Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome back to Coco Sleep, a podcast of
00:00:14
Speaker 1: original children's bedtime stories and meditations designed to make bedtime
00:00:20
Speaker 1: a dream. Before we begin, I'd like to say hello
00:00:25
Speaker 1: to our new subscriber, Maxwell, who's written to us all
00:00:28
Speaker 1: the way from Australia, and a big welcome to seven
00:00:31
Speaker 1: year old Dana too. Dana and Maxwell, we're so glad
00:00:35
Speaker 1: to have you both as part of the club. Welcome.
00:00:39
Speaker 1: Wednesday's story is an exciting one. We'll be joining daring
00:00:42
Speaker 1: doggie adventurers Hector and Sonny again on perhaps their boldest
00:00:47
Speaker 1: and bravest journey yet. They are going to Mars, so
00:00:53
Speaker 1: get your space helmets at the ready and I'll see
00:00:56
Speaker 1: you there. In Tonight's fantastical story, however, we're going to
00:01:00
Speaker 1: meet a young red panda called Meela and a young
00:01:04
Speaker 1: Lynx named Leela, who are the best of friends. And
00:01:08
Speaker 1: this pair of friends are about to go on a
00:01:11
Speaker 1: special quest through Sleepy Forest to uncover the magic within
00:01:15
Speaker 1: an ancient temple hidden away for many many years or
00:01:20
Speaker 1: thanks to their love of reading and their desire for adventure.
00:01:25
Speaker 1: This story was inspired by a brilliant idea from Alasia.
00:01:30
Speaker 1: The idea was so imaginative and magical that Alisha couldn't
00:01:33
Speaker 1: wait to turn it into a story. So thank you, Alisha.
00:01:37
Speaker 1: I hope you enjoy this, So settle back and relax
00:01:42
Speaker 1: as I begin your story. Miela, Leela and the Sleepy
00:01:47
Speaker 1: Temple by Alicia Ainslie. Meela was a little red panda
00:02:00
Speaker 1: who lived in a treehouse with her family. She had
00:02:03
Speaker 1: a bright red, furry body with four black, fuzzy legs.
00:02:08
Speaker 1: She had soft, quainty white ears and fluffy white cheeks
00:02:12
Speaker 1: and eyebrows. She had a tiny, adorable heart shaped face
00:02:18
Speaker 1: and a long, stripy reddish brown tail that she used
00:02:22
Speaker 1: to perform acrobatics through the trees. Miela, the red panda,
00:02:27
Speaker 1: looked a little bit like a cross between a giant,
00:02:30
Speaker 1: lofty panda and a little mischievous raccoon. Miela loved to
00:02:35
Speaker 1: spend her days jumping through the trees, lazing around on
00:02:39
Speaker 1: the branches, and basking in the sun. That is when
00:02:44
Speaker 1: she wasn't playing with her best friend, Leela. Leela was
00:02:48
Speaker 1: a young lynx. Sheila like a cross between your regular
00:02:52
Speaker 1: cuddly house cat and a mighty leopard. Lynxes are much
00:02:58
Speaker 1: bigger than house cats, but they have the same beautiful
00:03:01
Speaker 1: feline faces and fluffy coats. Leela was only young, so
00:03:06
Speaker 1: she still had a long way to grow, but her
00:03:09
Speaker 1: golden fur, with hundreds of black spots dotted all over it,
00:03:13
Speaker 1: was as eye catching as it would ever be. Leela
00:03:17
Speaker 1: loved to swim in the rivers and go rock climbing
00:03:20
Speaker 1: for fun. She was very active, and her best friend,
00:03:23
Speaker 1: Miela the red panda, often came along with her. On
00:03:28
Speaker 1: one bright sunny morning in Sleepy Forest, Meela and Leela
00:03:33
Speaker 1: were taking a break from their energetic playtime to read
00:03:36
Speaker 1: some books. Beneath Miela's family tree. Leela was peacefully reading
00:03:43
Speaker 1: a funny picture book about a talking carrot and its
00:03:46
Speaker 1: vegetable patch friends. She giggled and wriggled as she read
00:03:50
Speaker 1: the funny story. Alternatively, Meela was reading a history book
00:03:56
Speaker 1: all about the origins of Sleepy Forest. Miela loved to learn,
00:04:02
Speaker 1: and she studiously flipped through the pages, devouring as much
00:04:06
Speaker 1: knowledge as she possibly could. All of a sudden, Miela
00:04:11
Speaker 1: paused and gasped loudly with exhilaration. She nudged Leela and
00:04:17
Speaker 1: interrupted her reading to point out the fascinating page she'd
00:04:21
Speaker 1: just read. Look, Kleila, isn't this incredible? She exclaimed breathly.
00:04:30
Speaker 1: Apparently there's an ancient sight hidden here in Sleepy Forest.
00:04:35
Speaker 1: It is called the Sleepy Temple, and inside it holds
00:04:40
Speaker 1: a magical way to get a perfect night's sleep. Leela
00:04:46
Speaker 1: was intrigued by her best friend's discovery. After a long
00:04:51
Speaker 1: day of climbing, swimming and playing. Leela would love to
00:04:55
Speaker 1: have a magical way to fall asleep easily. She would
00:04:59
Speaker 1: never I have to wonder how to fall asleep again.
00:05:05
Speaker 1: Leela the Lynx suggested, why don't we look for it?
00:05:11
Speaker 1: If the magic inside the Sleepy Temple is real, then
00:05:15
Speaker 1: it will be the best story to tell our families
00:05:18
Speaker 1: when we return. Meela and Leela became excited by the
00:05:24
Speaker 1: prospect of an adventure, and they promptly asked Miela's parents
00:05:29
Speaker 1: if it was okay for them to go off in
00:05:31
Speaker 1: search of the Sleepy Temple. Meela's parents said that it
00:05:35
Speaker 1: was fine as long as they were back by bedtime. So,
00:05:41
Speaker 1: with Miela's parents' permission, a satchel full of a few snacks,
00:05:46
Speaker 1: and Miela's history book, the Gutsy duo set off in
00:05:50
Speaker 1: search of the Sleepy Temple. Meela and Leela may have
00:05:55
Speaker 1: been the best of friends, but they had a lot
00:05:58
Speaker 1: of differences. While Leela preferred to run and slink her
00:06:02
Speaker 1: way across the ground and through the forest, Miela preferred
00:06:07
Speaker 1: to swing her way through the trees and hop from
00:06:10
Speaker 1: branch to branch. As the pair journeyed through Sleepy Forest,
00:06:16
Speaker 1: Meela remained in the trees while Leela stayed on the ground.
00:06:23
Speaker 1: Inside Miela's history book, there was a map that led
00:06:26
Speaker 1: the way to the mystical Sleepy Temple. They needed to
00:06:31
Speaker 1: travel for miles through the woods, across three trickling rivers,
00:06:36
Speaker 1: and climb over the rocky mountain at the edge of
00:06:39
Speaker 1: the forest. Meela wasn't a particularly good climber, but it
00:06:46
Speaker 1: was Leela's strong point. Leela carried her best friend on
00:06:51
Speaker 1: her back over the rocky mountain and down to the
00:06:55
Speaker 1: final riverbank, where Meela fashioned a raft out of logs
00:06:59
Speaker 1: to carry them both down stream. The two friends leaped
00:07:05
Speaker 1: off the raft and on to the other side, where
00:07:08
Speaker 1: the alleged Sleepy Temple rested. They pushed through a field
00:07:13
Speaker 1: of long grass that was higher than their heads and
00:07:17
Speaker 1: eventually made it into an open clearing. Mihela and Leelah
00:07:24
Speaker 1: could hardly believe their eyes when they saw it. The
00:07:28
Speaker 1: sleepy Temple was real, and it was standing right in
00:07:34
Speaker 1: front of them. The temple was a huge, triangular building
00:07:41
Speaker 1: made of pale stone. A thin babbling brook encircled it,
00:07:48
Speaker 1: surrounded by flower beds full of bright white lilies and
00:07:52
Speaker 1: sweet smelling purple lavender. Ten Stone steps led up to
00:07:58
Speaker 1: a front door with giant marble pillars on either side,
00:08:03
Speaker 1: and the small, gentle waterfall gushed down into the brook
00:08:08
Speaker 1: from the steep hill behind. Meela and Leela raced towards
00:08:14
Speaker 1: the door to the temple, keen to discover the magic
00:08:18
Speaker 1: lurking inside. But when they got to the top of
00:08:23
Speaker 1: the steps and reached the door, they realized that there
00:08:27
Speaker 1: was no door handle and no lock for a key.
00:08:32
Speaker 1: How were they supposed to open a great, big stone
00:08:35
Speaker 1: door without a handle or a key. They tried to
00:08:40
Speaker 1: dig their paws into the gaps at either side to
00:08:44
Speaker 1: see if the temple door slid open, but they couldn't
00:08:48
Speaker 1: budget it. Miela looked puzzled and said, how are we
00:08:54
Speaker 1: supposed to open the door? Leela had no idea and
00:09:00
Speaker 1: started to look around for signs of her way in.
00:09:05
Speaker 1: She walked around the whole temple to see if there
00:09:08
Speaker 1: was a secret passageway, but she couldn't find anything. Miela
00:09:14
Speaker 1: pulled out her history book and read the page all
00:09:18
Speaker 1: about the Sleepy Temple. The book explained that the temple
00:09:23
Speaker 1: could only be opened with a special key, but there
00:09:27
Speaker 1: was no key to be seen and no lock to
00:09:30
Speaker 1: put a key in any way. Miela scanned the Sleepy
00:09:36
Speaker 1: Temple doorway, wondering if there was something she was missing.
00:09:42
Speaker 1: She looked up to the top of the pillars and
00:09:45
Speaker 1: her eyes fell upon a sign carved into the rock.
00:09:50
Speaker 1: The sign was right above the door, but it wasn't
00:09:53
Speaker 1: written in words. It was written in musical notes. Do
00:09:59
Speaker 1: you you read music, Miela asked Leela. Leela shook her
00:10:05
Speaker 1: head and admitted that she didn't. Why did Mila want
00:10:09
Speaker 1: to know if she read music, Miela continued, I think
00:10:16
Speaker 1: that those musical notes hold the answer to getting inside
00:10:21
Speaker 1: the Sleepy Temple. My history book says that only a
00:10:27
Speaker 1: special key can open the temple door. Leela was confused.
00:10:34
Speaker 1: Why would a bunch of musical notes help open a
00:10:38
Speaker 1: door if they needed a key? Miela explained, musical notes
00:10:46
Speaker 1: are written in a key, a musical key. Maybe the
00:10:52
Speaker 1: special key that we need to find is hidden within
00:10:57
Speaker 1: the musical notes above the door. Leela was impressed by
00:11:03
Speaker 1: Miela's knowledge. She would never have come up with that
00:11:07
Speaker 1: idea on her own. So what should we do, Theela
00:11:13
Speaker 1: asked her clever friend. Meela declared that they would have
00:11:18
Speaker 1: to find someone who read music to assist them in
00:11:21
Speaker 1: reading the musical sign. So the cuddly pair ventured back
00:11:26
Speaker 1: into the forest to search for someone who could help.
00:11:31
Speaker 1: After a few minutes of walking, they heard a chirping
00:11:35
Speaker 1: sound coming from a bush nearby. It was a charming
00:11:40
Speaker 1: little song coming from a tiny bluebird resting on a
00:11:45
Speaker 1: branch in the bush. Maybe a bird would be able
00:11:51
Speaker 1: to help. They were pretty musical, after all, Hello, little bird,
00:11:58
Speaker 1: Miela whispered, Jasna, the bluebird perched on the branch of
00:12:03
Speaker 1: the bush. Do you know who the most musical animal
00:12:09
Speaker 1: in the forest would be? The little bluebird chirped immediately
00:12:16
Speaker 1: without hesitation. That would be Lana the Bear. Everyone knows
00:12:22
Speaker 1: Lana for her sweet singing voice and her magical lullabi.
00:12:27
Speaker 1: She is by far the most musical animal in Sleepy Forest.
00:12:34
Speaker 1: Miela and Lila looked at each other with excitement. Lana's
00:12:39
Speaker 1: magical lullaby sounded almost too good to be true. If
00:12:45
Speaker 1: they could find the musical Lana the Bear, then surely
00:12:50
Speaker 1: she would know how to open the door to the
00:12:53
Speaker 1: Sleepy Temple. Lida turned back to the Little Bluebird and asked,
00:13:01
Speaker 1: where can we find her? The Bluebird informed the eager
00:13:07
Speaker 1: fluffy friends that Lana lived with her family in a
00:13:12
Speaker 1: cave in the center of Sleepy Forest. She liked to
00:13:16
Speaker 1: go out fishing and picking berries with her brothers and
00:13:19
Speaker 1: sisters during the daytime, but every night she could be
00:13:24
Speaker 1: found settling down in her comfy cave, singing to her
00:13:29
Speaker 1: younger siblings to whisk them off to sleep. That is,
00:13:34
Speaker 1: if she wasn't busy helping out another family in Sleepy Forest.
00:13:39
Speaker 1: Everybody turned to Lara for help with sleep. Meela and
00:13:46
Speaker 1: Leela thanked the Little Bluebird for their help and set
00:13:50
Speaker 1: off straight away to find Lana the Bear. Meela and
00:13:56
Speaker 1: Liela moved as quickly as they could through Sleepy Forest.
00:14:00
Speaker 1: Miela swung through the trees, flipping and tumbling through the air,
00:14:05
Speaker 1: and expertly landing from branch to branch. She was quite
00:14:11
Speaker 1: the gymnast as most red pandas are. Meanwhile, Leela the
00:14:18
Speaker 1: Lynx stuck to the ground, but moved through sleepy forests
00:14:23
Speaker 1: just as impressively as Miela. Leela clambered and climbed over
00:14:28
Speaker 1: the hills and rocks effortlessly, and swam through the lakes
00:14:34
Speaker 1: that cut across her path. Both Miela and Leelah were
00:14:40
Speaker 1: nimble and agile at racing through sleepy forest in their
00:14:44
Speaker 1: very own special ways. In next to no time, they
00:14:50
Speaker 1: reached the center of sleepy forest. They came across the
00:14:55
Speaker 1: place where the river spanned wide and the animals of
00:14:59
Speaker 1: the land and came to fish and relax. On beautiful
00:15:04
Speaker 1: sunny days such as this one, the river bank was
00:15:09
Speaker 1: lined with many humble bears, friendly wolves, and chatty otters.
00:15:16
Speaker 1: A few bald eagles hovered overhead, and many shimmering multicolored
00:15:21
Speaker 1: fish leapt up and dived down under the water, swimming
00:15:27
Speaker 1: along with the current. There were so many bears by
00:15:32
Speaker 1: the riverside that Meela and Leela didn't know where to begin.
00:15:38
Speaker 1: How would they find Lara the bear. It would take
00:15:41
Speaker 1: them all day to speak to every single one of
00:15:45
Speaker 1: the bears to work out who was Lana. They wandered
00:15:50
Speaker 1: down to the riverside and passed by the great, big,
00:15:54
Speaker 1: fuzzy bears. They were all caught up in their conversation
00:16:00
Speaker 1: and they barely even glanced at Miela and Leela walking by. Then,
00:16:07
Speaker 1: all of a sudden, Miela heard an unusual sound on
00:16:12
Speaker 1: the breeze. She focused on it and noted that it
00:16:17
Speaker 1: was a gentle humming sound. The melody was beautiful and soothing,
00:16:25
Speaker 1: and Miela felt relaxed just listening to it. It must
00:16:30
Speaker 1: be Lana the bear. Follow me, Mila whispered to Lela.
00:16:39
Speaker 1: I think I know how to find Lana. Miela closed
00:16:46
Speaker 1: her eyes and followed the sound. Her ears blocked out
00:16:51
Speaker 1: any other interruptions, and her mind honed in on the
00:16:56
Speaker 1: sweet melody floating on the breeze. With each soft, padded
00:17:04
Speaker 1: step she took, the humming sound grew louder. She was
00:17:10
Speaker 1: getting closer. Eventually, the humming sound became so loud and
00:17:17
Speaker 1: clear that Miela was sure she'd found the culprit of
00:17:21
Speaker 1: the melody. She opened her eyes and they fell upon
00:17:28
Speaker 1: a small, fuzzy bear. The bear was sitting by the
00:17:33
Speaker 1: side of the river, weaving a little scarf with a
00:17:37
Speaker 1: pair of knitting needles. As the bear peacefully knitted away,
00:17:43
Speaker 1: she hummed a delicate song. Miela gestured to Leela and
00:17:50
Speaker 1: pointed at the humming bear. She whispered, I think that
00:17:57
Speaker 1: is Lana. Wasting no time, Leela slunk forward and approached
00:18:05
Speaker 1: the young bear. Leela cleared her throat and began to speak. Hello,
00:18:16
Speaker 1: my name is Leela, she greeted the bear. I don't
00:18:21
Speaker 1: suppose your name is Lana, is it. The young bear
00:18:27
Speaker 1: appeared surprised and put down her knitting Why. Yes, my
00:18:34
Speaker 1: name is Lana, the bear replied with a warm smile.
00:18:40
Speaker 1: Have you been looking for me? Miela and Leela were
00:18:45
Speaker 1: so excited they could bare thee contain their eagerness. Yes,
00:18:52
Speaker 1: in fact, we have been looking for you, Mila chirped,
00:18:56
Speaker 1: in bounding forward and sitting on the other side of Lana.
00:19:03
Speaker 1: Miela and Leela explained to Lana about their recent journey
00:19:08
Speaker 1: to the Sleepy Temple and how when they had got there,
00:19:13
Speaker 1: they had discovered the temple was locked. Only a magical
00:19:18
Speaker 1: musical key could open the door to the Sleepy temple,
00:19:23
Speaker 1: and they had to find the most musical animal in
00:19:27
Speaker 1: Sleepy Forest to open it, which apparently just so happened
00:19:33
Speaker 1: to be Lana. Lana was flattered that they thought she
00:19:38
Speaker 1: was the most musical animal in the forest. She knew
00:19:43
Speaker 1: that her lullaby helped a lot of animals, but she
00:19:46
Speaker 1: didn't consider herself to be the most musical creature in
00:19:51
Speaker 1: Sleepy Forest. She was far too modest to think that.
00:19:57
Speaker 1: Leela asked Lana the question they had travel all this
00:20:00
Speaker 1: way for, Lana, will you come with us to the
00:20:05
Speaker 1: Sleepy Temple and help us to open the door? She begged,
00:20:11
Speaker 1: We could really use your help. Lana the Bear was
00:20:16
Speaker 1: never one to turn down an opportunity to help a
00:20:20
Speaker 1: fellow animal, and she happily agreed. Miela and Leela leapt
00:20:26
Speaker 1: for joy and thanked Lana for her generosity. The three
00:20:32
Speaker 1: fluffy animals set off together back to the Sleepy Temple.
00:20:39
Speaker 1: When they arrived, Miela and Leela raced towards the door
00:20:44
Speaker 1: and pointed to the musical inscription carved into the stone
00:20:49
Speaker 1: plaque above the entryway. Meela explained to Lana, this is
00:20:57
Speaker 1: what we found there is there's no key hole and
00:21:02
Speaker 1: there is no door handle, but there is this sign
00:21:07
Speaker 1: with music notes on it, and we're sure it explains
00:21:12
Speaker 1: how to open the temple door, Leela added, but the
00:21:18
Speaker 1: only problem is that we don't know how to read music.
00:21:25
Speaker 1: Lana smiled proudly and gazed at the carving above the
00:21:31
Speaker 1: door to the temple. Don't worry, Lana uttered, I know
00:21:38
Speaker 1: how to read music, so let's see. Then, Lana studied
00:21:46
Speaker 1: the music notes inscribed above the door and hummed quietly
00:21:53
Speaker 1: to herself. Then, after a few goes of practicing, she
00:22:00
Speaker 1: took a deep breath in and began to sing aloud.
00:22:06
Speaker 1: On a wide open lah sound, Lana sang the tune
00:22:13
Speaker 1: that was written above the temple door. She expertly translated
00:22:19
Speaker 1: the dots of music into a ravishing melody, and she
00:22:24
Speaker 1: sang it repeatedly, with each perfectly tune note. Lana sang
00:22:32
Speaker 1: the music dots carved into the stone began to light
00:22:37
Speaker 1: up with a mystical glow. The sign above the door
00:22:43
Speaker 1: emanated with a warm pink light as Lana sang the
00:22:48
Speaker 1: melody over and over again. Miela and Leela watched in
00:22:56
Speaker 1: awe as Lana and her song magically brought the sleepy
00:23:02
Speaker 1: temple to life, and the door cracked open. Lana stopped
00:23:10
Speaker 1: singing and looked at Miela and Leela, who were staring
00:23:15
Speaker 1: at the temple door with their mouths hanging wide open.
00:23:20
Speaker 1: They were absolutely amazed. They had never witnessed magic before.
00:23:29
Speaker 1: Lana decided to take the lead. Since the red panda
00:23:34
Speaker 1: and the lynx were so starstruck, Shall we take a
00:23:39
Speaker 1: look inside, then, she suggested, nodding her head towards the
00:23:45
Speaker 1: open temple door. Miela and Leela rushed over and pressed
00:23:51
Speaker 1: their eyes up against the open crack in the door. Wow.
00:23:59
Speaker 1: Miela and Leela gasped as they peeked inside the temple.
00:24:05
Speaker 1: Using her big bare claws, Lana pulled the door wide
00:24:10
Speaker 1: open and the three of them stepped inside to take
00:24:15
Speaker 1: her better look around. Inside the sleepy temple was a
00:24:21
Speaker 1: room full of thousands of clear gemstones. There were large
00:24:27
Speaker 1: ones as big as a fox or a baby tiger,
00:24:32
Speaker 1: all the way to teeny tiny gemstones as small as
00:24:38
Speaker 1: a mouse or a bumblebee. Meeala, Leela, and Lana wandered
00:24:46
Speaker 1: around the room, taking in the beauty of the gemstones,
00:24:51
Speaker 1: with dars sparkling in their eyes. It was all very
00:24:57
Speaker 1: beautiful and special, but Miela and Leela had a big
00:25:03
Speaker 1: question on their minds. Leela scratched her head and asked
00:25:10
Speaker 1: the others, how are gemstones supposed to help you sleep?
00:25:18
Speaker 1: I thought that the Sleepy Temple was supposed to hold
00:25:23
Speaker 1: all the answers for a perfect night's sleep, but instead
00:25:30
Speaker 1: all it seems to hold are a lot of pretty
00:25:33
Speaker 1: precious gems. Miela looked equally as confused as Leela and
00:25:41
Speaker 1: started to search for anything else that might be lying
00:25:46
Speaker 1: around the temple. With some answers, Lila took a closer
00:25:51
Speaker 1: look at the gemstones with intrigue. Meanwhile, Lana had got
00:25:58
Speaker 1: the temple tune stuff in her head and she couldn't
00:26:02
Speaker 1: stop replaying it over and over in her mind. She
00:26:07
Speaker 1: started to sing aloud again, enjoying the relaxing melody as
00:26:13
Speaker 1: it echoed around the temple chamber. As Lana sang, Leela
00:26:20
Speaker 1: noticed that the clear gemstones suddenly started to glow. She
00:26:27
Speaker 1: stepped back and saw that all of the gemstones were
00:26:32
Speaker 1: now gleaming, with an array of rainbow colors, brightening the
00:26:37
Speaker 1: inside of the temple and jingling with an enchanting aura.
00:26:44
Speaker 1: It was almost as if Lana's song was charging up
00:26:49
Speaker 1: the gemstones like batteries. The longer that Lana sang the melody,
00:26:57
Speaker 1: the brighter the gemstones became came, and soon the gemstones
00:27:04
Speaker 1: were shooting beams of color all around the inside of
00:27:08
Speaker 1: the temple. Leela turned her ear closer to the multi
00:27:14
Speaker 1: colored gemstones and noticed that they were singing the same
00:27:20
Speaker 1: tune as Lana. The gemstones had come to life thanks
00:27:27
Speaker 1: to Lana's singing, and as Miela and Leela watched the
00:27:32
Speaker 1: beams of light swirl around the ceiling above their heads,
00:27:38
Speaker 1: they started to feel sleepy. Lana's song came to an end,
00:27:46
Speaker 1: and the lights in the room started to fade and dim,
00:27:51
Speaker 1: until the gemstones were quiet again. However, they were no
00:27:57
Speaker 1: longer clear in color. They had transformed into an array
00:28:03
Speaker 1: of multi colored gemstones, twinkling with magic stored inside them.
00:28:12
Speaker 1: Larana reached into the pile of gemstones and pulled out
00:28:17
Speaker 1: two small, colorful stones. She handed a stone each to
00:28:24
Speaker 1: Mila and Blilah. I think that these now hold all
00:28:31
Speaker 1: of the answers you are looking for, Lana smiled satisfactorily.
00:28:39
Speaker 1: Miela and Leela carefully held the colorful gemstones in their
00:28:45
Speaker 1: paws and looked at each other and smiled. They had
00:28:51
Speaker 1: successfully found the Sleepy Temple and uncovered the magic that
00:28:58
Speaker 1: was lying inside. Now they had a souvenir to take
00:29:03
Speaker 1: home and remind them of their discovery every day. Meela, Leela,
00:29:12
Speaker 1: and Lana started the walk back to their homes, and
00:29:17
Speaker 1: the door of the Sleepy Temple gently closed behind them.
00:29:23
Speaker 1: It would be up to the next person to discover
00:29:27
Speaker 1: the temple to work out how to get inside. Now,
00:29:33
Speaker 1: perhaps they would come searching for Meela and Leela one
00:29:37
Speaker 1: day for advice. The idea made them both feel simultaneously
00:29:45
Speaker 1: giddy and proud. Inside. Lana returned to her cozy cave,
00:29:53
Speaker 1: and Mila and Leela walked back to their respective homes.
00:29:59
Speaker 1: Meela retreated to the treetops with her family of red pandas,
00:30:04
Speaker 1: while Leela returned to her own family's cave. The two
00:30:10
Speaker 1: friends wished each other a good night before they went
00:30:15
Speaker 1: their separate ways. Leela asked her friend conspiratorially, do you
00:30:23
Speaker 1: know how to use the magical Sleepy gemstones when we
00:30:27
Speaker 1: go to bed? Miela shook her head and admitted that
00:30:33
Speaker 1: she wasn't exactly sure, but she trusted that the stones
00:30:38
Speaker 1: would know exactly what to do when the time came.
00:30:43
Speaker 1: Meela and Leela hugged each other good bye and returned home.
00:30:50
Speaker 1: It had been a long day full of adventures, and
00:30:54
Speaker 1: both Miela and Leela were ready for bed. Me Yillah
00:31:00
Speaker 1: climbed up to her bedroom at the top of her
00:31:03
Speaker 1: family's treehouse, and Leela curled up in her bedroom deep
00:31:09
Speaker 1: in the back of her cave. They both held their
00:31:14
Speaker 1: precious Sleepy Temple gemstones in their paws as they climbed
00:31:20
Speaker 1: into bed. Leila looked at the colorful gemstone in puzzlement.
00:31:28
Speaker 1: How did she get it to work? She stared at
00:31:32
Speaker 1: the gemstone for a while, willing it to come alive
00:31:37
Speaker 1: with magic again, but no amount of staring at it
00:31:42
Speaker 1: did anything. Then she tried speaking to the gemstone and
00:31:49
Speaker 1: commanding it to work, but to no avail. She attempted
00:31:55
Speaker 1: to remember the tune that Lana had sung to the
00:31:58
Speaker 1: temple to awaken them magic, but she couldn't quite recall
00:32:03
Speaker 1: the melody. Eventually, Leela gave up. She was so tired
00:32:10
Speaker 1: that she didn't want to stay awake any longer. She
00:32:15
Speaker 1: placed the gemstone underneath her pillow for safe keeping, rested
00:32:21
Speaker 1: her head and closed her eyes. Within a few seconds,
00:32:28
Speaker 1: she felt a surge of warmth wash over her face,
00:32:33
Speaker 1: and her head felt light as her mind cleared of
00:32:37
Speaker 1: all thoughts and worries. She felt so relaxed. Then, to
00:32:45
Speaker 1: her amazement, she heard a soft voice singing a soothing melody.
00:32:53
Speaker 1: It was Lana's voice. The beautiful sound of Lana's singing
00:33:00
Speaker 1: drifted around Leela's bedroom, whisking her away into a deep,
00:33:07
Speaker 1: deep slumber. Meela had been right. The gemstone had known
00:33:15
Speaker 1: exactly what to do when Nela was ready to drift off. Meanwhile,
00:33:23
Speaker 1: up at the top of Miela's family tree in her
00:33:26
Speaker 1: little bedroom, she prepared to sleep too. Miela placed the
00:33:34
Speaker 1: Sleepy Temple gemstone down on her bedside table, right where
00:33:39
Speaker 1: she could see it. She laid on her back and
00:33:44
Speaker 1: nuzzled her head into her pillow to get as comfortable
00:33:48
Speaker 1: as possible. She shut her eyes and began to breathe
00:33:54
Speaker 1: slowly in through her nose and out again. At that moment,
00:34:00
Speaker 1: the gemstone began to glow on her bedside table. Miela
00:34:06
Speaker 1: peeped open her eyes to see streams of multicolored light
00:34:12
Speaker 1: shooting out from the gemstone and projecting onto the ceiling
00:34:17
Speaker 1: of her bedroom. Swirling colors of purple, pink, and blue
00:34:24
Speaker 1: weaved in and out of each other across the ceiling
00:34:29
Speaker 1: and danced around the room. Miela's whole bedroom became encapsulated
00:34:37
Speaker 1: in the ethereal warm light, and she watched the relaxing
00:34:42
Speaker 1: light show with drowsy eyes and a smile. As the
00:34:49
Speaker 1: stunning beams blended and merged on the ceiling and walls
00:34:54
Speaker 1: in a myriad of shapes, Miela felt like she was
00:34:59
Speaker 1: floating in a sea full of soothing waves of colors.
00:35:06
Speaker 1: She closed her eyes and listened to the tune humming
00:35:11
Speaker 1: around her bedroom. As she focused, she quickly recognized the song.
00:35:20
Speaker 1: It was the tune that Lana the Bear had sung
00:35:24
Speaker 1: to open up the sleepy temple door. Lana's melodic lullaby
00:35:31
Speaker 1: sweetly serenaded Miela as she was bathed in the light
00:35:37
Speaker 1: of the gemstone. Miela's whole body felt warm, calm, and
00:35:46
Speaker 1: still as she listened to the mystical song that had
00:35:52
Speaker 1: her falling asleep in hardly any time at all. Mila
00:36:00
Speaker 1: and Leila's ambition had been right. The Sleepy Temple, hidden
00:36:08
Speaker 1: in the depths of Sleepy Forest did hold the answers
00:36:14
Speaker 1: for a perfect night's sleep. The magic just needed awakening.
00:36:22
Speaker 1: Thanks to Miela and Leela's quest and Lana's impressive singing skills,
00:36:30
Speaker 1: they had unlocked a hidden magic that would help any
00:36:36
Speaker 1: animal who found the Sleepy Temple for many years to come,
00:36:43
Speaker 1: and tonight Miela and Leilah would reap the benefits with
00:36:50
Speaker 1: the perfect night's sleep.
