[00:03:29] Anyway, here's a preview of this very special episode.

[00:03:40] Deep in the heart of a faraway forest stood a cosy wooden cabin.

[00:03:45] Inside the cabin lived a family of koalas.

[00:03:49] Coco and his parents.

[00:03:51] His grandparents too.

[00:03:52] And, of course, his little sister, Kira the panda.

[00:03:57] They all lived in the cabin together.

[00:03:59] But outside the cabin, and all throughout the forest, something curious was occurring.

[00:04:06] The leaves were changing colour.

[00:04:09] It happened every October, so it wasn't as if any of the creatures who lived in Sleepy Forest weren't expecting it.

[00:04:15] And yet, each year when it happened, it managed to take the forest folks by surprise.

[00:04:22] The way that one morning you woke up and poked your head outside your nest, or your cabin, or your grotto by the sleepy river.

[00:04:30] And overnight, all the leaves that had for so many months been bright green were now going golden and red and orange.

[00:04:39] As though the sun had spilt its colours all over them.

[00:04:44] Even more than usual, Coco and Kira loved to take walks through Sleepy Forest when the leaves changed colour.

[00:04:51] The way the light fell down through the golden canopy turned the ground such wonderful colours.

[00:04:58] It felt as though the whole world had undergone some magical transformation.

[00:05:04] It's like some magician has waved his wand and cast a spell over the whole forest, Kira said, gazing up in wonder.

[00:05:14] Or like the sunset has bounced around too much, replied Coco, and spilt its colours all over the trees.

[00:05:26] Kira laughed.

[00:05:28] Yes, exactly, she said.

[00:05:31] Like the sun has splish-splashed its paint everywhere.

[00:05:36] The thought gave her an idea.

[00:05:39] I wish we could see the forest from the vantage point of the sun, she said.

[00:05:46] Oh, Coco agreed.

[00:05:49] That would be amazing.

[00:05:52] The forest would look like a huge orange sea, I bet.

[00:05:57] And they both sighed whimsically, imagining what such a thing would be like.

[00:06:05] Just then there came the strangest sound.

[00:06:08] It was a kind of shimmering in the air, as though a breeze was stirring a set of delicate wind chimes,

[00:06:16] although there was no sign of any wind at all.

[00:06:19] And then, right in front of them, hovering between the thick trunks of two ancient sycamore trees,

[00:06:27] appeared a fairy.

[00:06:29] She had beautiful silvery wings, vines of ivy entangled in her hair,

[00:06:37] and she wore a tiny little dress stitched together from dark orange oak tree leaves.

[00:06:44] There were many fairies and other magical creatures,

[00:06:48] like imps and gnomes and cheeky little river sprites,

[00:06:52] who lived in sleepy forest.

[00:06:54] By now, Coco knew almost all of them,

[00:06:57] and this was one he knew best of all.

[00:07:01] Hello, fall fairy, he said, giving her a wave with his fluffy paw.

[00:07:06] How are you doing today?

[00:07:09] I'm very well, thank you, Coco, the fall fairy replied,

[00:07:15] giving a little shake of her hair.

[00:07:17] A single tiny leaf got loose and drifted down towards the ground.

[00:07:23] But with a tinkling sound, it magically disappeared before it got there.
