Speaker 1: Hello and welcome back to Koala Moon, a podcast of

00:00:14

Speaker 1: original children's bedtime stories and meditations designed to make bedtime

00:00:19

Speaker 1: a dree. To celebrate the launch of our first ever

00:00:24

Speaker 1: bonus story, we thought it perfect and fitting that our

00:00:27

Speaker 1: little Koala friend Coco is also embarking on a thrilling

00:00:31

Speaker 1: new journey into space. Let's join him as he climbs

00:00:36

Speaker 1: into his space rockets and whizzes up into the Solar

00:00:39

Speaker 1: System with his intrepid auntie Shirley. We'll hear about the

00:00:44

Speaker 1: fascinating planets they visit and the friendly aliens they meet

00:00:47

Speaker 1: along the way. During their space adventure, Coco and his

00:00:52

Speaker 1: auntie come up with a plan to help their new

00:00:55

Speaker 1: friends drift into a relaxing sleep. This is Coco's Rocket

00:01:01

Speaker 1: Adventure by Jillian Rogerson. Deep in the heart of a

00:01:11

Speaker 1: far away forest stirred a cozy wooden cabin. Inside the

00:01:16

Speaker 1: cabin lived a family of Koalas. The youngest member of

00:01:20

Speaker 1: the family was called Coco. One morning, a special visitor

00:01:26

Speaker 1: arrived at the Koala's home. It was Coco's auntie, Shirley.

00:01:31

Speaker 1: Coco loved seeing his auntie because she went on lots

00:01:34

Speaker 1: of exciting adventures and when she came to visit the family,

00:01:38

Speaker 1: she would tell Coco all about her latest one. Auntie

00:01:44

Speaker 1: Shirley's adventures included the time she had sailed down the

00:01:47

Speaker 1: Amazon River on a canoe and rescued a little crocodile

00:01:51

Speaker 1: who had got himself stuck up a tree. Auntie Shirley

00:01:55

Speaker 1: had also cycled through the mountains of Scotland and met

00:01:59

Speaker 1: the lochness Monster. Auntie Shirley told Coco that NeSSI was

00:02:03

Speaker 1: a friendly monster and they'd had a lovely cup of

00:02:06

Speaker 1: tea together. Coco's auntie had once climbed snowy mountains in

00:02:12

Speaker 1: the Himalayas. She had met a kind hearted yetti called Hugo,

00:02:17

Speaker 1: who had made the best hot chocolate Auntie Shirley had

00:02:20

Speaker 1: ever tasted. Coco thought Auntie Shirley's adventures were amazing, and

00:02:27

Speaker 1: he hoped one day he'd be able to go traveling

00:02:29

Speaker 1: with his auntie and they would have adventures together. His

00:02:34

Speaker 1: very favorite stories were about his Auntie's journeys into space.

00:02:39

Speaker 1: She had her own rocket and would often blast off

00:02:42

Speaker 1: into the sky and travel through the sparkling stars and

00:02:46

Speaker 1: land on amazing planets. She would tell Coco about the

00:02:51

Speaker 1: interesting aliens she'd met there, and the fascinating lives they lived.

00:02:57

Speaker 1: More than anything, Coco hoped that one day he too

00:03:02

Speaker 1: would get to have a rocket adventure. Coco didn't know

00:03:06

Speaker 1: it yet, but that day had arrived. When Auntie Shirley

00:03:12

Speaker 1: turned up at the Cozy cabin that morning, she was

00:03:15

Speaker 1: welcomed warmly by everyone. Co Ko's mam asked her to

00:03:20

Speaker 1: sit for a while next to the fire, and ko

00:03:23

Speaker 1: Ko's dad made Shirley a hot drink and brought her

00:03:25

Speaker 1: a slice of strawberry cake he'd made early that morning.

00:03:30

Speaker 1: Coko sat on the rug at his auntie's feet and

00:03:34

Speaker 1: waited eagerly to hear about her latest adventure. Auntie Shirley

00:03:41

Speaker 1: smiled down at the little Koala and gently ruffled the

00:03:45

Speaker 1: fur on his head, and then she said the words

00:03:50

Speaker 1: Coco had been waiting to hear for a long time. Cocoa,

00:03:57

Speaker 1: would you like to go in the rocket with me today?

00:04:01

Speaker 1: You're big enough now for an adventure into space. Coco

00:04:06

Speaker 1: blinked in surprise. He wasn't sure he'd heard his auntie correctly.

00:04:12

Speaker 1: He rubbed his ears in case they were playing tricks

00:04:15

Speaker 1: on him, and then asked Auntie Shirley to repeat her

00:04:19

Speaker 1: words please. Auntie Shirley laughed fondly and asked again if

00:04:26

Speaker 1: he'd like to go on a rocket adventure with her.

00:04:29

Speaker 1: Her rocket was part nearby and it was the perfect

00:04:32

Speaker 1: weather for taking to the skies. Coco's eyes widened. He said, really,

00:04:41

Speaker 1: I can go in the rocket with you today. Auntie

00:04:46

Speaker 1: Shirley nodded and said they would set off as soon

00:04:50

Speaker 1: as she'd finished her cake and tea. In a flash,

00:04:55

Speaker 1: little Coco was on his feet and running towards his bedroom.

00:04:59

Speaker 1: When he got there, he slowly turned round. What would

00:05:04

Speaker 1: he need to take with him? Should he take some

00:05:07

Speaker 1: toys to play with on the journey or would he

00:05:10

Speaker 1: be too busy staring out of the window at the

00:05:12

Speaker 1: twinkling stars? What should he wear? Was it hot or

00:05:18

Speaker 1: cold in space? He didn't know, so he rushed into

00:05:22

Speaker 1: the kitchen and asked his dad. His dad was delighted

00:05:27

Speaker 1: to hear Coco was going on an adventure with his

00:05:30

Speaker 1: auntie and said he would make a pat lunch for

00:05:33

Speaker 1: them both. When Ko Ko asked what he should wear,

00:05:39

Speaker 1: his dad didn't know either, and suggested he ask Auntie Shirley.

00:05:44

Speaker 1: Coco returned to his Auntie and asked her. She told

00:05:48

Speaker 1: him a T shirt and shorts would be perfect for

00:05:51

Speaker 1: the first part of the journey, but she'd had a

00:05:54

Speaker 1: special spacesuit made for Coco that would be perfect for him.

00:05:58

Speaker 1: When they left the rocket lay and floated around in space.

00:06:04

Speaker 1: We're going to float around in space, Coco said, his

00:06:10

Speaker 1: eyes wide in surprise and delight. Really, Auntie Shirley smiled

00:06:18

Speaker 1: fondly at her little nephew. Yes, really, it's great fun,

00:06:24

Speaker 1: and I know you'll love it. You don't need to

00:06:27

Speaker 1: bring anything with you because I've got everything we need

00:06:31

Speaker 1: in the rocket. There was one item Coco did want

00:06:36

Speaker 1: to bring with him, and he asked Auntie Shirley if

00:06:39

Speaker 1: there was room for his pink ukulele in the rocket.

00:06:43

Speaker 1: He learned some new songs and he wanted to play

00:06:46

Speaker 1: them for her later. Also, he'd never played his ukulele

00:06:51

Speaker 1: in space before and he wanted to know if it

00:06:55

Speaker 1: would sound different up there. Auntie Shirley agreed that Coco

00:07:01

Speaker 1: should bring his pink ukulele with him. A short while later,

00:07:06

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley and Ko Ko stood at the door of

00:07:09

Speaker 1: the cabin and said goodbye to everyone. Koko's dad had

00:07:14

Speaker 1: made a huge packed lunch that he insisted they take

00:07:18

Speaker 1: with them. Ko Ko's family told him to have a

00:07:23

Speaker 1: wonderful adventure and they wanted to hear all about it

00:07:28

Speaker 1: when he returned home later. Ko Ko promised to tell

00:07:33

Speaker 1: them everything. With his pink ukulele in one paw and

00:07:39

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley's paw in the other, co Ko left the

00:07:43

Speaker 1: cabin and headed towards the rocket. The magnificent red rocket

00:07:50

Speaker 1: was parked in the middle of a clearing behind the cabin.

00:07:55

Speaker 1: A few curious squirrels were looking at the rocket and

00:07:58

Speaker 1: wondering what it was. When Coco walked closer to it,

00:08:03

Speaker 1: they asked him about the rocket. Coco proudly told them

00:08:08

Speaker 1: all about it and how he was going to zoom

00:08:11

Speaker 1: into space with his Auntie Shirley on an adventure. The

00:08:16

Speaker 1: squirrels thought Coco was a brave Koala and said they

00:08:20

Speaker 1: would watch the rocket take off. Auntie Shirley pointed a

00:08:27

Speaker 1: remote control device at the rocket and pressed it with

00:08:32

Speaker 1: a beep. The rocket door opened and a set of

00:08:36

Speaker 1: stairs unfolded and reached the ground. Still holding paws, the

00:08:43

Speaker 1: two Koalas walked up the stairs and into the rocket.

00:08:48

Speaker 1: It was bigger than Coco was expecting, and there was

00:08:51

Speaker 1: plenty of room for his ukulele and the enormous basket

00:08:55

Speaker 1: of food his dad had given them. Auntie Shirley closed

00:08:59

Speaker 1: the door and helped Ko Ko to settle into his seat.

00:09:04

Speaker 1: Once he was firmly secured, his auntie climbed into her

00:09:08

Speaker 1: seat and asked Ko Ko if he was ready. Ko

00:09:13

Speaker 1: Ko was too excited to speak and could only nod.

00:09:19

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley pressed some buttons, and a cloud of steam

00:09:23

Speaker 1: rose from the rocket's engine and drifted upwards. Ko Ko

00:09:28

Speaker 1: watched it through his window. His auntie pointed to a

00:09:33

Speaker 1: red button on the control panel and told Ko Ko

00:09:37

Speaker 1: to press it. Ko Ko put his little paw on

00:09:41

Speaker 1: the button and grinned as he firmly pressed it. They

00:09:46

Speaker 1: began to count down to lift off. Five four, three,

00:09:57

Speaker 1: two one off. They went up, up and away into space.

00:10:07

Speaker 1: Ko Ko looked out of the window and saw the

00:10:09

Speaker 1: squirrels waving at him. He waved back. Looking further along,

00:10:16

Speaker 1: he spotted his family standing on the porch of the cabin.

00:10:20

Speaker 1: They were waving enthusiastically. Ko Ko waved back and smiled

00:10:25

Speaker 1: at them. The rocket zoomed upwards, Ko Ko gazed out

00:10:32

Speaker 1: of the window in wonder. Below him, he saw the

00:10:36

Speaker 1: leafy tops of the trees and the green valleys. In

00:10:41

Speaker 1: the far distance, he noticed tall mountains covered in snow.

00:10:47

Speaker 1: Very soon they were flying high above the mountains. They

00:10:52

Speaker 1: continued zooming upwards into the dark sky. Auntie Shirley steered

00:10:59

Speaker 1: the rocket through sparkling stars and around planets. Shooting stars

00:11:06

Speaker 1: and orange comets zipped through the sky. Clusters of stars

00:11:12

Speaker 1: twinkled and sparkled like diamonds on a bed of black velvet.

00:11:19

Speaker 1: Coco gazed at it all in complete wonder. Everything was

00:11:25

Speaker 1: so beautiful and magical. Auntie Shirley tapped some buttons on

00:11:31

Speaker 1: the control panel. The rocket came to a stop and

00:11:37

Speaker 1: hovered gently in the sky like a floating balloon. Auntie

00:11:43

Speaker 1: Shirley told Coco it was time to explore space a

00:11:47

Speaker 1: little closer. She helped him out of his seat and

00:11:52

Speaker 1: into his cozy spacesuit. Auntie Shirley put her spacesuit on too.

00:12:00

Speaker 1: She opened a door, took Ko Ko's paw in hers,

00:12:05

Speaker 1: and together they walked through the door and into space.

00:12:12

Speaker 1: Ko Ko floated at his Auntie's side as they drifted

00:12:16

Speaker 1: amongst the stars. He felt as light as a feather

00:12:21

Speaker 1: and smiled in pure joy. In the distance, he saw

00:12:27

Speaker 1: a blue and purple planet that had two white rings

00:12:31

Speaker 1: around it. To his other side, he noticed a huge

00:12:36

Speaker 1: pink planet that was circled by a band of dark

00:12:40

Speaker 1: pink mist. Ko Ko closed his eyes dreamily and drifted

00:12:47

Speaker 1: along in the sky. Floating in space was even more

00:12:53

Speaker 1: magical than he could ever have imagined. He felt so

00:12:58

Speaker 1: carefree and happy as he glided along. After a while,

00:13:04

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley guided him back to the rocket. Once inside,

00:13:10

Speaker 1: she asked co Ko if he would like to land

00:13:13

Speaker 1: on some of the planets and meet the aliens who

00:13:16

Speaker 1: lived there. Coco said he would like that very much.

00:13:23

Speaker 1: Just when he thought his rocket adventure couldn't get any

00:13:27

Speaker 1: more magical, Auntie Shirley told co Ko he could fly

00:13:32

Speaker 1: the rocket for a while. She said it wasn't difficult

00:13:36

Speaker 1: and she would help him. Once Coko was secured in

00:13:40

Speaker 1: the driving seat, he took the controls in his paws.

00:13:46

Speaker 1: He listened carefully to Auntie Shirley as she gave him instructions,

00:13:51

Speaker 1: and then the little Koala began to fly the rocket

00:13:57

Speaker 1: all on his own. His little half filled with joy,

00:14:03

Speaker 1: and he felt like a brave adventurer, just like his auntie.

00:14:08

Speaker 1: Onwards they flew, Auntie Shirley asked Coco which planet he

00:14:14

Speaker 1: would like to visit. Coco looked through the window and

00:14:19

Speaker 1: spotted a green planet further along. The planet was wobbling

00:14:25

Speaker 1: like a jelly. He pointed to the green planet and

00:14:29

Speaker 1: told his auntie he'd like to go to that one.

00:14:34

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley guided Coco towards the planet and helped him

00:14:39

Speaker 1: land the rocket on its green surface. When they stepped

00:14:44

Speaker 1: out of the rocket and onto the ground, they discovered

00:14:48

Speaker 1: the planet was made completely out of jelly. They grinned

00:14:53

Speaker 1: at each other and bounced up and down. Coco bounced

00:14:58

Speaker 1: so much that he fell backward, but it was a

00:15:01

Speaker 1: soft landing and he bounced right back up again. The

00:15:06

Speaker 1: friendly aliens who lived on the planet jumped out of

00:15:10

Speaker 1: holes in the ground. They were made of jelly too,

00:15:14

Speaker 1: and were in a variety of bright colors. Some had

00:15:19

Speaker 1: big orange jelly shoes on their feet, and others were

00:15:23

Speaker 1: wearing bow ties made out of yellow jelly. They bounced

00:15:29

Speaker 1: towards Cocoa and Auntie Shirley and introduced themselves. They were

00:15:35

Speaker 1: the Wibblewobbles, and the green planet was their home. Auntie

00:15:40

Speaker 1: Shirley pointed into the dark sky and said they'd come

00:15:45

Speaker 1: from a place called Sleepy Forest, which was far far away.

00:15:51

Speaker 1: The Wibblewobbles showed their visitors around their planet. Everyone bounced

00:15:58

Speaker 1: up and down like they were on an enormous bouncy castle.

00:16:03

Speaker 1: The Wibblewobbles were very friendly and laughed a lot, and

00:16:08

Speaker 1: when they laughed, their tummies jiggled and joggled so much

00:16:13

Speaker 1: that they made Coco and his auntie laughed too. At

00:16:18

Speaker 1: one point, Coco laughed so much that he fell over

00:16:23

Speaker 1: and bounced right away over a small hill. Everyone chased

00:16:28

Speaker 1: after him and caught the little koala before he bounced

00:16:33

Speaker 1: all the way around the planet. Coco loved jumping up

00:16:39

Speaker 1: and down, but he soon began to grow tired, and

00:16:43

Speaker 1: he thought he could do with a little nap. He

00:16:47

Speaker 1: asked the Wibblewobbles where they slept at night time, and

00:16:51

Speaker 1: if he could go there to have a nap. One

00:16:55

Speaker 1: of the Wibblewobbles said they didn't have a special place

00:16:58

Speaker 1: to sleep, and sometimes they forgot to rest because they

00:17:03

Speaker 1: were having so much fun bouncing. But a nap sounded

00:17:08

Speaker 1: like a good idea, as they knew it would help

00:17:11

Speaker 1: them feel more energetic later. Coco said he loved sleeping

00:17:18

Speaker 1: and getting all snug and cozy in his bed. He

00:17:23

Speaker 1: had a bedtime story every night, and sometimes his Grandpa

00:17:27

Speaker 1: would play Coco a lullaby on his ukulele. The Wibblewobbles

00:17:34

Speaker 1: said they didn't know what a bedtime story was or

00:17:38

Speaker 1: a ukulele, but they sounded lovely and perhaps those things

00:17:43

Speaker 1: would help them to fall asleep at night. Koko said,

00:17:50

Speaker 1: I can play my ukulele for you later if you like.

00:17:55

Speaker 1: He looked at Auntie Shirley and asked if she would

00:17:58

Speaker 1: tell their new friends a bedtime story later too. Auntie

00:18:04

Speaker 1: Shirley said she would love to do that, and she

00:18:08

Speaker 1: knew plenty of stories from her adventures around the world.

00:18:14

Speaker 1: The Koalas stayed a little longer with the Wibblewobbles and

00:18:19

Speaker 1: then said goodbye. They promised to come back later and

00:18:24

Speaker 1: Ko Ko would play a lullaby on his ukulele and

00:18:27

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley would tell them a bedtime story. Coko and

00:18:34

Speaker 1: his auntie bounced back to the rocket and went inside.

00:18:40

Speaker 1: Ko Ko thought that even though it was fun, to

00:18:43

Speaker 1: jump up and down. It was also good to sit

00:18:47

Speaker 1: down and have a rest. He settled down in his

00:18:51

Speaker 1: seat and yawned. Auntie Shirley asked where he wanted to

00:18:57

Speaker 1: go next. Pointed to a sparkling white planet far away

00:19:05

Speaker 1: and asked if they could go there. He yawned again.

00:19:10

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley said she would fly the rocket so that

00:19:14

Speaker 1: Coco could have a little nap. Coco closed his eyes

00:19:20

Speaker 1: and drifted into a RESTful sleep. When he opened his

00:19:26

Speaker 1: eyes a short time later, he looked out of the

00:19:30

Speaker 1: window and saw they had landed on the sparkling white planet.

00:19:36

Speaker 1: He asked Auntie Shirley if it was made out of snow.

00:19:41

Speaker 1: She smiled and said it was better than snow. She'd

00:19:46

Speaker 1: been to this planet before, and it was made of icing. Icing.

00:19:53

Speaker 1: Coco asked, like the icing you get on cakes and cookies.

00:20:00

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley nodded and told him the frosting fairies lived

00:20:05

Speaker 1: on the planet and they were always pleased to see visitors.

00:20:11

Speaker 1: She reached into a cupboard behind them and took out

00:20:15

Speaker 1: two pairs of boots. She handed a pair to Coco

00:20:20

Speaker 1: and asked him to put them on the surface of

00:20:25

Speaker 1: the planet was very sticky, and the boots would stop

00:20:29

Speaker 1: them from getting stuck in the icing. Co Ko pulled

00:20:34

Speaker 1: on the boots and walked with his auntie towards the

00:20:38

Speaker 1: open door. As they went down the ladder, they were

00:20:43

Speaker 1: met by a group of flying fairies who were no

00:20:47

Speaker 1: bigger than Coco's paw. Their pale blue wings shimmered and glimmered.

00:20:56

Speaker 1: They had tiny silver boots on their feet that looked

00:20:59

Speaker 1: so similar to the ones Cocoa and his auntie were wearing.

00:21:05

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley waved to the fairies and said it was

00:21:09

Speaker 1: good to see them again. She introduced co Ko and

00:21:13

Speaker 1: told them where he lived. The friendly fairies fluttered around

00:21:19

Speaker 1: Coco and smiled kindly at him. They asked Coko if

00:21:25

Speaker 1: he would like to explore their planet. He said he

00:21:28

Speaker 1: would like that very much. Coco carefully stepped onto the

00:21:35

Speaker 1: white surface of the planet. It was soft beneath his boots.

00:21:41

Speaker 1: He looked closer at the ground and noticed how it

00:21:45

Speaker 1: twinkled and sparkled, like a thousand stars had been sprinkled there.

00:21:53

Speaker 1: The frosting fairies showed Coco and his auntie around their

00:21:58

Speaker 1: beautiful home. They took them towards an orchard that was

00:22:04

Speaker 1: made out of brown and green icing. Red apples hung

00:22:09

Speaker 1: low from the branches. One of the fairies told Cocoa

00:22:15

Speaker 1: he could eat the apples because they were made of

00:22:18

Speaker 1: cake and icing. They offered to pack some so he

00:22:23

Speaker 1: could take the apples back to the rocket later. The

00:22:29

Speaker 1: apples weren't the only items on the sparkling white planet

00:22:34

Speaker 1: that could be eaten. The fairies loved making things out

00:22:39

Speaker 1: of icing, and led Cocoa through a field of edible

00:22:43

Speaker 1: flowers and grass. They picked a selection and put them

00:22:48

Speaker 1: in a bag for Cocoa and his auntie. The fairies

00:22:54

Speaker 1: led their visitors to a cave where brightly colored strings

00:22:59

Speaker 1: of crystal festooned the walls like tinsel on a Christmas tree.

00:23:05

Speaker 1: Coco was told he could eat those too. More treats followed,

00:23:12

Speaker 1: and the two koalas were given many gifts, including edible necklaces, scarves,

00:23:20

Speaker 1: and shoelaces. The fairies told Coco they loved making things

00:23:28

Speaker 1: to eat, and sometimes they stayed up late into the

00:23:32

Speaker 1: night thinking of new things to create. The thought of

00:23:38

Speaker 1: staying up late made Cocoa yawn. He said he couldn't

00:23:43

Speaker 1: do that because he loved getting into his cozy bed

00:23:48

Speaker 1: and snuggling down for the night, and sometimes, if he

00:23:53

Speaker 1: was really tired, he would go to bed early. But

00:23:58

Speaker 1: no matter what time he went to bed, he always

00:24:01

Speaker 1: listened to a bedtime story because it helped him fall asleep.

00:24:07

Speaker 1: The frosting fairies didn't know what a bedtime story was, so,

00:24:13

Speaker 1: just like before, Coco asked his auntie if she would

00:24:18

Speaker 1: read the fairies a story. Later. She said yes and

00:24:23

Speaker 1: told Coko he should play his ukulele too. The Koalas

00:24:32

Speaker 1: stayed a little longer with the fairies and then headed

00:24:36

Speaker 1: back to the rocket. They had lots of gifts to

00:24:40

Speaker 1: carry and thanked the fairies for their kindness. Coco and

00:24:46

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley said goodbye and promised to return later with

00:24:51

Speaker 1: a bedtime story and a lullaby. They climbed into the

00:24:57

Speaker 1: rocket and carefully put their g gifts of icing away.

00:25:03

Speaker 1: They agreed to share the gifts with Coco's neighbors and

00:25:06

Speaker 1: friends when they returned to Sleepy Forest. They continued their

00:25:12

Speaker 1: journey through space and visited more planets. They landed on

00:25:18

Speaker 1: a rocky planet where dragons lived. The dragons loved flying

00:25:24

Speaker 1: around the planet all day long, and sometimes they were

00:25:29

Speaker 1: having so much fun they forgot to sleep. When Coco

00:25:35

Speaker 1: explained about his bedtime routine, they said they would love

00:25:40

Speaker 1: to hear a bedtime story and a lulla by two,

00:25:44

Speaker 1: as it might help them settle into sleep, just like Coco.

00:25:51

Speaker 1: After they'd been to the Rocky planet, Coco and his

00:25:55

Speaker 1: auntie stopped at a planet where enormous fruit grew. Some

00:26:02

Speaker 1: of the fruit had been made into an adventure playground,

00:26:06

Speaker 1: and Coco had a wonderful time sliding down a huge

00:26:11

Speaker 1: banana and then climbing up a gigantic pineapple. Once again,

00:26:20

Speaker 1: the aliens who lived on the fruit planet hadn't heard

00:26:24

Speaker 1: about bedtime stories and lullabies, and Coco and his auntie

00:26:30

Speaker 1: promised to return later and help the aliens with their

00:26:34

Speaker 1: nighttime routine. When they'd visited enough places, Coco asked his

00:26:42

Speaker 1: auntie if it was time to return to the first

00:26:45

Speaker 1: planet and tell the Wibblewobbles a bedtime story. He frowned

00:26:51

Speaker 1: a little as he thought about the other planets they

00:26:55

Speaker 1: needed to revisit too. It was going to take them

00:26:59

Speaker 1: a long time time to go back to all of them.

00:27:04

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley looked at his concerned face and knew what

00:27:09

Speaker 1: he was thinking. She told him she had a plan.

00:27:16

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley put the rocket on autopilot. She took Coco

00:27:22

Speaker 1: to the back of the rocket and showed him a

00:27:25

Speaker 1: recording machine. She explained there was a loud speaker on

00:27:31

Speaker 1: the outside of the rocket that was attached to the

00:27:34

Speaker 1: recording machine. Auntie Shirley told Coco he could play his

00:27:41

Speaker 1: ukulele into the machine and his lullaby could then be

00:27:45

Speaker 1: broadcast to all the planets nearby. She could record a

00:27:52

Speaker 1: bedtime story into it too, and instead of returning to

00:27:57

Speaker 1: all the planets they had visited landing on them, they

00:28:01

Speaker 1: could fly near the planets and play their music and

00:28:05

Speaker 1: words to the aliens below, like a radio, Coko asked.

00:28:14

Speaker 1: Auntie Shirley nodded and said, yes, like a radio. Shall

00:28:20

Speaker 1: we give it a goat his Auntie pressed a button

00:28:26

Speaker 1: on the recorder and nodded at him. Ko Ko thought

00:28:32

Speaker 1: about which tune to play. His grandpa had taught him

00:28:38

Speaker 1: a lovely lullaby recently, and when he'd first heard it,

00:28:43

Speaker 1: Coko had fallen asleep straight away. Coco smiled it would

00:28:50

Speaker 1: be the perfect tune to play for his new friends.

00:28:56

Speaker 1: Ko Ko put his pour on the strings and gently

00:29:00

Speaker 1: plucked them. A soothing lullaby drifted from the pink ukulele

00:29:08

Speaker 1: and was captured on the recording machine. Once he'd finished

00:29:14

Speaker 1: playing his ukulele, Auntie Shirley sat next to the machine

00:29:21

Speaker 1: and recorded a calming bedtime story. Her voice was so

00:29:27

Speaker 1: soft and warm that Coco nearly fell asleep. Once both

00:29:34

Speaker 1: recordings were finished, the Koalas returned to the front of

00:29:39

Speaker 1: the rocket and sat down. Coco's eyes began to grow heavy.

00:29:47

Speaker 1: He was feeling sleepy. Auntie Shirley slowly flew the rocket

00:29:55

Speaker 1: over the planets they had visited earlier, ures a button

00:30:00

Speaker 1: for the recording machine, and a second later, the sound

00:30:06

Speaker 1: of Coco's ukulele filled the starlit sky with its rest

00:30:12

Speaker 1: for rhythm. When the lullaby came to an end, the

00:30:18

Speaker 1: calming sound of Auntie Shirley's voice took over, and her

00:30:23

Speaker 1: soft words drifted through the air. The aliens on the

00:30:31

Speaker 1: planets below stopped what they were doing and smiled gently

00:30:37

Speaker 1: as they heard the relaxing sounds. Peace flowed through them,

00:30:44

Speaker 1: and some of them yawned. The lullaby coming from the

00:30:50

Speaker 1: ukulele was soothing, and Auntie Shirley's voice was warm and comforting.

00:30:59

Speaker 1: It wasn't long before all the aliens drifted into a deep,

00:31:04

Speaker 1: RESTful sleep. The aliens weren't the only ones who had

00:31:12

Speaker 1: fallen asleep. Little Coco was asleep too, snuggled up in

00:31:18

Speaker 1: his chair. Auntie Shirley smiled softly at her nephew. She

00:31:26

Speaker 1: let out a little yawn too. Having a rocket adventure

00:31:32

Speaker 1: was fun, but it was also tiring. She flew the

00:31:37

Speaker 1: rocket over a few more planets and let the soothing

00:31:42

Speaker 1: sounds of the ukulele and her voice float down to

00:31:47

Speaker 1: the planets below. Then she turned the rocket around and

00:31:55

Speaker 1: headed back to sleepy Forest. Did the rocket outside the

00:32:02

Speaker 1: Koala's cabin, scooped the sleeping Coco into her arms, and

00:32:09

Speaker 1: walked down the steps of the rocket. Auntie Shirley went

00:32:15

Speaker 1: into the cabin and placed Coco into his soft, cozy bed.

00:32:22

Speaker 1: She gently kissed him good night. Coco didn't stir from

00:32:27

Speaker 1: his slumber. He was fast asleep and having a wonderful

00:32:34

Speaker 1: dream about floating amongst the sparkling stars in space.
