Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome back to Kuala Moon, a podcast of

00:00:14

Speaker 1: original children's bedtime stories and meditations designed to make bedtime

00:00:20

Speaker 1: a dream.

00:00:23

Speaker 2: I'm delighted to tell you that tonight's episode is inspired

00:00:27

Speaker 2: by a listener in Australia called Panda Coco, who wrote

00:00:31

Speaker 2: us a lovely review along with a brilliant story idea.

00:00:35

Speaker 2: Our fantastic writer Gillian has done wonders and written this

00:00:39

Speaker 2: story about a panda who gets help from Midnight the

00:00:43

Speaker 2: Sleep Fairy. In fact, this story really does have it

00:00:47

Speaker 2: all pandas, dragons and fairies. Panda Coco, we hope you

00:00:53

Speaker 2: enjoy it, and to the rest of you, please keep

00:00:57

Speaker 2: sending in your ideas too. We can't respond on Apple podcast,

00:01:02

Speaker 2: but we love hearing from you all. Okay, let's jump

00:01:08

Speaker 2: into bed, snuggle down and relax. You could do some

00:01:14

Speaker 2: light stretches, some deep breathing, or just gently close your

00:01:19

Speaker 2: eyes as I now take you to meet Bao. He

00:01:24

Speaker 2: is little with black and white fur and a little

00:01:28

Speaker 2: bit of a frown on his sweet face. He's having

00:01:32

Speaker 2: trouble falling asleep because he can't stop thinking about dragons,

00:01:38

Speaker 2: and he wonders if they actually exist. He asks his

00:01:43

Speaker 2: Grandma about them, and she knows the best way to

00:01:46

Speaker 2: answer his question is by summoning magical help from a

00:01:50

Speaker 2: special fairy called Midnight. The fairy arrives at their home

00:01:56

Speaker 2: and takes Bao on a magical journey where he soon

00:02:01

Speaker 2: discovers the answer to his question. This is Midnight and

00:02:08

Speaker 2: the Panda by Gillian Rogerson. It was twilight in Sleepy

00:02:19

Speaker 2: Forest and the animals were settling down for the night.

00:02:24

Speaker 2: Moonbeams cascaded through the branches of the trees and danced

00:02:29

Speaker 2: slowly across the forest floor. The sky was a beautiful

00:02:35

Speaker 2: shade of purple and pink, and the clouds were as

00:02:38

Speaker 2: fluffy as marshmallows. All around the forest, animals prepared their

00:02:45

Speaker 2: children for bedtime. Warm baths were run, soothing drinks of

00:02:50

Speaker 2: cocoa were made, and bedtime stories were told. On the

00:02:56

Speaker 2: far side of Sleepy Forest, there was a cozy how

00:03:00

Speaker 2: made of bamboo, and inside the house lived a family

00:03:04

Speaker 2: of pandas. The youngest panda was called Bao, and he

00:03:08

Speaker 2: loved everything about bedtime, especially the stories his parents and

00:03:13

Speaker 2: grandparents told him. His favorite stories were about dragons, and

00:03:20

Speaker 2: every night he would ask for a story about the

00:03:24

Speaker 2: marvelous dragons and their amazing adventures. That evening, as Boo

00:03:30

Speaker 2: settled down in his bed, he didn't ask for a

00:03:33

Speaker 2: story about dragons because there was something else on his mind.

00:03:38

Speaker 2: There was a question that had been concerning him all day,

00:03:43

Speaker 2: and he couldn't stop thinking about it. When his grandma

00:03:48

Speaker 2: asked what bedtime story he would like, Bao asked, Grandma,

00:03:56

Speaker 2: have you ever seen a dragon? No, Bow, I haven't,

00:04:02

Speaker 2: she replied. Would you like a story about the water

00:04:06

Speaker 2: dragon tonight? Or maybe the weather dragon? Boo said, Grandma,

00:04:15

Speaker 2: has anyone in our family ever seen a dragon? Grandma

00:04:21

Speaker 2: shook her head. Then how do you know they exist,

00:04:27

Speaker 2: Boo asked. Grandma smiled kindly, because I can feel it

00:04:35

Speaker 2: in my heart, and when I go into the forest,

00:04:39

Speaker 2: I can sense the dragons in nature, in the ocean,

00:04:44

Speaker 2: and in the stars, but no one has ever seen them,

00:04:51

Speaker 2: Bow persisted. Grandma shook her head again. Hmm, came Bow's.

00:05:01

Speaker 2: He closed his eyes and looked like he was ready

00:05:04

Speaker 2: for sleep. Grandma started to tell him a story about

00:05:09

Speaker 2: the water dragon. Bough's eyes opened. Grandma, has anyone in

00:05:18

Speaker 2: our village seen a dragon? Or anyone in Sleepy forest?

00:05:25

Speaker 2: Grandma said she wasn't sure and maybe she could ask

00:05:29

Speaker 2: around tomorrow. She continued with her story. While the little

00:05:35

Speaker 2: panda didn't close his eyes again. Grandma could tell by

00:05:41

Speaker 2: the look on his little face that he was still

00:05:45

Speaker 2: thinking about dragons and whether anyone had seen one. The

00:05:52

Speaker 2: little panda sat up in bed, placed his paws on

00:05:56

Speaker 2: the covers, and said, I've never seen a dragon. Maybe

00:06:03

Speaker 2: they aren't real, maybe they only exist in stories. Grandma

00:06:11

Speaker 2: wasn't sure what to say, and she realized she needed

00:06:16

Speaker 2: help with Bow's dragon question. She stood up and held

00:06:21

Speaker 2: her poor out to Bow. Come with me. Let's see

00:06:28

Speaker 2: if we can find someone special to answer your question.

00:06:34

Speaker 2: Grandma took Bow out of the house and into the garden.

00:06:40

Speaker 2: She asked him to find three acorn tops. Bow wasn't

00:06:45

Speaker 2: sure why she needed them, but did as he was asked.

00:06:51

Speaker 2: Between them, they soon found three acorn tops. Grandma placed

00:06:57

Speaker 2: them beneath a tree and told Bao that magical help

00:07:01

Speaker 2: was always available to those who needed it, and one

00:07:06

Speaker 2: way to ask for their help was by placing three

00:07:10

Speaker 2: acorn tops outside their home. Bao looked at his grandma

00:07:17

Speaker 2: in amazement and whispered, magical help. What kind of magical

00:07:25

Speaker 2: help you'll soon see, Grandma said wisely. A few seconds later,

00:07:36

Speaker 2: the magical help they were waiting for arrived in the

00:07:40

Speaker 2: shape of a fairy who was wearing a dress the

00:07:44

Speaker 2: color of the midnight sky. Her silver wings fluttered gently

00:07:52

Speaker 2: in the evening breeze, and a velvet pouch hung from

00:07:57

Speaker 2: a silver belt around her waste. The fairy smiled at

00:08:03

Speaker 2: the pandas and said softly, hullo, my name is Midnight,

00:08:12

Speaker 2: and I help with all matters concerning the night. Did

00:08:19

Speaker 2: you call for me? We did, Thank you for coming here,

00:08:26

Speaker 2: Grandma said. She introduced herself and Bow, and said her

00:08:32

Speaker 2: grandson was having trouble falling asleep because of his question

00:08:37

Speaker 2: about dragons and whether they were real. Midnight smiled kindly

00:08:45

Speaker 2: at Bow and said they were real because she had

00:08:50

Speaker 2: seen them many times. Bow was too surprised to speak

00:08:57

Speaker 2: for a moment. Then he found his voice and asked

00:09:02

Speaker 2: the fairy many questions. Where had she seen the dragons?

00:09:09

Speaker 2: What did they look like? Do they like eating cake

00:09:13

Speaker 2: or strawberry jam, sandwiches or bamboo? Where do they go

00:09:19

Speaker 2: on holiday? Midnight said, I don't know the answers to

00:09:25

Speaker 2: those questions, but if it's okay with your grandma. I

00:09:32

Speaker 2: can take you on a journey and you can meet

00:09:36

Speaker 2: some dragons for yourself. Bao looked at his grandma with

00:09:42

Speaker 2: big eyes and asked if he could go with the fairy.

00:09:48

Speaker 2: His grandma said of course, but told him not to

00:09:53

Speaker 2: stay out too long because it was already bedtime. The

00:09:58

Speaker 2: fairy said she wouldn't keep him out long because it

00:10:02

Speaker 2: was nearly her bedtime too. She put her hand over

00:10:06

Speaker 2: her mouth and covered up a yawn. Bow tried his

00:10:12

Speaker 2: best not to yawn, but he couldn't stop a little

00:10:16

Speaker 2: one from coming out. He didn't think anyone noticed. Midnight

00:10:23

Speaker 2: reached into her pouch and pulled out a handful of

00:10:27

Speaker 2: multi colored glitter. She cast it into the air, where

00:10:33

Speaker 2: it twinkled brightly for a second and then fluttered to

00:10:38

Speaker 2: the ground. Out of the glitter a rose a sparkling

00:10:44

Speaker 2: blue pond. A red wooden bridge crossed the pond, adorned

00:10:50

Speaker 2: with lanterns in shades of pink and purple. Midnight looked

00:10:58

Speaker 2: at Bow and said, our journey begins. Let's cross the

00:11:04

Speaker 2: bridge together. Bow said good bye to his grandma and

00:11:11

Speaker 2: followed the fairy across the red bridge. On the other

00:11:17

Speaker 2: side of it was a winding path that was lined

00:11:22

Speaker 2: with bamboo. Bow walked along the path and felt the

00:11:27

Speaker 2: warm wind ruffling his fur. The twilight breeze traveled through

00:11:35

Speaker 2: the bamboo, causing them to gently bump into each other.

00:11:42

Speaker 2: They created a soothing chiming sound that created an air

00:11:48

Speaker 2: of tranquility. Bow walked along, feeling calm and relaxed. The

00:11:57

Speaker 2: path came to an end at an open field. In

00:12:03

Speaker 2: the middle of the field, there was a red dragon.

00:12:08

Speaker 2: Bow stopped in his tracks and his little mouth fell

00:12:13

Speaker 2: open in surprise. He stared at the dragon, completely lost

00:12:23

Speaker 2: for words. The dragon was magnificent. She was covered in

00:12:29

Speaker 2: bright scales which were the color of red poppies, and

00:12:34

Speaker 2: her eyes shone brightly like precious rubies. Her long tails

00:12:42

Speaker 2: swished back and forth across the grass, and a gentle

00:12:49

Speaker 2: smile alighted on her kind face. She waved at the

00:12:55

Speaker 2: fairy in the panda. Bow had he heard stories about

00:13:01

Speaker 2: a red dragon and thought she might be the adventure Dragon.

00:13:07

Speaker 2: He was too shy to say anything, and could only

00:13:10

Speaker 2: wave his little poor at her. The red dragon moved

00:13:16

Speaker 2: gracefully towards the fairy and the panda. She said hello, there, Midnight,

00:13:25

Speaker 2: it's a pleasure to see you again. May I ask

00:13:29

Speaker 2: who your friend is? Please? Midnight introduced Bao. As soon

00:13:36

Speaker 2: as his name was said, Boo's words tumbled from his

00:13:41

Speaker 2: mouth like a gushing waterfall. Hello, I've never met a

00:13:47

Speaker 2: dragon before, but I've heard lots of stories about them.

00:13:52

Speaker 2: Are you the adventure dragon I've heard about you? Is

00:13:57

Speaker 2: it true you found some gold coin hidden in a

00:14:01

Speaker 2: far away valley? And did you discover a crystal forest

00:14:06

Speaker 2: deep in the heart of a jungle? The Red Dragon

00:14:11

Speaker 2: chuckled and said, yes, she was the adventure Dragon and

00:14:16

Speaker 2: those stories were true. She moved closer to the little

00:14:23

Speaker 2: panda and looked at him with eyes full of kindness.

00:14:28

Speaker 2: It made Bow feel all warm and happy inside. The

00:14:34

Speaker 2: dragon said, I'm just about to go on another adventure.

00:14:40

Speaker 2: There's a mountain I want to explore because I've heard

00:14:45

Speaker 2: there's a secret cave hidden within it. Would you two

00:14:50

Speaker 2: like to come with me? The mountain isn't far away.

00:14:56

Speaker 2: Bow nodded eagerly. He couldn't take his eyes off the

00:15:01

Speaker 2: amazing dragon. Midnight asked if they would be flying to

00:15:07

Speaker 2: the mountain when the adventure Dragon nodded in reply, Midnight

00:15:14

Speaker 2: told Boo he would need some wings. She reached into

00:15:20

Speaker 2: the pouch around her waist and took out some glitter.

00:15:26

Speaker 2: With Boo's permission, she sprinkled some onto his back. The

00:15:32

Speaker 2: panda giggled and said it tickled. He looked over his

00:15:37

Speaker 2: shoulder and was amazed to see a pair of red

00:15:41

Speaker 2: wings on his back. Without any effort at all, he

00:15:47

Speaker 2: flapped his new wings. Wow, Bao said as he gazed

00:15:54

Speaker 2: at his wings. He flapped them again and floated off

00:15:59

Speaker 2: the ground. Midnight put her hand on his shoulder and said,

00:16:07

Speaker 2: don't fly away just yet. Stay close to me. Give

00:16:13

Speaker 2: your wings a few more flaps to get used to them.

00:16:18

Speaker 2: Boo did so. He couldn't stop smiling. Having wings was amazing.

00:16:26

Speaker 2: A minute later, the adventure Dragon, the fairy, and the

00:16:31

Speaker 2: panda rose from the ground and flew towards the mountain.

00:16:38

Speaker 2: As they headed towards the top of it, the dragon

00:16:42

Speaker 2: asked them to look out for a small opening. They

00:16:47

Speaker 2: flew twice around the mountaintop looking for the hidden entrance.

00:16:53

Speaker 2: It was Boo who spotted it. He pointed to a

00:16:58

Speaker 2: gap between two and asked if it was the entrance.

00:17:04

Speaker 2: The dragon said it was, but it looked too small

00:17:07

Speaker 2: for her to fly through. Midnight took some glitter from

00:17:12

Speaker 2: her pouch and threw it towards the gap. The opening

00:17:17

Speaker 2: grew bigger and bigger. Soon it was big enough for

00:17:23

Speaker 2: everyone to fly through. The Red Dragon went through first

00:17:30

Speaker 2: and was followed by the Fairy and the panda. They

00:17:34

Speaker 2: entered a large cave. Sparkling gems twinkled from the roof

00:17:40

Speaker 2: of the cave, and the floor was covered in glimmering

00:17:45

Speaker 2: golden sand. Boo noticed something peculiar at the far side

00:17:53

Speaker 2: of the cave. He landed gently on the floor of

00:17:59

Speaker 2: the cave and walked towards it. When he got closer,

00:18:05

Speaker 2: he saw there was an opening in the floor, and

00:18:09

Speaker 2: inside it there was a shiny slide that led to

00:18:14

Speaker 2: another cave below them. He called out to the Dragon

00:18:19

Speaker 2: and the Fairy and showed them what he'd found. We

00:18:23

Speaker 2: should go down it. The Red Dragon said, it's too

00:18:28

Speaker 2: small for me, and I wonder if you could use

00:18:32

Speaker 2: your magic again. Midnight Midnight said, of course, and asked

00:18:38

Speaker 2: Bow to use the glitter. This time. She held out

00:18:42

Speaker 2: the open pouch to the panda. Bow reached into the bag.

00:18:51

Speaker 2: He wasn't sure how much to take, so he only

00:18:55

Speaker 2: took a small amount. He sprinkled into the air like

00:19:02

Speaker 2: he'd seen midnight doing. The sprinkles landed on the opening

00:19:08

Speaker 2: in the cave floor and made it big enough for everyone.

00:19:14

Speaker 2: With a whoop of joy, the trio traveled down the

00:19:18

Speaker 2: silver slide and came to a soft landing at the

00:19:23

Speaker 2: bottom of it. The cave was much bigger than the

00:19:28

Speaker 2: one above, and a pale, purple stream ran slowly through

00:19:34

Speaker 2: the middle of it. The Red Dragon looked closer at

00:19:38

Speaker 2: the stream and shook her head in disbelief. She told

00:19:44

Speaker 2: the others it could be the legendary singing stream. She

00:19:51

Speaker 2: had heard about it from her mother, but had never

00:19:54

Speaker 2: come across it on her adventures. She frowned and said,

00:20:01

Speaker 2: if this is the singing stream, I wonder how we

00:20:05

Speaker 2: can make it sing. Bao had an idea, He said,

00:20:13

Speaker 2: shall I try singing a song and see if the

00:20:16

Speaker 2: stream joins in with me? The others thought that was

00:20:21

Speaker 2: an excellent idea. Boo thought about his very favorite song.

00:20:29

Speaker 2: It was when his mum sang on an evening when

00:20:33

Speaker 2: he was settling down in bed. He started to sing it.

00:20:39

Speaker 2: Within seconds, the stream joined in with the lovely lullaby tune.

00:20:46

Speaker 2: The peaceful sound echoed around the cave. The Red Dragon

00:20:54

Speaker 2: yawned and said the song was so soothing that it

00:21:00

Speaker 2: was making her feel sleepy. Bow reached the end of

00:21:06

Speaker 2: his song. The stream stopped singing too. At that moment,

00:21:14

Speaker 2: a pale purple boat appeared on the water and bobbed

00:21:19

Speaker 2: on the surface of the stream. Midnight said, I think

00:21:28

Speaker 2: we're supposed to get into this boat and let it

00:21:31

Speaker 2: carry us downstream. She asked the red dragon if she

00:21:37

Speaker 2: wanted to come with them. The dragon yawned and said

00:21:43

Speaker 2: she needed a nap. Having adventures always made her sleepy.

00:21:51

Speaker 2: She asked them to come back and see her again soon.

00:21:56

Speaker 2: The adventure dragon curled up on the ground, closed her

00:22:02

Speaker 2: eyes and fell asleep. Bow and Midnight climbed into the

00:22:10

Speaker 2: pale purple boat and were carried gently onwards. Bow waved

00:22:17

Speaker 2: goodbye to the sleeping dragon. The little panda's wings folded

00:22:24

Speaker 2: up neatly on his back. The boat took the panda

00:22:30

Speaker 2: and the fairy through the cave and out into the sunshine.

00:22:36

Speaker 2: It bobbed along and came to a rest in the

00:22:38

Speaker 2: middle of a lake. On the grass at the side

00:22:43

Speaker 2: of the lake, was another dragon. This one was blue

00:22:49

Speaker 2: and had shimmering scales the color of the sky on

00:22:53

Speaker 2: a summer's day. His blue eyes twinkled merrily at Bow,

00:22:59

Speaker 2: and Bow whispered, is that the water dragon, the one

00:23:09

Speaker 2: who goes on underwater adventures and discovers new worlds. Midnight

00:23:17

Speaker 2: nodded she had met the water dragon before and told

00:23:22

Speaker 2: Bao he was very friendly and loved having visitors. She

00:23:29

Speaker 2: waved to the blue dragon. The beautiful dragon got into

00:23:37

Speaker 2: the lake. He swam over to them and said hello.

00:23:43

Speaker 2: Bao gave him a shy hello in return, and said

00:23:47

Speaker 2: his grandfather had told him many stories about the dragons

00:23:52

Speaker 2: underwater adventures. The water Dragon chuckled and said that was

00:23:59

Speaker 2: good to know. He told them he was about to

00:24:04

Speaker 2: go on another underwater adventure and would they like to

00:24:08

Speaker 2: go with him. The panda and the fairy quickly said yes,

00:24:16

Speaker 2: because they would be traveling underwater. Midnight used her magic

00:24:22

Speaker 2: glitter to turn the boat into a submarine made of glass.

00:24:29

Speaker 2: The water Dragon told them to follow him. He smoothly

00:24:36

Speaker 2: dipped below the surface of the water. Midnight showed Bow

00:24:44

Speaker 2: how to steer the submarine. It wasn't at all difficult

00:24:50

Speaker 2: and Bow easily lowered the vessel beneath the water. Through

00:24:56

Speaker 2: the glass, they saw the blue Dragon waiting for them ahead.

00:25:02

Speaker 2: He waved at them and began to swim through the water.

00:25:08

Speaker 2: Bow steered the submarine and followed the dragon through the

00:25:16

Speaker 2: crystal clear water. They went. Soon they came to a

00:25:22

Speaker 2: large rock. The dragon touched it, and the rock turned

00:25:28

Speaker 2: into a bridge. The water Dragon swam under it. Bow

00:25:35

Speaker 2: expertly steered the submarine beneath the bridge, and when they

00:25:40

Speaker 2: came out of the other side, he discovered they were

00:25:44

Speaker 2: no longer in the lake. They were in the ocean.

00:25:51

Speaker 2: Schools of brightly colored fish swam past the submarine and

00:25:57

Speaker 2: gave it curious looks. Seahorses bobbed by and waved at

00:26:05

Speaker 2: the panda and fairy. They waved back. The blue Dragon

00:26:13

Speaker 2: continued swimming along when the submarine followed him. Before long,

00:26:21

Speaker 2: the water Dragon stopped swimming and swirled around in the water.

00:26:28

Speaker 2: He said he'd heard a story about a hidden world

00:26:32

Speaker 2: somewhere nearby, and he couldn't see away into that world.

00:26:39

Speaker 2: He asked Midnight and Bowed to help him look for

00:26:43

Speaker 2: a way in. Bow slowly steered the submarine over patches

00:26:51

Speaker 2: of swaying grass and pink coral reefs. He soon spotted

00:26:57

Speaker 2: a large boulder covered in fossils. One of the fossils

00:27:03

Speaker 2: was golden color and was larger than the others. It

00:27:07

Speaker 2: reminded Bow of a door handle. Could it be the

00:27:12

Speaker 2: entrance to another world? He waved to the water Dragon

00:27:18

Speaker 2: and pointed to the gold fossil. The dragon moved towards

00:27:24

Speaker 2: the fossil. He reached out and put his hand on it.

00:27:29

Speaker 2: He twisted it, and a door in the boulder opened.

00:27:34

Speaker 2: The water Dragon grinned at Bow and gave him a nod.

00:27:40

Speaker 2: The opening was big enough for them to pass through.

00:27:44

Speaker 2: The Blue Dragon went first, and the others followed. They

00:27:50

Speaker 2: entered another new world. It looked very much like the

00:27:57

Speaker 2: ocean they had just been in, but the animals who

00:28:01

Speaker 2: were swimming about weren't like any Boo had seen before.

00:28:07

Speaker 2: He looked at Midnight and saw she was just as

00:28:11

Speaker 2: astonished as he was. The Blue Dragon looked surprised too.

00:28:19

Speaker 2: Boo thought he could guess what the animals were, but

00:28:23

Speaker 2: he asked Midnight anyway. Midnight answered, they are sea unicorns.

00:28:32

Speaker 2: I've only ever heard stories about them before, I've never

00:28:37

Speaker 2: met any, and I thought they weren't real and only

00:28:41

Speaker 2: existed in stories. Boo smiled and said that's what he

00:28:48

Speaker 2: had thought about dragons, but not anymore. The sea unicorns

00:28:55

Speaker 2: were a variety of delicate colors, blue, green, pink, and purple.

00:29:05

Speaker 2: Their long manes flowed gently in the current of the water,

00:29:11

Speaker 2: and their silver horns twinkled and shimmered like stars in

00:29:17

Speaker 2: the sky. The sea unicorns welcomed their visitors and asked

00:29:23

Speaker 2: them to stay for a while. The water Dragon, the Fairy,

00:29:29

Speaker 2: and the panda spent a little time with the sea

00:29:33

Speaker 2: unicorns and were shone around their world. Bow noticed how

00:29:40

Speaker 2: the sea unicorns kept changing color from one pastor shade

00:29:46

Speaker 2: to another. It was relaxing to watch, and he felt

00:29:52

Speaker 2: himself becoming more and more peaceful as he gazed upon

00:29:57

Speaker 2: the changing colors. Bow yawned, Midnight did too, and so

00:30:08

Speaker 2: did the Water Dragon. The travelers decided it was time

00:30:13

Speaker 2: to say good bye to the sea unicorns, but promised

00:30:18

Speaker 2: to return another time. With the water Dragon leading the way,

00:30:26

Speaker 2: Bow and Midnight returned to the lake where they had

00:30:30

Speaker 2: first met the Blue Dragon. The dragon said he was

00:30:36

Speaker 2: very tired and needed to sleep. He thanked them for

00:30:42

Speaker 2: going on an adventure with him and asked them to

00:30:46

Speaker 2: come back again soon. With a big, big yawn, the

00:30:53

Speaker 2: water Dragon curled up on the grass beside the lake,

00:30:59

Speaker 2: closed eyes and fell asleep. Midnight and Bow climbed out

00:31:07

Speaker 2: of the submarine. The fairy looked upwards and told Bow

00:31:14

Speaker 2: there was one more dragon for him to meet. Bow

00:31:19

Speaker 2: tilted his head and saw a big cloud floating towards them.

00:31:28

Speaker 2: A green dragon with skin the color of spring leaves

00:31:35

Speaker 2: was sitting in the middle of it. Bow recognized the

00:31:40

Speaker 2: dragon immediately. It was the weather Dragon, and according to

00:31:47

Speaker 2: the stories he had heard, the dragon had amazing magical

00:31:53

Speaker 2: powers over the weather. The weather Dragon lad did her

00:32:00

Speaker 2: cloud next to Midnight and Bow. She said, hello, Midnight,

00:32:09

Speaker 2: it's good to see you again. She smiled kindly. Abow.

00:32:15

Speaker 2: You must be Bow. I've heard about you and how

00:32:22

Speaker 2: you've helped some friends of mine on their adventures today.

00:32:28

Speaker 2: I know you live in sleepy forest and that it's

00:32:32

Speaker 2: nighttime there. Would you like to fly home or would

00:32:38

Speaker 2: you prefer a lift on my cloud? Bow did like flying,

00:32:47

Speaker 2: but as he was feeling very tired, he asked if

00:32:52

Speaker 2: he could have a lift back please. Midnight was also

00:32:58

Speaker 2: tired and asked the same question. The weather Dragon said,

00:33:04

Speaker 2: of course, and asked them to climb on. She said, Bow,

00:33:12

Speaker 2: if you're not too tired, you could help me with

00:33:16

Speaker 2: some of the weather on the way back to Sleepy Forest,

00:33:22

Speaker 2: Midnight and Bow climbed onto the fluffy cloud and sat

00:33:27

Speaker 2: next to the dragon. Bow put his paws on the cloud.

00:33:33

Speaker 2: It was as soft as his bed. Thinking about his

00:33:39

Speaker 2: bed made him yawn. Midnight told Bow his wings would

00:33:46

Speaker 2: slowly disappear on the way home, but if he ever

00:33:53

Speaker 2: needed them back, he need only call out for her

00:33:57

Speaker 2: magical help. The cloud rose to the sky and moved

00:34:05

Speaker 2: forwards over the mountains. The weather dragon said she had

00:34:12

Speaker 2: to deliver snow to some of the mountains and asked

00:34:16

Speaker 2: Bow to take a porfull of cloud. The panda did so.

00:34:23

Speaker 2: It fell cool and refreshing. The Green Dragon stopped above

00:34:31

Speaker 2: a mountain and told Bow to rub the tuft of

00:34:36

Speaker 2: cloud together in his paws. Bow gently rubbed the cloud

00:34:42

Speaker 2: back and forth. Tiny snowflakes floated from the piece of

00:34:50

Speaker 2: cool cloud and drifted over the mountain. They grew bigger

00:34:58

Speaker 2: and bigger, and then fell on the mountain top and

00:35:04

Speaker 2: covered it in a blanket of snow. When enough snow

00:35:11

Speaker 2: had fallen, the Weather Dragon moved the cloud away from

00:35:16

Speaker 2: the mountain and over some fields. She asked Bow to

00:35:22

Speaker 2: take another bit of cloud. He did so, and when

00:35:27

Speaker 2: he rubbed it together, he made rain drops appear. The

00:35:33

Speaker 2: rain fell gently to the fields below, and Bow heard

00:35:39

Speaker 2: the soft pitapatter as it landed on the ground. It

00:35:45

Speaker 2: was a soothing sound and made him feel sleepy. He yawned.

00:35:54

Speaker 2: The weather Dragon noticed how tired the panda was and

00:35:59

Speaker 2: swift headed to Sleepy Forest, arriving a minute later. The

00:36:07

Speaker 2: animals of Sleepy Forests were fast asleep, tucked up inside

00:36:14

Speaker 2: their cozy homes. Moonbeams cascaded through the branches of the

00:36:22

Speaker 2: trees and danced slowly across the forest floor. The tired

00:36:31

Speaker 2: panda yawned again and lay down on the soft cloud.

00:36:40

Speaker 2: It was warm and snugly. A few moments later, the

00:36:48

Speaker 2: Green Dragon brought the cloud to a soft landing outside

00:36:54

Speaker 2: Bough's bamboo house. His grandma was waiting for him. She

00:37:01

Speaker 2: was surprised to see the dragon and waved shyly. Grandma

00:37:09

Speaker 2: stepped onto the cloud and took Bow into her arms.

00:37:15

Speaker 2: She gave the Green Dragon a silent thank you. She

00:37:21

Speaker 2: would have said thank you to Midnight too, where the

00:37:26

Speaker 2: little fairy was fast asleep. Bow's grandma stepped off the

00:37:34

Speaker 2: cloud with her sleeping grandson in her arms. The weather

00:37:41

Speaker 2: dragon said it had been a pleasure to meet them both,

00:37:46

Speaker 2: and that she would take Midnight home. She said goodbye

00:37:52

Speaker 2: and flew away on the fluffy cloud. Bow's mamma smiled

00:38:01

Speaker 2: softly at her grandson. She knew he would have lots

00:38:08

Speaker 2: of stories to tell her about dragons, but those stories

00:38:15

Speaker 2: could wait for another day. She took him inside and

00:38:23

Speaker 2: put him into his bed. She kissed him good night

00:38:30

Speaker 2: and left the room. That night, Boo dreamt about the

00:38:37

Speaker 2: amazing dragons he had met, the adventures they'd been on together,

00:38:45

Speaker 2: and the adventures they would have in the future.

00:39:06

Speaker 1: Non
