[00:02:49] It had been two months since the grand opening of the Home Sweet Home Hotel,

[00:02:54] and Pickle the Frog, who was the hotel's founder, owner, receptionist, concierge, and general manager,

[00:03:03] thought the whole thing was going rather well, if he might say so himself.

[00:03:08] It was an incredibly demanding job.

[00:03:11] Pickle was up at the crack of dawn to clean up the hotel,

[00:03:14] welcome guests to Sleepy Forest,

[00:03:17] man the desk, change beds,

[00:03:20] arrange cushions,

[00:03:22] tend to needs,

[00:03:24] and oversee any occasional hiccups in the plumbing,

[00:03:28] like a burst pipe or a clogged up sink.

[00:03:31] But at night, he slept soundly,

[00:03:34] knowing that he was running a very tight ship.

[00:03:38] And what's more,

[00:03:39] the guests seemed very happy indeed.

[00:03:42] When Pickle had first had the thought of opening a hotel,

[00:03:45] the idea was to create a space where guests would feel they had a home away from home.

[00:03:52] That was the reason for the name,

[00:03:54] the Home Sweet Home Hotel.

[00:03:56] Pickle prided himself on being able to meet any requirements a guest had,

[00:04:01] in order to make sure they felt right at home.

[00:04:05] So far, he'd found a room long enough to accommodate the extremely long neck of a giraffe called Twiggy.

[00:04:13] He'd found an underground cavern room, just perfect for Cinders the dragon,

[00:04:19] and had happily replaced a heart-shaped cushion,

[00:04:22] which had caught light when she'd had an accidental sneeze.

[00:04:25] And he'd even enlisted his good friend Buck the Beaver

[00:04:31] to help make a wooden clambering castle for the young kittens of the Whiskerton family.

[00:04:37] Yup, he was really, really happy with all the hard work he'd put into the Home Sweet Home Hotel.

[00:04:44] It had really paid off.

[00:04:46] There was nothing he was sure that his guests could want that the hotel didn't provide.

[00:04:52] Nothing at all.

[00:04:56] Until, that is, came one afternoon when Pickle was saying goodbye to one of his favourite guests,

[00:05:02] a very well-dressed pig named Truffles.

[00:05:06] Truffles stayed at the Home Sweet Home Hotel regularly.

[00:05:10] He was often passing through Sleepy Forest,

[00:05:13] on his route as a travelling salesman,

[00:05:16] selling waistcoats and top hats and pocket watches and other things like that.

[00:05:21] And he always had the most complimentary things to say about the hotel.

[00:05:27] A wonderful stay as ever, Pickle,

[00:05:33] Truffles said on the afternoon in question.

[00:05:36] Such a comfy bed.

[00:05:39] Such a beautiful view.

[00:05:42] Such a glorious night's sleep.

[00:05:47] I really must say,

[00:05:49] this hotel is almost perfection itself.

[00:05:54] The only other thing I wish you had here is a restaurant.

[00:06:00] You know,

[00:06:01] somewhere to have a nice bite to eat in the evening,

[00:06:05] once you get home from work.

[00:06:08] Oh, said Pickle.

[00:06:11] I'd never thought of that.

[00:06:15] Well,

[00:06:16] Truffles told him with a kindly smile,

[00:06:19] nowhere could have everything.

[00:06:23] But as Pickle went about the rest of his day,

[00:06:27] what Truffles had said stayed with him.

[00:06:30] A restaurant?

[00:06:31] At the Home Sweet Home Hotel?

[00:06:34] What an idea!

[00:06:37] Pickle was a little embarrassed that he'd never had the idea himself before.

[00:06:43] It certainly would make the guests happy to have somewhere to fill their bellies.

[00:06:48] And Pickle couldn't deny it.

[00:06:51] There was a large part of him that wanted to rise to the challenge.

[00:06:56] Nowhere can have everything, huh?

[00:07:00] Well,

[00:07:01] if there was anywhere that could,

[00:07:04] Pickle thought,

[00:07:05] it was the Home Sweet Home Hotel.

[00:07:08] The only problem was who would run the restaurant.
