Speaker 1: make the most wonderful mrcat. I can't wait for you
00:00:49

00:00:53
Speaker 1: traveled to a snowy forest and reunite with a young
00:00:57
Speaker 1: yetti called Littlefoot. We last Littlefoot back in episode forty
00:01:02

00:01:38
Speaker 1: eight one and begin your story. We hope you like it.
00:01:42
Speaker 1: So here we are with Littlefoot, and he is having
00:01:46
Speaker 1: one of those days. You know, those days when you've
00:01:51
Speaker 1: got oodles and oodles of thoughts swirling inside your head
00:01:55
Speaker 1: and you just don't know how to slow them down.
00:01:59
Speaker 1: Well wisely, Littlefoot's mum suggests he goes on a mindful
00:02:04
Speaker 1: walk in the snow, saying it will help him to
00:02:07
Speaker 1: relax and then his busy thoughts will settle down. Snuggle
00:02:13
Speaker 1: on down, and let's join Littlefoot as he goes on
00:02:16
Speaker 1: a peaceful walk through a beautiful snow covered forest. And
00:02:21
Speaker 1: here whether his mum's idea works and whether his thoughts
00:02:26
Speaker 1: really do begin to gently melt away. This is Littlefoot's
00:02:32
Speaker 1: Mindful Walk by Gillian Rogerson. Littlefoot is a young yetty
00:02:45
Speaker 1: with soft gray fur and light brown eyes. He lives
00:02:49
Speaker 1: in the mountains with his family. It's a snowy afternoon
00:02:53
Speaker 1: in the mountains and Littlefoot is sitting on the rug
00:02:57
Speaker 1: in his bedroom and looking at his toys, he sighs
00:03:01
Speaker 1: and shakes his head at them. He can't decide which
00:03:05
Speaker 1: toys to play with. Should he build something with the
00:03:08
Speaker 1: toy blocks or read one of his favorite books, or
00:03:12
Speaker 1: should he play with the jigsaw puzzles. He looks at
00:03:15
Speaker 1: his bed. All this thinking is making him tired. Perhaps
00:03:21
Speaker 1: he should have a little nap or have something to eat,
00:03:25
Speaker 1: Maybe he needs a drink of water. His thoughts swirl
00:03:29
Speaker 1: and whirl inside his head, and his sighs again. His
00:03:35
Speaker 1: mom walks past his room and hears him sigh. She
00:03:39
Speaker 1: pops her head round the door and asks if something
00:03:41
Speaker 1: is wrong. Littlefoot's face scrunches up and he says, I
00:03:48
Speaker 1: don't know what to do with myself. I don't know
00:03:52
Speaker 1: if I want to play with my toys, or if
00:03:54
Speaker 1: I want to have a nap, or if I want
00:03:57
Speaker 1: something to eat or drink. I've got too many any
00:04:00
Speaker 1: thoughts in my head and it won't keep still. He
00:04:04
Speaker 1: goes over to his bedside table and picks up the
00:04:07
Speaker 1: snow globe that his best friend, Snowbell, had given him.
00:04:12
Speaker 1: He gives it a good shake and the glitter inside
00:04:15
Speaker 1: whirls and twirls inside the globe. Littlefoot holds the globe
00:04:21
Speaker 1: up and says to his mum, this is what my
00:04:25
Speaker 1: thoughts feel like, and they just will not settle down.
00:04:31
Speaker 1: His mum enters the room and puts her arm around
00:04:34
Speaker 1: his shoulders. She says, I know exactly how you feel.
00:04:40
Speaker 1: I often feel like that, but my thoughts do settle
00:04:44
Speaker 1: down Eventually. They watch the swirling glitter inside the globe
00:04:50
Speaker 1: as it slows down and drifts downwards, where it gently
00:04:55
Speaker 1: settles on the snowy ground. Littlefoot looks up at his
00:04:59
Speaker 1: mum and asks how he can get his thoughts to
00:05:02
Speaker 1: settle down. You shall go for a walk. His mum replies,
00:05:09
Speaker 1: that's what I do. I love going for a long walk,
00:05:13
Speaker 1: especially in the snow. I walk along slowly and stop
00:05:18
Speaker 1: now and again to take some deep breaths. I always
00:05:22
Speaker 1: feel calmer and much more relaxed afterwards, and my thoughts
00:05:27
Speaker 1: are no longer running around my head. Littlefort says he
00:05:32
Speaker 1: isn't sure how a walk in the snow would help him.
00:05:36
Speaker 1: His mum smiles and explains, you should go on a
00:05:41
Speaker 1: special kind of walk, a mindful walk where you look
00:05:46
Speaker 1: at the world as if seeing it for the very
00:05:49
Speaker 1: first time. Look carefully at the snow on the trees
00:05:54
Speaker 1: and the clouds in the sky, and really notice the
00:05:58
Speaker 1: beauty in them. The little yetty still isn't convinced, but
00:06:05
Speaker 1: his mumm is always right about absolutely everything, so he says, yes,
00:06:10
Speaker 1: he will go out for a mindful walk. He puts
00:06:15
Speaker 1: the snow globe down and leaves the room with his mum.
00:06:19
Speaker 1: She walks into the front door of their cave and
00:06:22
Speaker 1: tells him to have a wonderful walk. She says, don't
00:06:27
Speaker 1: forget to stop and take some deep breaths. The snowflakes
00:06:33
Speaker 1: have stopped falling and the forest is covered in a
00:06:37
Speaker 1: thick white blanket of shimmering snow. Littlefoot waves to his
00:06:44
Speaker 1: mum and sets off along the mountain path. He glances
00:06:50
Speaker 1: at the trees ahead. They look the same as they
00:06:54
Speaker 1: always do. He looks up at the sky. Yep, the
00:06:59
Speaker 1: clouds looked just the same as they always do too.
00:07:03
Speaker 1: He looks over his shoulder at his mum, who is
00:07:06
Speaker 1: still standing at the doorway, and calls out, it's not working. Mum.
00:07:13
Speaker 1: My thoughts are still whirling around inside my head and
00:07:18
Speaker 1: the trees don't look any different. She tells him to
00:07:23
Speaker 1: give it more time and to carry on walking. Littlefoot
00:07:29
Speaker 1: nods and gives her another wave. He walks along the
00:07:33
Speaker 1: snow covered path and looks down at the glistening snow
00:07:37
Speaker 1: beneath his feet. Hmm. He's never noticed before how much
00:07:44
Speaker 1: it glimmers and shimmers in the sunlight. It reminds him
00:07:49
Speaker 1: of the glitter he uses on his paintings. Sometimes the
00:07:54
Speaker 1: little yetti's footsteps slow down, and he notices how the
00:08:00
Speaker 1: snow feels under his feet. It's like a soft, chilly carpet.
00:08:07
Speaker 1: It's freshly fallen snow, and Littlefoot knows it is always
00:08:11
Speaker 1: the softest kind. Sometimes the snow changes overnight and becomes crunchy.
00:08:19
Speaker 1: It's always fun to walk on crunchy snow and hear
00:08:22
Speaker 1: the crunch echoing through the forest. Little Foot stops walking
00:08:28
Speaker 1: and takes some deep, relaxing breaths. He breathes in and out,
00:08:38
Speaker 1: in and out. He blows out his breath and it
00:08:44
Speaker 1: turns into a small, foggy cloud in front of him.
00:08:51
Speaker 1: He watches the misty cloud floating and drifting through the air.
00:08:57
Speaker 1: The cloud slowly dissolves until nothing is left of it.
00:09:04
Speaker 1: A gentle smile settles on Littlefoot's face. And some of
00:09:09
Speaker 1: his busy thoughts melt away as easily as his misty
00:09:13
Speaker 1: cloud of breath did. He looks down at the snow again.
00:09:19
Speaker 1: A happy thought floats into his mind, and he remembers
00:09:23
Speaker 1: the day he met his lovely friend snow Bell. It
00:09:27
Speaker 1: had been a snowy day like this one, and he
00:09:30
Speaker 1: had shown Snowbell how his footprints could magically disappear. It
00:09:36
Speaker 1: was just something yeties could do. Littlefoot presses one foot
00:09:42
Speaker 1: down into the soft snow and then lifts it up.
00:09:47
Speaker 1: He balances on one leg and watches his footprints slowly
00:09:52
Speaker 1: disappear until the snow is completely blank again. It is
00:09:57
Speaker 1: peaceful to watch, so he does it again and again.
00:10:02
Speaker 1: He takes turns with his feet so that he doesn't
00:10:05
Speaker 1: get too wobbly, standing on just one of them. With
00:10:10
Speaker 1: each vanishing footprint, he imagines the whirling thoughts inside his
00:10:15
Speaker 1: head vanishing too, one after the other, slowly fading away
00:10:23
Speaker 1: and leaving his mind as blank as the glistening snow.
00:10:28
Speaker 1: His mind becomes clearer and clearer. Peacefulness flows through the
00:10:35
Speaker 1: little yette, and he slowly lets out a happy sigh.
00:10:41
Speaker 1: A little cloud of breath floats free from him and
00:10:46
Speaker 1: drifts away. Littlefoot carries on, walking along the path and
00:10:53
Speaker 1: down the mountain. He nears the forest and strolls through it.
00:10:59
Speaker 1: It is quiet and calm. The fresh forest air is
00:11:05
Speaker 1: delightfully chilly and refreshing. He glances at the sky again
00:11:12
Speaker 1: and sees some snow clouds far away on the horizon.
00:11:18
Speaker 1: They are heading towards the forest, and there will be
00:11:22
Speaker 1: another fall of snow soon. Littlefoot loves being outside when
00:11:28
Speaker 1: it's snowing and watching the flakes flutter down to the ground. Onwards.
00:11:35
Speaker 1: Littlefoot walks through the glittering, shimmering snow behind him. His
00:11:43
Speaker 1: footsteps slowly melt away until they completely disappear. Littlefoot slows
00:11:51
Speaker 1: down and takes the closer look at the surrounding trees.
00:11:56
Speaker 1: He notices that no two trees are the Some have
00:12:02
Speaker 1: branches that reach towards the sky, as though trying to
00:12:06
Speaker 1: catch a cloud. Others are smaller, and their heavy snow
00:12:12
Speaker 1: covered branches brush the ground. Each beautiful tree is covered
00:12:21
Speaker 1: in thick layers of snow. They look like they are
00:12:25
Speaker 1: wearing coats made out of snow. Littlefoot chuckles and thinks
00:12:32
Speaker 1: how funny it would be if the trees wore wooly
00:12:35
Speaker 1: hats like snowbell did. Sometimes some of the trees had
00:12:41
Speaker 1: lost their leaves during the autumn, but others, like the
00:12:45
Speaker 1: pine trees in front of him, kept their fragrant needles
00:12:49
Speaker 1: all year long. Littlefoot moves over to the pine tree
00:12:56
Speaker 1: and brushes some snow off one of its branches until
00:13:00
Speaker 1: he sees the vibrant green of the needles. The RESTful
00:13:06
Speaker 1: scent of pine drifts towards the yetty. It is such
00:13:12
Speaker 1: a lovely smell and fills Littlefoot with a feeling of calmness.
00:13:20
Speaker 1: Littlefoot takes some de relaxing breath. He breathes in and out,
00:13:31
Speaker 1: in and out. He blows out his breath, and once again,
00:13:38
Speaker 1: it turns into a foggy cloud in front of him.
00:13:43
Speaker 1: He watches the misty cloud floating and drifting through the air.
00:13:49
Speaker 1: The cloud slowly dissolves until nothing is left of it.
00:13:56
Speaker 1: Littlefoot smiles softly. The sun moves closer to the horizon.
00:14:03
Speaker 1: The last of its rays flow through gaps in the
00:14:07
Speaker 1: branches and send dancing beams of light across the snowy ground,
00:14:13
Speaker 1: making it glimmer and shimmer even more. The snow covered
00:14:20
Speaker 1: trees look so magical and enchanting that Littleford can't look
00:14:26
Speaker 1: away from them. It's like he's never seen them properly before.
00:14:32
Speaker 1: He scoops from snow from the branch and lets it
00:14:35
Speaker 1: fall slowly through his open fingers. The snow glints brightly
00:14:42
Speaker 1: as it drifts to the ground. It's so very relaxing
00:14:47
Speaker 1: to watch, and more peacefulness flows through the little yetty.
00:14:58
Speaker 1: When his hand is empty of Littlefoot places his palm
00:15:03
Speaker 1: against his cheek. It is cold from the snow and
00:15:08
Speaker 1: feels good against his skin. A soft tune comes from
00:15:14
Speaker 1: somewhere within the snowy branches above him. He raises his
00:15:20
Speaker 1: head and sees a robin sitting high up in the tree.
00:15:26
Speaker 1: She is singing a soothing tune, and the lovely sound
00:15:31
Speaker 1: is carried on a gentle breeze throughout the forest. Littlefoot
00:15:37
Speaker 1: hums along to the tune and sways slowly from side
00:15:43
Speaker 1: to side. The robin finishes her song and looks down
00:15:50
Speaker 1: at the yetty. She gives him a cheery goodbye and
00:15:55
Speaker 1: flies away. Littlefoot carries on walking through the forest. He
00:16:04
Speaker 1: gently brushes against a low hedge, and a cloud of
00:16:09
Speaker 1: snow floats from it. It rises for a few moments
00:16:15
Speaker 1: and then drifts down to the ground and makes a
00:16:19
Speaker 1: series of tiny snowy hills. The fresh forest air is
00:16:26
Speaker 1: delightfully chilly and refreshing. The fluffy snow clouds move across
00:16:32
Speaker 1: the sky, the promise of snow held gently within them.
00:16:39
Speaker 1: Littlefoot lets out some more deep breaths and creates further frosty,
00:16:45
Speaker 1: foggy clouds. He watches them float away on the winter air.
00:16:52
Speaker 1: The little yetty walks on through the snowy trees, his
00:16:58
Speaker 1: footprints melting away behind him. He sees a bushy tailed
00:17:05
Speaker 1: squirrel scampering through the snow looking for something. She finds
00:17:11
Speaker 1: some half hidden chestnuts in the snow. She stops and
00:17:16
Speaker 1: scoops the snow away, and soon reveals the nutty treasure.
00:17:22
Speaker 1: The dark brown color of the chestnuts glows like burnished
00:17:26
Speaker 1: gold in the setting light of the sun. The squirrel
00:17:31
Speaker 1: picks up an impressive amount of chestnuts in her little
00:17:34
Speaker 1: paws and runs away with them. Littlefoot watches her climb
00:17:40
Speaker 1: a tree, and then she disappears into a hollowed out hole.
00:17:47
Speaker 1: He imagines her settling down inside the tree, all snug
00:17:52
Speaker 1: and cozy in her home, and enjoying her feast of chestnuts.
00:17:59
Speaker 1: Littlefoot walks on through the silent forest. He soon comes
00:18:04
Speaker 1: to a gently flowing river. The water is crystal clear,
00:18:10
Speaker 1: and Littlefoot gazes softly at the small shiny pebbles on
00:18:15
Speaker 1: the riverbed. Orange fish dart in and out of the
00:18:21
Speaker 1: pebbles in a game only known to them. Patches of
00:18:26
Speaker 1: ice float along the surface of the river and look
00:18:31
Speaker 1: like tiny icebergs gliding along. A small lotter bobs up
00:18:37
Speaker 1: from the river, smiles at the yetty, and then sinks
00:18:41
Speaker 1: beneath the surface. Again. Littlefoot walks at the side of
00:18:47
Speaker 1: the river, his feet sinking into the soft snow. He
00:18:55
Speaker 1: arrives at a small waterfall further upstream and notices that
00:19:02
Speaker 1: sections of the water have frozen in mid flow and
00:19:06
Speaker 1: have become still. The sun glints off the shiny surface
00:19:12
Speaker 1: of the frozen ice, and Littlefort catches a glimpse of
00:19:16
Speaker 1: his reflected face in it. He waves to himself. The
00:19:22
Speaker 1: moving water beneath the frozen ice trickles into the river below,
00:19:29
Speaker 1: creating a soft, soothing sound, a musical melody of winter water.
00:19:38
Speaker 1: The calming sound of the slowly flowing river makes Littlefort
00:19:44
Speaker 1: relax more and more. The air is still and hushed.
00:19:52
Speaker 1: The soothing feeling of calm wraps softly around the young,
00:19:58
Speaker 1: yetty like a wintry hug. A distant thought floats into
00:20:06
Speaker 1: Littlefoot's mind, something to do with his toys at home,
00:20:11
Speaker 1: but just as quickly the thought floats away, like his
00:20:16
Speaker 1: breath did on the wind. He takes a lingering look
00:20:22
Speaker 1: at the soothing sight of the waterfall and carries on
00:20:26
Speaker 1: walking through the soft, glistening snow. He goes, his footprints
00:20:33
Speaker 1: still melting away behind him as a flash of red
00:20:39
Speaker 1: on the path ahead of him, and Littleford sees a
00:20:43
Speaker 1: fox with fur the color of autumn leaves. The fox
00:20:49
Speaker 1: stops on the path and looks at Littleford. Her eyes
00:20:54
Speaker 1: are full of kindness, and a gentle smile rests on
00:20:59
Speaker 1: her face. They have met many times before and always
00:21:05
Speaker 1: stop for a chat. Littlefoot walked closer to the fox
00:21:11
Speaker 1: and says hello again, isn't it a beautiful day? I
00:21:17
Speaker 1: love being out in the snow. The fox replies, hello there, Littlefoot, Yes,
00:21:25
Speaker 1: it is a beautiful day. I love being out in
00:21:29
Speaker 1: the snow too, and I love the forest. At this
00:21:33
Speaker 1: time of the year, there's such a peaceful quietness in
00:21:38
Speaker 1: the air, as though the forest is slowing down for
00:21:42
Speaker 1: a while and taking it easy. I've been walking through
00:21:49
Speaker 1: the snow for hours and enjoying the surroundings. Littlefoot says
00:21:57
Speaker 1: he's been having a walk too, and in enjoying it
00:22:01
Speaker 1: very much. They chat for a while longer, then say
00:22:06
Speaker 1: their goodbyes and head off in different directions. Littlefoot walks
00:22:15
Speaker 1: on and breathes out clouds of misty breaths that gently
00:22:21
Speaker 1: dissolve in the air. The sun sinks lower in the
00:22:26
Speaker 1: sky and dips below the horizon. The sky fills with
00:22:34
Speaker 1: the glorious colors of twilight and is bathed in soft
00:22:39
Speaker 1: shades of dusky pinks and pale purples. The fluffy clouds
00:22:45
Speaker 1: absorb the same colors as they drift slowly across the sky.
00:22:53
Speaker 1: More snow clouds float into view, and they cluster together,
00:22:58
Speaker 1: like old friends meeting up. Littlefoot knows it's going to
00:23:05
Speaker 1: snow soon and makes his way towards a clearing. He
00:23:11
Speaker 1: wants to get a good view of the sky and
00:23:14
Speaker 1: watch the snowflakes flutter down from the clouds. He arrives
00:23:21
Speaker 1: at the clearing and stands in the middle of it.
00:23:26
Speaker 1: The sky is now full of snow clouds, and as
00:23:30
Speaker 1: he gazes up at them, littlefoot holds his hand out
00:23:35
Speaker 1: and gets ready to catch the first falling snowflake. A
00:23:42
Speaker 1: single snowflake flutters slowly downwards and lands in his open palm.
00:23:50
Speaker 1: It is cool on his skin. Littleford looks closer at
00:23:55
Speaker 1: the snowflake and notices its fluffy edges. The snowflake slowly
00:24:03
Speaker 1: dissolves in his hand and becomes a glittering drop of water.
00:24:10
Speaker 1: It twinkles like a diamond. Littlefoot keeps his hand out
00:24:17
Speaker 1: and lets more snowflakes settle softly there. Each snowflake is
00:24:24
Speaker 1: different from the other one, and they are all so
00:24:28
Speaker 1: very beautiful. He stands still, breathes deeply, and watches the
00:24:37
Speaker 1: snowflakes on his palm melting into sparkling drops of water.
00:24:47
Speaker 1: He feels so very peaceful and tranquil in the quiet clearing,
00:24:55
Speaker 1: surrounded by trees that are blanketed in soft snow. Littlefoot
00:25:03
Speaker 1: stretches his arms out. More snow falls and lands on
00:25:10
Speaker 1: the peaceful yetty, covering him in a light layer of
00:25:16
Speaker 1: delicate snowflakes. The snow grows gradually heavier. Littlefoot looks upwards,
00:25:26
Speaker 1: and all he can see is a sky full of
00:25:30
Speaker 1: snowflakes drifting towards him. It is a magical sight. He
00:25:38
Speaker 1: notices how some snowflakes drift to the left and others
00:25:45
Speaker 1: move to the right, as though they are performing a
00:25:48
Speaker 1: winter waltz with the cool breeze. A gust of wind
00:25:55
Speaker 1: wraps around a cluster of snowflakes and carries them upwards.
00:26:00
Speaker 1: They rise more and more before coming to a stop.
00:26:06
Speaker 1: They hover in the air for a few minutes, then
00:26:10
Speaker 1: change direction and flutter downwards once again. Littlefoot is soon
00:26:18
Speaker 1: covered in soft snow. He is wearing a blanket of snow,
00:26:23
Speaker 1: just like the beautiful forests. The thought makes him feel
00:26:29
Speaker 1: all warm and happy inside, and he's so glad he
00:26:34
Speaker 1: came out for a walk in the snow. The snowfall
00:26:40
Speaker 1: grows lighter and lighter, and soon the last snowflake lands
00:26:48
Speaker 1: on Littlefoot's hand. He stands still for a while, enjoying
00:26:55
Speaker 1: the feeling of wearing a snowy blanket and being part
00:26:59
Speaker 1: of the forest. Littlefoot takes some deep, relaxing breath. He
00:27:08
Speaker 1: feels calmer and calmer. With every breath he takes. Some
00:27:16
Speaker 1: gentle thoughts drift into his mind, thoughts of his lovely
00:27:22
Speaker 1: family and his amazing friends, and all the wonderful times
00:27:28
Speaker 1: they have shared. A warm glow of happiness floats through
00:27:34
Speaker 1: the little yetty. After a few minutes, he gives himself
00:27:41
Speaker 1: a little shake, and the blanket of snow flutters from
00:27:45
Speaker 1: his furry arms and legs. The snowflakes dance in the
00:27:51
Speaker 1: cool winter air before falling to the ground. The snow
00:27:57
Speaker 1: clouds move across the sky, and as they reach the horizon,
00:28:03
Speaker 1: they melt away, leaving only wisps of snow filled memories
00:28:09
Speaker 1: behind them. The navy night sky is covered in twinkling stars.
00:28:17
Speaker 1: The full moon looks more beautiful than ever before, and
00:28:22
Speaker 1: it sends moonbeams dancing across the snowy ground. The snow
00:28:30
Speaker 1: glimmers as though stars have traveled down from the sky
00:28:35
Speaker 1: and are resting for a while on the forest floor.
00:28:40
Speaker 1: The snow covered forest is an enchanting place full of
00:28:45
Speaker 1: wondrous sights. Littlefoot feels very lucky to live in such
00:28:52
Speaker 1: a beautiful place, and his heart fills with love and joy.
00:29:00
Speaker 1: Littlefoot decides it's time to head home. He has enjoyed
00:29:07
Speaker 1: his mindful walk very much. All his earlier thoughts have vanished,
00:29:16
Speaker 1: like his footprints in the snow did and all he
00:29:20
Speaker 1: can think about is his home in the mountains and
00:29:24
Speaker 1: his loving family. Thinking about his home brings up an
00:29:29
Speaker 1: image of his cozy bed. He yawns and realizes how
00:29:36
Speaker 1: tired he is. He walks out of the clearing and
00:29:41
Speaker 1: back through the forest. He passes the frozen waterfall and
00:29:47
Speaker 1: the crystal clear river. The stars and the moon are
00:29:54
Speaker 1: reflected on the surface of the river. The tired yetty
00:30:00
Speaker 1: sees his shimmering reflection there too, and gives himself a
00:30:06
Speaker 1: sleepy wave good night. Littlefoot walks past animals who have
00:30:14
Speaker 1: already settled themselves down for the night. He sees a
00:30:19
Speaker 1: family of hedgehogs curled up cozily inside a hollow log.
00:30:26
Speaker 1: They are wrapped in a snug lair of dry leaves
00:30:30
Speaker 1: and a smiling in their sleep. Through the soft snow,
00:30:36
Speaker 1: he goes, with the moon and the stars lighting his way.
00:30:43
Speaker 1: He hears soft snores coming from some of the trees
00:30:49
Speaker 1: and gently thinks about the animals who could be asleep
00:30:54
Speaker 1: within the branches. Perhaps it's the squirrel or he saw earlier,
00:31:01
Speaker 1: who has enjoyed an evening feast of delicious chestnuts and
00:31:07
Speaker 1: is now asleep with her little hands resting on her
00:31:12
Speaker 1: full tummy. Maybe it's a family of dormice who has
00:31:18
Speaker 1: snug and cozy inside the tree, sleeping on a blanket
00:31:23
Speaker 1: of soft straw, and now lets out a soft hoot
00:31:29
Speaker 1: that echoes gently through the forest. Littlefoot yawns again. As
00:31:39
Speaker 1: he walks amongst the snow covered trees. He is joined
00:31:44
Speaker 1: by a dozen fireflies. They say hello to the sleepy
00:31:49
Speaker 1: yetty and light the way ahead for him. They guide
00:31:54
Speaker 1: him back through the snowy forest and towards his cozy
00:32:02
Speaker 1: Littlefoot's mom is waiting for him on the mountain path.
00:32:07
Speaker 1: She spots her son and moves towards him. Her smile
00:32:12
Speaker 1: is warm as she asks how is your walk in
00:32:17
Speaker 1: the snow? Littlefoot yawns and replies, Oh, wonderful, just wonderful.
00:32:31
Speaker 1: I want to go on another walk again soon, yawns again,
00:32:39
Speaker 1: but not today, Tomorrow would be better. Will you come
00:32:44
Speaker 1: with me, mom? I would love that, his mom says.
00:32:51
Speaker 1: She takes his hand in hers. Come on, little one,
00:32:56
Speaker 1: let's get you home. I think you're already for your bed.
00:33:03
Speaker 1: Littlefoot and his mom head back to their home and
00:33:07
Speaker 1: go inside it. Very soon, the tired little Yetti is
00:33:14
Speaker 1: tucked up inside his cozy bed. He glances at the
00:33:19
Speaker 1: snow globe on his bedside table. The snow has completely
00:33:26
Speaker 1: settled and will stay that way for the rest of
00:33:30
Speaker 1: the night. His mum sits at his side and begins
00:33:36
Speaker 1: to read him a soothing bedtime story. Littlefoot blinks tiredly
00:33:46
Speaker 1: and closes his heavy eyes. He smiles as he thinks
00:33:53
Speaker 1: about his mindful walk in the snow and how different
00:33:59
Speaker 1: the forest looked to him as if he were seeing
00:34:03
Speaker 1: it for the very first time. With the smile still
00:34:10
Speaker 1: on his face, Little Foot drifts into a deep d sleep.
