Once they had collected their suitcases from baggage claim, they all hopped on a coach to their hotel. It was a big hotel with hundreds of rooms and a big dinner hall that they could go to for buffet food all day and night. Nana and Pappy said they had been before and they had had a wonderful time, so they knew that the whole family would enjoy enjoy it. Here, Heilah was sleeping in a room with her mummy and Daddy and baby Freddy, whilst Nana and Pappy slept in the room next door. They had a balcony attached to their room with a table and chairs that overlooked the pool area. It was pretty fancy. Isler peered through the balcony bars and down to the swimming pool. There were three pools, one of which had a long water slide attached to it. Islah was desperate to change into her bathing costume and head outside. Luckily so with the rest of her family, and they all geared up to go downstairs as soon as possible. With her new heart shaped sunglasses on, Isler and her family headed downstairs to the swimming pool to enjoy their first day on holiday. Nana and Pappy relaxed on a couple of reclining sun lounges whilst Mommy and Daddy covered Ela and Freddy with suncream and took them to the kid's pool. Isla waded into the blue water with her armbands on and kicked her legs behind her to swim. Isla had been taking swimming lessons recently and was getting much better, but she still liked to wear her armbands sometimes. Islah swam up to baby Freddy, who was bobbing around in a special baby float with Daddy. He was having a great time. Islah giggled as Freddy splashed his pudgy little hands in the water and cackled with delight. Isla pushed a small wave of water towards Freddy and he swept up and down over the way his float, chuckling all the way. Isla, Freddie and their mummy and daddy had a lot of fun in the swimming pool. Eiler practiced her doggy paddle and stood under the water sprinklers with her mummy. Then she had a go on the water slide that she had been eyeing up from the room balcony. She zoomed down the slide so fast she felt like she was on a roller coaster. When she landed in the pool at the bottom, a tidal wave of water splashed up into the air and drenched her father, who was waiting at the bottom. The whole family fell about laughing at his soggy face. Then he picked Ela up and tickled her for getting him all wet. Their holiday was getting off to a great start.
