00:07:38
Speaker 1: lots of luck. They said they would definitely visit him
00:07:42
Speaker 1: and couldn't wait to see his special planet. The young
00:07:47
Speaker 1: Moon went on his way through the sparkling skies of
00:07:51
Speaker 1: the Magical Moon universe. He wasn't sure which direction he
00:07:56
Speaker 1: should go in, so he stopped at the side of
00:07:59
Speaker 1: a group of shimmering stars and asked for their help.
00:08:04
Speaker 1: The stars were happy to help him and led the
00:08:07
Speaker 1: Moon towards a cloud of twinkling star dust. They told
00:08:12
Speaker 1: him the cloud was an extra magical one and it
00:08:16
Speaker 1: was a portal into another universe, one that had many planets.
00:08:22
Speaker 1: The Moon went through the cloud of twinkling star dust
00:08:26
Speaker 1: and found himself in another universe. It had just as
00:08:32
Speaker 1: many stars as the one he had left, and he
00:08:35
Speaker 1: saw some moons too, but there were some large globes
00:08:41
Speaker 1: moving slowly in the sky. He had never seen anything
00:08:46
Speaker 1: like them before. He asked a nearby star if they
00:08:51
Speaker 1: were planets. They certainly are, the friendly star replied, She
00:08:58
Speaker 1: twinkled brightly. She looked at the glowing Moon. I've never
00:09:03
Speaker 1: seen you here before. The Moon smiled and explained why
00:09:09
Speaker 1: he was there. The star asked if he would like
00:09:13
Speaker 1: some help choosing a planet. She had lived alongside them
00:09:18
Speaker 1: for a very long time and knew a lot about them.
00:09:23
Speaker 1: The Moon said he would like that very much, and
00:09:26
Speaker 1: he thanked the kind star. The star twinkled some more
00:09:32
Speaker 1: and said he was very welcome. She took him over
00:09:37
Speaker 1: to the nearest planet, which was made of pale, pink crystals.
00:09:43
Speaker 1: She told the moon what the planet's name was, but
00:09:47
Speaker 1: it was such a long name that the Moon instantly
00:09:50
Speaker 1: forgot it and was too shy to ask the star
00:09:53
Speaker 1: to repeat it. The twinkling star told the young moon
00:10:00
Speaker 1: that the other moons traveled slowly around their planets in
00:10:04
Speaker 1: a circle, and suggested he do that with the crystal
00:10:08
Speaker 1: planet to see how he felt about it. She offered
00:10:12
Speaker 1: to go with him. The glowing moon and the twinkling
00:10:17
Speaker 1: star circled the pale, pink planet. It didn't take long
00:10:23
Speaker 1: because it was only a small planet. Once they had
00:10:28
Speaker 1: completed their journey around the planet, the star asked the
00:10:32
Speaker 1: moon how he felt about it. The Moon said it's
00:10:39
Speaker 1: a lovely planet, but well, he didn't know how to
00:10:45
Speaker 1: put words to his feelings. The star smiled and said,
00:10:51
Speaker 1: he's not making you glow, is it. The Moon gave
00:10:56
Speaker 1: her a small smile and said, no, it wasn't. Never mind,
00:11:03
Speaker 1: the star said, there are plenty of other planets here,
00:11:07
Speaker 1: and if you don't find the right one, I know
00:11:10
Speaker 1: how to travel to other universes where there are even
00:11:13
Speaker 1: more planets. I've been to those places before and spoken
00:11:18
Speaker 1: to many planets. They're so very friendly. I'm sure you'll
00:11:24
Speaker 1: find the perfect one for you, and if you'd like,
00:11:28
Speaker 1: I'd be happy to go with you and help you
00:11:31
Speaker 1: find your special planet. The Moon glowed at her kind
00:11:36
Speaker 1: offer and said he would love that. Thank you. The
00:11:40
Speaker 1: twinkling Star and the glowing Moon continued on their quest
00:11:45
Speaker 1: to find the perfect planet. They saw many planets, each
00:11:51
Speaker 1: one unique and special in its own way, and even
00:11:56
Speaker 1: though the Moon thought they were all beautiful, could sense
00:12:00
Speaker 1: that none of them was the right one for him.
00:12:04
Speaker 1: The star said he shouldn't give up. He agreed and
00:12:09
Speaker 1: said he was really enjoying their time together. The star
00:12:13
Speaker 1: said she was too, and twinkled more brightly. They continued
00:12:21
Speaker 1: on and traveled through more spectacular universes. The Moon was
00:12:27
Speaker 1: having such a lovely time with his new friend, and
00:12:31
Speaker 1: he didn't mind at all that he still hadn't found
00:12:34
Speaker 1: his perfect planet. But then they traveled to a universe
00:12:41
Speaker 1: that felt different to all the other ones, much much different.
00:12:49
Speaker 1: The Moon could feel the magic of it. As with
00:12:54
Speaker 1: the other universes they had been to, there were many
00:12:58
Speaker 1: planets to look at, but this one had an enormous star,
00:13:04
Speaker 1: and the planets there were moving slowly around it. It
00:13:09
Speaker 1: was the biggest star that the Moon had ever seen,
00:13:14
Speaker 1: and he felt the gentle heat of it flowing over him.
00:13:20
Speaker 1: He asked his friend what the big star was called.
00:13:25
Speaker 1: The star twinkled and said, it's called a sun, and
00:13:33
Speaker 1: this part of the universe is called the Solar System.
00:13:38
Speaker 1: Other universes have suns, but there's only one here. If
00:13:44
Speaker 1: you look closer at those planets, you'll see that some
00:13:49
Speaker 1: of them have moons above them. Oh wow, The moon
00:13:56
Speaker 1: replied he couldn't think of anything else say. He felt
00:14:02
Speaker 1: a warmth flowing all through him, and he glowed even more.
00:14:09
Speaker 1: Would you like to talk to those moons? Perhaps you
00:14:15
Speaker 1: can travel around their planets with them and see how
00:14:18
Speaker 1: you feel. The moon said he would like to do that,
00:14:23
Speaker 1: but he wasn't brave enough to talk to the other moons.
00:14:28
Speaker 1: His new friend said she could ask the moons for him,
00:14:32
Speaker 1: if that was okay. The moon said he would like
00:14:37
Speaker 1: that and thanked his new friend. She really was a
00:14:42
Speaker 1: great friend, the best a moon could have. The twinkling
00:14:48
Speaker 1: Star and the glowing Moon moved over to one of
00:14:52
Speaker 1: the planets. It had a huge swirling circle of red
00:14:57
Speaker 1: gas in the middle of it, and many many moons.
00:15:06
Speaker 1: The star said hello to the moon's and asked if
00:15:09
Speaker 1: her friend could join them for a trip around their planet. Sure,
00:15:15
Speaker 1: the nearest moon said, there are seventy nine of us,
00:15:18
Speaker 1: and we always have room for one more. The glowing
00:15:23
Speaker 1: moon joined the others and had a lovely time traveling
00:15:28
Speaker 1: around the huge planet. His star friend stayed near by
00:15:34
Speaker 1: and watched his journey. When he'd been all the way
00:15:39
Speaker 1: around the big planet, he said thank you to the moons,
00:15:43
Speaker 1: and joined his star friend. She could tell by his
00:15:47
Speaker 1: expression he'd had a lovely time with the other moons,
00:15:51
Speaker 1: but that the big planet wasn't the right one for him.
00:15:57
Speaker 1: Never mind, she said, we'll soon find the right one.
00:16:03
Speaker 1: The moon agreed and said he knew they were getting
00:16:06
Speaker 1: closer to the perfect planet because he could feel it
00:16:10
Speaker 1: in his heart. They visited the other moons that were
00:16:15
Speaker 1: circling their planets. The moons were extremely friendly and invited
00:16:21
Speaker 1: the glowing Moon to join them for a while. The
00:16:25
Speaker 1: glowing Moon had a wonderful time going around each planet
00:16:30
Speaker 1: with the other moons, but he knew he still hadn't
00:16:34
Speaker 1: found the right planet. But he wasn't concerned because he
00:16:39
Speaker 1: knew he was getting closer and closer to finding the
00:16:42
Speaker 1: perfect one. As the Twinkling Star and the Glowing Moon
00:16:49
Speaker 1: moved away from another planet that was lovely but not
00:16:53
Speaker 1: quite right, the star asked if they should leave the
00:16:57
Speaker 1: Solar System and try another union. The glowing Moon didn't
00:17:04
Speaker 1: answer because his attention had been fully captured by a
00:17:10
Speaker 1: beautiful planet in the distance. At first sight, the planet
00:17:16
Speaker 1: seemed to be completely blue in color, but when he
00:17:21
Speaker 1: looked closer, the moon saw glimpses of green on it too.
00:17:27
Speaker 1: There was something so very captivating about the planet, and
00:17:32
Speaker 1: the glowing Moon couldn't look away from it. He asked
00:17:37
Speaker 1: the star what the planet was called. She said, is
00:17:43
Speaker 1: called Earth. It's quite beautiful, isn't it. The moon said
00:17:51
Speaker 1: it was very beautiful. He asked if Earth had any moons,
00:17:56
Speaker 1: and if so, he would ask if he could join
00:18:00
Speaker 1: them on their journey around the beautiful planet. The star
00:18:05
Speaker 1: said Earth didn't have any moons. She moved closer to
00:18:10
Speaker 1: her friend and said softly, but I think it would
00:18:17
Speaker 1: like one. Why don't you go over and say hello
00:18:23
Speaker 1: and ask if you can travel around it? This time,
00:18:28
Speaker 1: the glowing Moon didn't feel any shyness at all. Even
00:18:34
Speaker 1: though he had only just seen the lovely planet, it
00:18:38
Speaker 1: already felt like a friend. He moved through the dark
00:18:44
Speaker 1: sky and over to the blue and green planet. His
00:18:50
Speaker 1: star friend followed him, twinkling brightly. The moon realized the
00:18:57
Speaker 1: planet was even more beauty to fall. Close up, he
00:19:02
Speaker 1: saw vast oceans, majestic mountains, glimmering gold deserts, and lush
00:19:11
Speaker 1: green forests. Using his moon magic, he listened to the
00:19:19
Speaker 1: soft sound of the ocean waves lapping upon the shores,
00:19:26
Speaker 1: and the gentle wind whispering through the trees of the forest.
00:19:33
Speaker 1: The soothing sounds filled his heart with love. The planet
00:19:41
Speaker 1: noticed the glowing moon and said hello to him. The
00:19:47
Speaker 1: planet's voice was full of warmth and love. She said
00:19:52
Speaker 1: she'd been waiting for the perfect moon for many years,
00:19:57
Speaker 1: and now here he was the most perfect moon of all.
00:20:05
Speaker 1: The moon glowed and glowed. He asked, how do you
00:20:13
Speaker 1: know I am the right moon for you. I can
00:20:20
Speaker 1: feel it in my heart, at my very core. The
00:20:25
Speaker 1: planet replied simply. The moon gazed at Earth and felt
00:20:32
Speaker 1: the love in his heart growing and growing. The planet
00:20:37
Speaker 1: said to him, may I ask, would you like to
00:20:44
Speaker 1: be my moon? Oh? Yes, I would like that so
00:20:52
Speaker 1: very much. Yes, please, the moon said. He shone more
00:20:57
Speaker 1: brightly than he ever had done before. He looked back
00:21:02
Speaker 1: at his star friend and asked her to come closer.
00:21:07
Speaker 1: When the planet saw the twinkling star, she said, hello,
00:21:14
Speaker 1: May I say you are the brightest, most beautiful star
00:21:20
Speaker 1: I have ever seen. Would you like to be the
00:21:25
Speaker 1: brightest star in my night sky? You would be the
00:21:30
Speaker 1: first one to appear every night, and you'll never be
00:21:35
Speaker 1: far away from your moon friend. The twinkling Star said
00:21:41
Speaker 1: she would love to stay in the sky above Earth.
00:21:45
Speaker 1: Upon hearing her words, the moon felt even more love
00:21:51
Speaker 1: fill his heart. The glowing Moon and the twinkling Star
00:21:59
Speaker 1: took up the positions above ears. The moon told the
00:22:04
Speaker 1: star he felt like he had finally found his home,
00:22:09
Speaker 1: and he was so glad he was sharing it with her.
00:22:14
Speaker 1: The star glittered and glimmered and said she was so
00:22:19
Speaker 1: very glad they had met. Earth explained how she traveled
00:22:26
Speaker 1: around the Sun, and during her journey, the Moon would
00:22:30
Speaker 1: travel around her. She said it was a kind of
00:22:34
Speaker 1: celestial dance that the planets and the moons did, and
00:22:39
Speaker 1: once the Moon got used to it, the movements would
00:22:43
Speaker 1: become very natural to him. She explained about an invisible
00:22:48
Speaker 1: force that came from her center, which would hold the
00:22:52
Speaker 1: Moon in place above her sky. She said, it's a
00:22:57
Speaker 1: bit like an invisible hu between us, which means you
00:23:03
Speaker 1: will never drift away from me. The glowing Moon listened
00:23:10
Speaker 1: carefully to every word. The planet said he liked the
00:23:15
Speaker 1: idea of being held in an invisible hug by her,
00:23:19
Speaker 1: and it made him feel so very happy and loved.
00:23:25
Speaker 1: The beautiful planet talked some more and told the Moon
00:23:30
Speaker 1: and the star about how she would evolve over the
00:23:33
Speaker 1: coming years, and how sometimes her lands and oceans would
00:23:40
Speaker 1: change positions. Her voice softened, and she said, in years
00:23:50
Speaker 1: to come, life will appear and thrive in the oceans,
00:23:56
Speaker 1: on land, and even in the sky. The moon and
00:24:02
Speaker 1: the star looked at each other and smiled. What an
00:24:08
Speaker 1: amazing time they were going to have with the beautiful planet.
00:24:15
Speaker 1: The planet said, I am extremely glad you have joined
00:24:22
Speaker 1: me on my journey around the Sun. If you have
00:24:27
Speaker 1: any questions about anything, please ask me, and I'll do
00:24:32
Speaker 1: my best to answer them. The moon knew he would
00:24:37
Speaker 1: have plenty of questions as time went by, and he
00:24:42
Speaker 1: knew the planet would answer him, for he sensed the
00:24:45
Speaker 1: wisdom in her. He also sensed the love and kindness
00:24:51
Speaker 1: that flowed from Earth and out into the universe, and
00:24:56
Speaker 1: so their journey began. The blue and green planet traveled
00:25:04
Speaker 1: slowly around the Sun, with the glowing Moon and the
00:25:08
Speaker 1: twinkling star close companions. The Moon glowed brightly and cast
00:25:16
Speaker 1: his golden beams of light across the surface of the Earth.
00:25:22
Speaker 1: Each moonbeam highlighted the beauty of Earth and made the
00:25:27
Speaker 1: Moon love the planet even more. The moon saw his
00:25:33
Speaker 1: reflections in the vast oceans, the flowing rivers, and even
00:25:39
Speaker 1: in puddles after the rain. His loving connection to the
00:25:45
Speaker 1: beautiful planet grew deeper and stronger. Time went by, and
00:25:53
Speaker 1: the Moon and the Star watched in wonder as life
00:25:58
Speaker 1: began to evolve on the planet below them. They saw
00:26:03
Speaker 1: life in the oceans appearing, and were amazed at how
00:26:07
Speaker 1: different the creatures were, from the tiny fish that darted
00:26:12
Speaker 1: along the ocean floor to the huge whales that swam
00:26:17
Speaker 1: majestically through the waves. They watched birds soaring through the sky,
00:26:24
Speaker 1: blissfully caught on a breeze and letting the wind take
00:26:28
Speaker 1: them outwards. They witnessed animals appearing on the land, those
00:26:36
Speaker 1: who lived in jungles and those who set up homes
00:26:40
Speaker 1: in snowy landscapes. The Moon and Star often watched the
00:26:46
Speaker 1: animals who came out at night, the ones who gazed
00:26:50
Speaker 1: lovingly at the glowing moon and the twinkling star in
00:26:54
Speaker 1: the dark sky. The beautiful planet continued to provide everything
00:27:02
Speaker 1: that was needed for those who lived on her lands
00:27:06
Speaker 1: and in the ocean. The moon continued to glow and
00:27:11
Speaker 1: the star continued to twinkle. Many more years passed, and
00:27:18
Speaker 1: humans started to appear on the planet. They were completely
00:27:23
Speaker 1: different to anything else the Moon had seen before. Not
00:27:29
Speaker 1: only did they begin to travel around the planet and
00:27:33
Speaker 1: set up homes in many different places, but whenever he
00:27:38
Speaker 1: appeared at night, the humans would stop what they were
00:27:42
Speaker 1: doing and look up at him in wonder and admiration.
00:27:48
Speaker 1: Their love for the glowing Moon rose from the planet
00:27:52
Speaker 1: and flowed over him. He glowed and glowed, and just
00:27:58
Speaker 1: when he thought he couldn't possibly glow anymore, the kind
00:28:04
Speaker 1: humans did something else. They started to create art that
00:28:10
Speaker 1: showed their deep love for him. They painted pictures of
00:28:15
Speaker 1: the Moon in many different settings, over towns, above the oceans,
00:28:22
Speaker 1: and peeping through branches of tall trees. They wrote poems
00:28:29
Speaker 1: about him, expressing their love for his beauty and the
00:28:34
Speaker 1: light he brought to the world. They wrote stories too,
00:28:40
Speaker 1: long ones filled with adventure and unforgettable characters, and shorter
00:28:46
Speaker 1: ones that they read to their children at night as
00:28:50
Speaker 1: they snuggled down in their beds. The Moon heard every word,
00:28:56
Speaker 1: and he beamed brightly in the night sky. The kind
00:29:03
Speaker 1: humans wrote songs about him as well, and sometimes they
00:29:08
Speaker 1: would sit on grassy hills at twilight and share their
00:29:13
Speaker 1: wonderful melodies with him. Many people danced beneath the light
00:29:20
Speaker 1: of the Moon, falling in love with each other and
00:29:24
Speaker 1: also falling deeper in love with the Moon. Every night
00:29:31
Speaker 1: he would hear the children of the planet sending out
00:29:35
Speaker 1: soft calls of good night, Moon, sweet dreams. The Moon
00:29:42
Speaker 1: would send an extra moonbeam over their homes and silently
00:29:48
Speaker 1: wish them good night and sweet dreams too. There came
00:29:55
Speaker 1: a time when some of his human friends traveled through
00:29:59
Speaker 1: the sky eye on a rocket and landed on his surface.
00:30:04
Speaker 1: He was so very pleased to see them and made
00:30:07
Speaker 1: them as welcome as he possibly could. Sometimes, his magical
00:30:13
Speaker 1: moon friends came to visit him. When humans appeared on
00:30:18
Speaker 1: the planet, the moons used their magic to make themselves
00:30:22
Speaker 1: invisible because they didn't want to confuse the people below.
00:30:28
Speaker 1: The other moons agreed that Earth was a very special planet.
00:30:34
Speaker 1: The kind humans sent their love and appreciation to the
00:30:39
Speaker 1: stars too, and created pictures, poems, and songs about them
00:30:46
Speaker 1: as well. And just as the Sun had said, the
00:30:51
Speaker 1: Moon's star friend was always the first star to appear.
00:30:56
Speaker 1: Every night. When the people saw her, they would make
00:31:01
Speaker 1: a wish upon her twinkling light and send love her way.
00:31:09
Speaker 1: Hearing their wishes made the star twinkle even more, and
00:31:15
Speaker 1: seeing his friend twinkle made the moon glow even more brightly.
00:31:22
Speaker 1: The moon was so glad he had made the journey
00:31:26
Speaker 1: through the universes in search of the perfect planet, and
00:31:31
Speaker 1: he felt so very thankful to be able to share
00:31:36
Speaker 1: his special light with all those who lived on the planet.
00:31:42
Speaker 1: He loved them so very dearly, and he knew from
00:31:48
Speaker 1: the love that came his way that they loved him too.
00:31:54
Speaker 1: That love continued to make him glow and go and
00:32:02
Speaker 1: play
