Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome back to Coco Sleep, a podcast of
00:00:14
Speaker 1: original children's bedtime stories and meditations designed to make bedtime
00:00:19
Speaker 1: a dream. Happy Thanksgiving listeners, bring out the twinkly lights,
00:00:25
Speaker 1: the colorful decorations, and dust off your smiles, as today
00:00:30
Speaker 1: we are celebrating. If Thanksgiving is new to you, though
00:00:34
Speaker 1: you'll soon learn all about it as we return to
00:00:37
Speaker 1: Sleepy Forest, where a gathering is taking place. Before we
00:00:42
Speaker 1: head in, though, let's fill our heads with all the
00:00:46
Speaker 1: reasons we have to be thankful and grateful. I'll go first.
00:00:51
Speaker 1: Almost a year ago, some friends and I here at
00:00:54
Speaker 1: sleep HQ got together and we decided to start a
00:00:57
Speaker 1: podcast of bedtime stories for children. But we needed listeners.
00:01:02
Speaker 1: Today we cannot quite believe how many listeners we have,
00:01:06
Speaker 1: and we are so very thankful to you for finding
00:01:09
Speaker 1: Coco Sleep, for telling people about it, and for all
00:01:13
Speaker 1: your fabulous suggestions and ideas that come in all the time.
00:01:17
Speaker 1: So from myself, Abby and all the team, we want
00:01:22
Speaker 1: to start our Thanksgiving evening by giving a mega shout
00:01:25
Speaker 1: out to each and every one of you listening. Thank you.
00:01:31
Speaker 1: It's always important not to mention it feels really good
00:01:35
Speaker 1: to give thanks for things, so keep thinking on what
00:01:38
Speaker 1: you are thankful for. As we return to Sleepy Forest,
00:01:43
Speaker 1: we're meeting up with our little Koala friends again. Coco
00:01:46
Speaker 1: and his family have been invited to a special event
00:01:49
Speaker 1: called Thanksgiving. They have never been to a Thanksgiving celebration
00:01:54
Speaker 1: before and are curious to find out more about it.
00:01:58
Speaker 1: Let's join them as they sell a rate the first
00:02:01
Speaker 1: ever Thanksgiving in Sleepy Forest. This is Coco Celebrates Thanksgiving
00:02:07
Speaker 1: by Jillian Rogerson. Deep in the heart of a far
00:02:19
Speaker 1: away forest stood a cozy cabin. Inside the cabin lived
00:02:24
Speaker 1: a family of koalas. The youngest koala was called Cocoke.
00:02:30
Speaker 1: It was a chilly day in late November when Coco
00:02:33
Speaker 1: left his cozy cabin with his parents and grandparents and
00:02:37
Speaker 1: set off walking through Sleepy Forest. A family of eagles
00:02:42
Speaker 1: had moved to the area recently and had invited all
00:02:45
Speaker 1: the animals of the forest to join them in a
00:02:48
Speaker 1: special celebration called Thanksgiving. Coco and his family had never
00:02:53
Speaker 1: heard of the celebration before and wanted to find out
00:02:56
Speaker 1: more about it. When the Eagle family had sent the
00:03:02
Speaker 1: invitations out, they had told the guests they didn't need
00:03:05
Speaker 1: to bring anything with them, as all the food would
00:03:08
Speaker 1: be provided. As the Koalas walked along the forest path,
00:03:13
Speaker 1: Coco said, I wonder what the food would be like.
00:03:18
Speaker 1: I hope I like it. His grandma smiled at him
00:03:23
Speaker 1: and said that as far as she knew, there wasn't
00:03:26
Speaker 1: a food that he didn't like. Coco grinned and said
00:03:30
Speaker 1: that was true. Coco skipped along the path, crunching on
00:03:36
Speaker 1: some of the fallen leaves of autumn. The little koala
00:03:40
Speaker 1: looked up at the branches of the trees and noticed
00:03:44
Speaker 1: that only a dozen or so leaves were left on
00:03:47
Speaker 1: the trees. A gust of wind caught the remaining leaves
00:03:52
Speaker 1: and gently poured them free from the branches. The leaves
00:03:57
Speaker 1: fluttered and flitted towards the ground. Coco chased after them
00:04:04
Speaker 1: with his poor held out. He caught three red leaves
00:04:08
Speaker 1: and two orange ones. He gave a leaf each to
00:04:12
Speaker 1: his parents and grandparents, and kept a red one for himself.
00:04:17
Speaker 1: He put it safely in his pocket. The eagles had
00:04:22
Speaker 1: built a home in a clearing not far away, and
00:04:25
Speaker 1: it didn't take long for Coco and his family to
00:04:28
Speaker 1: reach it. When they arrived at the clearing, they noticed
00:04:33
Speaker 1: a new wooden house nestling in the bow of the
00:04:36
Speaker 1: biggest tree. Twinkling fairy lights hung from the roof of
00:04:40
Speaker 1: the house and gave it a cozy feel. The area
00:04:45
Speaker 1: in front of the large tree had been set up
00:04:48
Speaker 1: with chairs and tables. More twinkling fairy lights were strewn
00:04:53
Speaker 1: throughout the clearing, and Coco felt like he was walking
00:04:57
Speaker 1: into a magical world. The Eagle family was standing on
00:05:03
Speaker 1: the ground beneath their home, and when they saw the koalas,
00:05:07
Speaker 1: they flew over to them and welcomed them to their home.
00:05:12
Speaker 1: An elderly eagle smiled kindly at the koalas she said,
00:05:18
Speaker 1: thank you for coming to our special celebration. We hope
00:05:22
Speaker 1: you'll have a good time. Please do make yourselves at home.
00:05:28
Speaker 1: My name is Martha. The other eagles gave their names,
00:05:33
Speaker 1: and then ko Ko's mum introduced the koalas she thanked
00:05:38
Speaker 1: the eagles for their kind invitation. Ko Ko smiled shyly
00:05:44
Speaker 1: at Martha and said he liked their wooden home in
00:05:47
Speaker 1: the tree. Martha said, thank you, We like it too.
00:05:54
Speaker 1: Sometimes we sleep on branches if the weather is warm enough,
00:05:59
Speaker 1: but we do thy having a cozy home to go
00:06:01
Speaker 1: into when the nights turn a little cooler. I love
00:06:07
Speaker 1: snuggling up in my warm bed on a night. Coco grinned,
00:06:13
Speaker 1: I like snuggling up in my bed too, and I
00:06:18
Speaker 1: love listening to bedtime stories before I go to sleep.
00:06:22
Speaker 1: Do you like bedtime stories? Martha said she did, but
00:06:28
Speaker 1: couldn't remember the last time she had heard one. She
00:06:32
Speaker 1: chuckled and said, perhaps I'm too grown up for a
00:06:37
Speaker 1: bedtime story. Coco thought about her words and then said,
00:06:45
Speaker 1: I don't think anyone is ever too grown up for
00:06:48
Speaker 1: a story. I know lots of bedtime stories. Would you
00:06:54
Speaker 1: like me to tell you one later? Martha said she
00:06:59
Speaker 1: would like that very much, thank you. A small eagle
00:07:04
Speaker 1: flew through the trees and landed at the side of Martha.
00:07:09
Speaker 1: The eagle was a little smaller than Coco, and she
00:07:13
Speaker 1: had beautiful, deep orange eyes that reminded Coco of softly
00:07:18
Speaker 1: glowing logs in a fireplace. The little eagle looked up
00:07:25
Speaker 1: at Martha and said, sorry, I'm late, Grandma. I was
00:07:31
Speaker 1: chasing leaves through the forest. I wanted to catch the
00:07:35
Speaker 1: last ones. She saw Coco and waved to him, Hi,
00:07:43
Speaker 1: I'm ember. Coco gave his name and asked if she
00:07:49
Speaker 1: had caught any falling leaves. Ember shook her head and
00:07:53
Speaker 1: said no, she hadn't been quick enough. Coco reached into
00:07:59
Speaker 1: his coat pocket and pulled out the red leaf that
00:08:02
Speaker 1: he had caught earlier. He held it out to Ember
00:08:06
Speaker 1: and said, you can have this one. I caught it
00:08:10
Speaker 1: on the way here. Ember's orange eyes widened in surprise.
00:08:17
Speaker 1: She said, oh, are you sure. Coco nodded and smiled
00:08:24
Speaker 1: at the little eagle. Ember took the leaf and said
00:08:29
Speaker 1: thank you. She examined it and said it was the
00:08:33
Speaker 1: most perfect leaf she had ever seen. She tucked it
00:08:38
Speaker 1: safely inside her feathers. She grinned at Coco, and Coco
00:08:44
Speaker 1: grinned back. Martha suggested Ember show Coco around the clearing
00:08:50
Speaker 1: and perhaps she could tell him about the Thanksgiving food
00:08:54
Speaker 1: they would have later. Ember and Coco walked away from
00:08:59
Speaker 1: the grown ups than towards the tables and chairs. Ko
00:09:03
Speaker 1: Ko had lots of questions for Ember and asked where
00:09:08
Speaker 1: the family had lived before and if their journey to
00:09:11
Speaker 1: Sleepy Forest had been a long one. Ember said, we
00:09:17
Speaker 1: lived in a country far far away, across a big sea.
00:09:23
Speaker 1: We had heard about Sleepy Forest from some of our relatives.
00:09:27
Speaker 1: Soon live here, and it sounded they such a wonderful
00:09:31
Speaker 1: place that Grandma said we should live here too. When
00:09:35
Speaker 1: we got here, we all loved it and our home
00:09:38
Speaker 1: was built straight away. She smiled at ko Ko, I
00:09:44
Speaker 1: love it here. I hope we stay here forever. Ko
00:09:52
Speaker 1: Ko said he hoped they would stay forever too. Just then,
00:09:57
Speaker 1: some of ko Ko's friends came into the clearing with
00:10:00
Speaker 1: their families. Coco's friends ran over to him, and the
00:10:04
Speaker 1: Koala introduced them to Ember. Ember gave them all a
00:10:10
Speaker 1: friendly hello and asked them to sit at a table
00:10:13
Speaker 1: with her and she would tell them all about the
00:10:16
Speaker 1: Thanksgiving celebration. The young animals sat at the nearest table.
00:10:24
Speaker 1: Ember began Thanksgiving. It's something we celebrate every year with
00:10:31
Speaker 1: our family and friends. It's a time when we think
00:10:36
Speaker 1: about all the wonderful things in our lives that we're
00:10:39
Speaker 1: thankful for. Cocoa and his friends thought that was a
00:10:44
Speaker 1: marvelous thing to celebrate, and they liked it even more
00:10:49
Speaker 1: when Ember told them that there would be lots of
00:10:51
Speaker 1: delicious food later, including roast vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, and
00:10:58
Speaker 1: pumpkin pie. Martha smiled warmly at the animals in front
00:11:05
Speaker 1: of her. She stood up, opened her wings and announced
00:11:10
Speaker 1: it was time for the party food. She asked everyone
00:11:15
Speaker 1: to take a seat at the tables and said the
00:11:18
Speaker 1: food would be brought out to them. The young animals
00:11:23
Speaker 1: ran over to a table and sat together. Hot food
00:11:28
Speaker 1: was soon placed in front of them. Dishes overflowed with
00:11:33
Speaker 1: fluffy mashed potato, delicious roasted vegetables, and a yummy bean casserole.
00:11:41
Speaker 1: The young animals tucked into the warm food and thoroughly
00:11:45
Speaker 1: enjoyed it. Once the plates had been cleared away, the
00:11:51
Speaker 1: desserts were brought out, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. Coco
00:11:59
Speaker 1: couldn't dis side which one to have because they both
00:12:03
Speaker 1: looked delicious. Ember gave him a cheeky grin and said
00:12:12
Speaker 1: he should have a little bit of both, because that's
00:12:15
Speaker 1: what she was going to do. Coco grinned back at
00:12:20
Speaker 1: the little eagle. He started to think about the lovely
00:12:26
Speaker 1: things in his life and all the fun times he'd
00:12:30
Speaker 1: had with his family and friends. His thoughts tumbled around
00:12:35
Speaker 1: his head like a delightful jumble of love filled memories
00:12:41
Speaker 1: and made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Coco's
00:12:47
Speaker 1: heart was full of love, and he wanted to share
00:12:52
Speaker 1: his feelings with everyone. He finished the last of his dessert,
00:12:59
Speaker 1: licked his food, walk clean, and turned to his friends.
00:13:04
Speaker 1: Coco said to the rainbow colored cameleon next to him, Camo,
00:13:11
Speaker 1: I want to say thank you for being such a
00:13:15
Speaker 1: good friend to me. And I love all the bright
00:13:19
Speaker 1: colors that you wear, especially the rainbow that you're wearing now.
00:13:25
Speaker 1: It always makes me smile. Coco broke into a wide
00:13:30
Speaker 1: smile as he looked at the colorful comedian. Camo said, Oh, Coco,
00:13:39
Speaker 1: that is such a lovely thing to say. I want
00:13:43
Speaker 1: to say thank you to you for always being there
00:13:47
Speaker 1: for me. Glittery pink hearts appeared on Camo's skin on
00:13:53
Speaker 1: top of the rainbow. Coco spoke to his other friends
00:13:58
Speaker 1: and said thank you to them too. He told them
00:14:03
Speaker 1: how special they were to him and how much he
00:14:06
Speaker 1: loved spending time with them. His friends were touched by
00:14:12
Speaker 1: his kind words, and in return, they told Coco how
00:14:16
Speaker 1: much he meant to them. Koko looked at Ember and said,
00:14:23
Speaker 1: I've only known you a little while, but I know
00:14:27
Speaker 1: in my heart that we're going to be great friends.
00:14:33
Speaker 1: Ember nodded she felt that way too. The warm, fuzzy
00:14:39
Speaker 1: feeling inside, Coco grew and grew. He looked around the clearing.
00:14:47
Speaker 1: There were so many animals he wanted to say thank
00:14:50
Speaker 1: you to, and of course he had hundreds and hundreds
00:14:55
Speaker 1: of thank you for his family. Koko told his friends
00:15:00
Speaker 1: he had something to do and would see them later.
00:15:05
Speaker 1: The little Koala proceeded to make his way around the
00:15:09
Speaker 1: animals of Sleepy Forest. He had many thank yous to
00:15:13
Speaker 1: give out, and every time he said thank you to someone,
00:15:18
Speaker 1: he felt more and more love flow through him. Everyone
00:15:24
Speaker 1: he spoke to had something lovely to say to the
00:15:27
Speaker 1: little Koala, and Coco felt his heart overflowing with love.
00:15:35
Speaker 1: Coco walked over to his family and said, Grandpa, thank
00:15:42
Speaker 1: you for helping me to bake such delicious cakes and biscuits.
00:15:48
Speaker 1: I love being in the kitchen with you, especially when
00:15:52
Speaker 1: we have a little dance together. Coco's grandpa smiled and
00:15:58
Speaker 1: said he loved baking with Coco and dancing too, and
00:16:02
Speaker 1: perhaps they could have a boogie later on. Coco spoke
00:16:08
Speaker 1: to his father next and said, thank you for all
00:16:13
Speaker 1: the warm bubble bars you've made me, and the purple
00:16:17
Speaker 1: blanket you knitted for me, and the scarf and gloves
00:16:22
Speaker 1: and jumpers. Coco stopped to take a deep breath. He
00:16:27
Speaker 1: smiled at his dad and continued, all those lovely clothes
00:16:32
Speaker 1: you made for me, I love them all. His dad
00:16:38
Speaker 1: pulled him into a hug and said he had loved
00:16:41
Speaker 1: knitting those clothes for Coco and would be making many
00:16:45
Speaker 1: more in the future. Coco turned to his grandma next
00:16:51
Speaker 1: and thanked her for all the cuddles she had given
00:16:54
Speaker 1: him over the years, the time she had helped him
00:16:58
Speaker 1: fasten his coat and his shoelaces, and all those wonderful
00:17:03
Speaker 1: bedtime stories she had told him. Coco's grandma gave him
00:17:09
Speaker 1: an extra long thank you hug for his kind words.
00:17:15
Speaker 1: Coco moved over to his mom, gazed at her and said, Mom,
00:17:23
Speaker 1: thank you for everything, everything you do, everything you say,
00:17:32
Speaker 1: and for always being there for me. His mom wrapped
00:17:37
Speaker 1: her arms around her little son and said, you are welcome.
00:17:44
Speaker 1: She released him from the hug and cupped his face
00:17:48
Speaker 1: in her paws. She kissed him on the tip of
00:17:51
Speaker 1: his nose. Coco, thank you for being such a kind
00:17:58
Speaker 1: hearted Koala. Are you having a lovely time? Koko said
00:18:05
Speaker 1: he was having a marvelous time and was looking forward
00:18:09
Speaker 1: to the dancing later, he looked over his mum's shoulder
00:18:17
Speaker 1: and into the forest behind. He hadn't quite finished with
00:18:22
Speaker 1: his thank yous yet, he said, can I go for
00:18:29
Speaker 1: a little walk through the forest please? I want to
00:18:33
Speaker 1: say thank you to it. His mum said, of course,
00:18:37
Speaker 1: but don't be too long. Coko said he wouldn't. He
00:18:42
Speaker 1: gave his family a wave and walked towards the trees.
00:18:48
Speaker 1: Ember flew over to his side and asked where he
00:18:51
Speaker 1: was going. Koko told her and asked if she wanted
00:18:56
Speaker 1: to go with him, he could show her some of
00:18:59
Speaker 1: his favorite places in the forest. Thanks, Coco, I'd love that,
00:19:06
Speaker 1: Ember replied. Coco walked along with his new friend flying
00:19:12
Speaker 1: at his side. As they traveled through the forest, the
00:19:18
Speaker 1: little Koala said thank you to as many trees as
00:19:21
Speaker 1: he could. He told Ember how beautiful the trees were
00:19:26
Speaker 1: during the year, from the tiny green buds that appeared
00:19:31
Speaker 1: in spring through to the snow in the winter that
00:19:35
Speaker 1: settled on the branches like a white fluffy coat. The
00:19:41
Speaker 1: two friends went by the river and Coco took Ember
00:19:46
Speaker 1: over to one of his favorite rocks to sit on.
00:19:50
Speaker 1: The Koala and the eagle sat down and looked at
00:19:55
Speaker 1: the crystal clear river as it tumbled over pebble and
00:20:00
Speaker 1: around rocks. Coco said, I love listening to the sound
00:20:08
Speaker 1: of the flowing water, how it trickles and babbles as
00:20:13
Speaker 1: it goes by. It almost sounds like music. He hummed
00:20:21
Speaker 1: a soft melody that matched the soothing sound of the
00:20:26
Speaker 1: moving water. Ember joined in with his humming. They watched
00:20:34
Speaker 1: the orange fish darting in and out of the pebbles
00:20:38
Speaker 1: on the riverbed, and the frogs leaping from one rock
00:20:43
Speaker 1: to another. Coco said thank you to the fish and frogs.
00:20:51
Speaker 1: Ember said thank you to them too. Next, Coco led
00:20:58
Speaker 1: Ember towards an old wooden bridge and said he loved
00:21:03
Speaker 1: sitting in the middle of it and watching the river
00:21:07
Speaker 1: flowing underneath it. Sometimes he would drop a small stick
00:21:13
Speaker 1: into the water and watch it float downstream. Coco found
00:21:21
Speaker 1: a couple of small sticks near the bridge and gave
00:21:26
Speaker 1: one to Ember. The friends walked onto the bridge and
00:21:32
Speaker 1: together they dropped the sticks into the water and gazed
00:21:38
Speaker 1: at them as the sticks floated away. Ember said the
00:21:45
Speaker 1: bridge was a peaceful place to be. Coco agreed. He
00:21:51
Speaker 1: patted the bridge and said thank you to it. Ember
00:21:56
Speaker 1: added her thanks. The little eagle and the koala sat
00:22:03
Speaker 1: down in the middle of the bridge and stared softly
00:22:08
Speaker 1: at the water. Ember asked Coco what he liked about
00:22:14
Speaker 1: sleepy forest everything. Coco replied with a big smile. He
00:22:24
Speaker 1: told Ember about the endless sunny days in summer and
00:22:30
Speaker 1: how he would go on picnics with his family or
00:22:33
Speaker 1: play in the meadow with his friends. The snowy days
00:22:38
Speaker 1: of winter were spent building snow koalas in his garden
00:22:42
Speaker 1: with his family and enjoying mugs of hot chocolate, all
00:22:47
Speaker 1: cozy and snug inside his home. Coco described how the
00:22:54
Speaker 1: first flowers of spring covered the forest floor in a
00:22:58
Speaker 1: bright carpet of yellow, orange, and purple blossoms. Coco said,
00:23:07
Speaker 1: I really love autumn. When the leaves turned red, yellow, orange,
00:23:15
Speaker 1: and brown. It's like an artist has painted them with
00:23:20
Speaker 1: an extra special paint that's full of magic. Ember nodded
00:23:27
Speaker 1: in understanding and said she like that time of year too.
00:23:35
Speaker 1: The eagle gazed towards the bare branches of the trees
00:23:40
Speaker 1: at the side of the river. She said, excuse me,
00:23:47
Speaker 1: I won't be a moment. She stood up and flew
00:23:51
Speaker 1: away from Cocoa. She headed towards a tree and up
00:23:56
Speaker 1: to the highest branch, where a single red leaf fluttered
00:24:02
Speaker 1: in the breeze. At that very moment, the leaf became
00:24:07
Speaker 1: free and floated gently through the air. Ember was ready
00:24:14
Speaker 1: and caught the leaf in her beak. She flew back
00:24:21
Speaker 1: to Coco, put the leaf in his paw and said,
00:24:26
Speaker 1: that is for you. I think it must be the
00:24:31
Speaker 1: very last leaf in the forest. I had a feeling
00:24:35
Speaker 1: that it was going to float off the tree, and
00:24:39
Speaker 1: I wanted to catch it for you. Thank you, Coco said.
00:24:46
Speaker 1: He looked at the leaf and said it was the
00:24:50
Speaker 1: most beautiful leaf he had ever seen in his life,
00:24:54
Speaker 1: and he would keep it forever. It would remind him
00:24:59
Speaker 1: of the thank Giving day and sleepy forest, a day
00:25:03
Speaker 1: which had been made even more special because he had
00:25:08
Speaker 1: met Ember. Ember smiled at her new friend and said,
00:25:14
Speaker 1: I hope we can share our Thanksgiving celebrations every year.
00:25:22
Speaker 1: Coco nodded, I think next year we should throw a
00:25:29
Speaker 1: Thanksgiving party for you and your family. I'll ask my
00:25:34
Speaker 1: mum if we can do that. He looked at the
00:25:40
Speaker 1: sky and said it was starting to get dark and
00:25:44
Speaker 1: they should head back to the clearing. The friends walked
00:25:49
Speaker 1: away from the bridge and back towards the clearing. They
00:25:55
Speaker 1: talked about their lives along the way and made plans
00:25:59
Speaker 1: to have some adventure together very soon. When Coco and
00:26:05
Speaker 1: Ember arrived back at the clearing, everyone was sitting around
00:26:11
Speaker 1: a small fire. The orange and red flames of the
00:26:16
Speaker 1: fire flickered and danced across the logs. Coco's grandma was
00:26:23
Speaker 1: sitting next to Ember's grandma. The little koala and eagle
00:26:30
Speaker 1: walked over to their grandmothers. Ember's grandma said, hello, there
00:26:38
Speaker 1: you two. Have you had a lovely walk. You've missed
00:26:43
Speaker 1: some of the dancing, but there will be more or later. Ember,
00:26:50
Speaker 1: why don't you sit next to us and tell us
00:26:53
Speaker 1: about your walk. The two grandmas shuffled up and made
00:26:59
Speaker 1: room room for Coco and Ember. The young animals sat
00:27:04
Speaker 1: down and talked about their journey through the forest and
00:27:09
Speaker 1: how they had said thank you for everything they had seen.
00:27:14
Speaker 1: The sky turned darker and darker. The first stars appeared.
00:27:23
Speaker 1: Coco yawned, so de Dember. Coco asked Martha if she
00:27:31
Speaker 1: would like to hear a bedtime story. He yawned again.
00:27:38
Speaker 1: Coco's grandma said softly, Coco, if it's okay with you,
00:27:47
Speaker 1: can I tell the story. You look like you're going
00:27:51
Speaker 1: to fall asleep at any moment. Coko said he wasn't
00:27:57
Speaker 1: at all tired. He yawned and blinked his sleepy eyes.
00:28:04
Speaker 1: He said, perhaps you can tell the first one, Grandma,
00:28:11
Speaker 1: and then I'll tell the next one. Good idea, his
00:28:16
Speaker 1: grandma said. Ko Ko snuggled up closer to his grandma.
00:28:23
Speaker 1: She put her arm around him and held Ko Ko
00:28:27
Speaker 1: in a warm embrace. Ember snuggled up to her grandma
00:28:33
Speaker 1: and was wrapped in a feathery hug. In a soft,
00:28:39
Speaker 1: soothing tone, ko Ko's grandma began to tell a bedtime story.
00:28:48
Speaker 1: One by one, the animals in the clearing stopped talking
00:28:54
Speaker 1: and listened to the dreamy tale she was telling. Tired
00:29:00
Speaker 1: yawns echoed throughout the clearing. Co Ko listened to the
00:29:08
Speaker 1: comforting voice of his grandma. He realized he was tired
00:29:15
Speaker 1: after all. Coko closed his heavy eyes. With his heart
00:29:24
Speaker 1: full of love for all the wonderful things in his life,
00:29:30
Speaker 1: the little Koala drifted off into a deep, deep sleep.
