Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome back to Koala Moon, a podcast of
00:00:14
Speaker 1: original children's bedtime stories and meditations designed to make bedtime
00:00:20
Speaker 1: a dream. Wow, Coco and I have just had some
00:00:23
Speaker 1: fabulous news from sleep Page Q. We've just learned that
00:00:27
Speaker 1: our longtime listeners Liesel and Michael and South Africa are
00:00:31
Speaker 1: finally in the gang. Their dad has just signed them
00:00:34
Speaker 1: up and they are officially in the Coco Club. Brilliant.
00:00:39
Speaker 1: Welcome both of you, and thank you Dad for now
00:00:41
Speaker 1: giving them all the stories and all the bonus episodes
00:00:44
Speaker 1: for hours more listening. And to the rest of you.
00:00:48
Speaker 1: Coco is tugging up my shirt to remind me to
00:00:51
Speaker 1: remind you that your special Christmas treat of the Read
00:00:54
Speaker 1: along Hector and Sonny book is waiting for you. Do
00:00:58
Speaker 1: you know what to do? Click the link in the
00:01:01
Speaker 1: show notes. Now, then, do you remember the last time
00:01:06
Speaker 1: we met Munshee, the mischievous raccoon. He enjoyed a huge
00:01:10
Speaker 1: summer feast, moving through the gardens of Strawberry Avenue, eating
00:01:14
Speaker 1: almost everything in sight. Well, Munchie can't always rely on
00:01:19
Speaker 1: other people to give him food, so he's now taken
00:01:22
Speaker 1: up his first ever job to buy his own groceries.
00:01:25
Speaker 1: And the place where he works couldn't be more perfect.
00:01:29
Speaker 1: This is Munschhee the Raccoon in Pete Satopia by Alicia Ainslie.
00:01:43
Speaker 1: There was a beautiful sunny day and Munshee the Raccoon
00:01:48
Speaker 1: walked down the street with a skip in his step.
00:01:51
Speaker 1: Today was a special day for Munchee. Today was his
00:01:56
Speaker 1: first day at his new job. Munshie never had a
00:02:00
Speaker 1: job before, so he didn't know what to expect. All
00:02:03
Speaker 1: he knew was that he was eager to get started
00:02:06
Speaker 1: and itching to learn. When Munshie was debating what to
00:02:10
Speaker 1: do for a job, he thought about what he loved
00:02:13
Speaker 1: to do. Everybody said that if he found a job
00:02:17
Speaker 1: he loved, then he would never work a day in
00:02:20
Speaker 1: his life. And once she liked the sound of that.
00:02:24
Speaker 1: So Munchie thought hard. As he thought, his mind drifted
00:02:29
Speaker 1: to what he was having for lunch, and so he
00:02:32
Speaker 1: realized that what he loved was eating, eating, and more eating.
00:02:39
Speaker 1: A job that involved food was essential. And when he
00:02:43
Speaker 1: saw the advertisement for a job but Mia and Marcello's
00:02:47
Speaker 1: Pizza Topia, it couldn't have been more perfect. Munshie the
00:02:53
Speaker 1: Raccoon loved pizza. It was one of his favorite foods
00:02:57
Speaker 1: in the whole world. He didn't mind what topping it had,
00:03:01
Speaker 1: whether it was covered in olives, pineapple, or chili peppers.
00:03:05
Speaker 1: Munch She would gratefully gobble it up without complaint. Mia
00:03:10
Speaker 1: and Marcello's Pizzatopia had been running for a couple of years,
00:03:14
Speaker 1: and the dynamic duo who owned it had built up
00:03:17
Speaker 1: a big reputation during that time. Munch She had heard
00:03:21
Speaker 1: many good things about the pizza at mir and Marcello's,
00:03:24
Speaker 1: but he was still yet to try it. He hoped
00:03:27
Speaker 1: that he would get to do lots of taste testing
00:03:29
Speaker 1: on the job. Now, with Munchi's first day of work ahead,
00:03:35
Speaker 1: he goodly skipped all the way to Mia and Marcello's Pizzatopia,
00:03:40
Speaker 1: eager to begin. As munch She approached the big red
00:03:44
Speaker 1: sign above the shop door, he could see that Mia
00:03:48
Speaker 1: and Marcello were already busy taking orders. Munch She stepped
00:03:53
Speaker 1: through the front door and announced, Hello, Mio and Marcello.
00:03:58
Speaker 1: I'm here for my first day of work. Marcello looked
00:04:03
Speaker 1: up over the shop counter, his beady eyes surveying Munshie
00:04:07
Speaker 1: with curiosity and then a glint of realization. The beady
00:04:13
Speaker 1: eyed frog called out in an Italian accent. Oh good,
00:04:18
Speaker 1: you're hear Mia, Mia, Dracuna is here. Then from the
00:04:24
Speaker 1: back of the pizza kitchen walked out a tall, blue
00:04:28
Speaker 1: tinged Italian greyhound wearing a purple hairnet over her ears.
00:04:34
Speaker 1: It was Mia who had interviewed Munchi for the job.
00:04:39
Speaker 1: Mia walked over and smiled at Munchie. Oh, well, come, Maunchi,
00:04:44
Speaker 1: it is good to see you, she said warmly. Are
00:04:49
Speaker 1: you ready to get started? Munchi nodded his head eagerly,
00:04:54
Speaker 1: and Mia led him through into the back of the shop.
00:04:58
Speaker 1: Mia gave Munchi tour of the pizza kitchen, which was
00:05:02
Speaker 1: already kicking into action for the day. There was a
00:05:05
Speaker 1: large wood fired oven already cooking up some pizzas, a
00:05:10
Speaker 1: long worktop sprinkled with flour, with several pizza dough bases
00:05:14
Speaker 1: already laid out waiting to be covered in toppings, and
00:05:19
Speaker 1: on the other side of the counter were buckets full
00:05:22
Speaker 1: of different ingredients and toppings for the pizzas. Whilst Mia
00:05:28
Speaker 1: gave Munshi a tour, Marcello the Frog answered the phone
00:05:32
Speaker 1: and took down food orders. They were piling up fast.
00:05:37
Speaker 1: There wasn't time to guide Munchhi through the pizza making process.
00:05:41
Speaker 1: He would have to learn as they went along. Mia
00:05:46
Speaker 1: handed Munchi a red apron and a blue hairnet to
00:05:49
Speaker 1: pop on his head, and then she instructed him to
00:05:53
Speaker 1: wash his paws in the kitchen sink. They had some
00:05:57
Speaker 1: orders to fulfill. Cri Cello toddled over to Mia and
00:06:02
Speaker 1: Munchi with his gangly frog legs and slapped a piece
00:06:05
Speaker 1: of paper down on the worktop. Here is your first order,
00:06:10
Speaker 1: ir bambino, Marcello commanded, twizzling his mustache with his fingers. Uh,
00:06:17
Speaker 1: the customer wants a bizza Luna with a side of
00:06:21
Speaker 1: a mozzarella stix. Mia commented with a smile. Ooh, very cheesy.
00:06:29
Speaker 1: Marcello responded with a grin and a very delicious Marcello
00:06:36
Speaker 1: and Mia were very different from one another, but they
00:06:39
Speaker 1: shared the same love for pizza. At first sight, anyone
00:06:45
Speaker 1: who saw Marcello and Mia together would never guess that
00:06:48
Speaker 1: they were married. Marcello was an oversized frog with a
00:06:53
Speaker 1: curly red mustache. He spoke fast and assertively, and often
00:07:00
Speaker 1: seemed as though he was permanently mad about something, but
00:07:04
Speaker 1: actually he was perfectly happy. Even though Marcello was big
00:07:10
Speaker 1: for a frog, he was no way near as tall
00:07:13
Speaker 1: as his wife, Mia. Mia was a beautiful, statuesque greyhound
00:07:20
Speaker 1: with a gentle voice and a gentle heart. Mia always
00:07:25
Speaker 1: had a smile on her face and was very popular
00:07:28
Speaker 1: with the customers who came back time and time again
00:07:32
Speaker 1: to their pizza topia. Mia and Marcello might have been
00:07:38
Speaker 1: polar opposites in many ways, but their differences complimented each
00:07:44
Speaker 1: other and they were un unstoppable team. However, since their
00:07:50
Speaker 1: pizza shop had become so popular, they needed an extra
00:07:54
Speaker 1: pair of hands to help them fulfill all the orders
00:07:56
Speaker 1: that came in, and bright eyed and bushy tail failed
00:08:00
Speaker 1: Munchie the raccoon seemed like the perfect fit, Monce. She
00:08:06
Speaker 1: only hoped that he was cut out for the job.
00:08:10
Speaker 1: Marcello waddled back to the front of the shop, where
00:08:13
Speaker 1: the phone was already ringing again, and Mia pinned the
00:08:18
Speaker 1: piece of paper up on the order board that hung
00:08:21
Speaker 1: above the pizza making area. Monce she read the order
00:08:25
Speaker 1: again and asked, what is a pizza Luna. Mia rubbed
00:08:32
Speaker 1: her paws together excitedly and replied, it is a very
00:08:39
Speaker 1: special type of cheese pizza. The cheese used on a
00:08:44
Speaker 1: pizza Luna comes from the moon Mounch. She gasped, You
00:08:50
Speaker 1: mean you use moon cheese on your pizzas? He questioned
00:08:55
Speaker 1: with intrigue. Mia the Greyhound nodded her head and responded, yes, well,
00:09:03
Speaker 1: only on a pizza Luna. That's what makes it so special.
00:09:10
Speaker 1: We use normal earth cheese on all other pizzas. Munchie
00:09:16
Speaker 1: was impressed. He had heard of moon cheese before, but
00:09:20
Speaker 1: he'd never tried it. Mia guided munch she through the
00:09:25
Speaker 1: process of making a pizza so that he could learn
00:09:28
Speaker 1: as they went along. To begin, she told him to
00:09:33
Speaker 1: scoop a ladle full of pizza sauce out of the
00:09:36
Speaker 1: first bucket and tip it onto the plain doughe bass
00:09:40
Speaker 1: on the worktop. Then he had to use the bottom
00:09:44
Speaker 1: of the ladle to spread out the pizza sauce all
00:09:48
Speaker 1: over the circular dough, leaving just a little space near
00:09:52
Speaker 1: the outer edges clear to act as the crust. Then
00:09:58
Speaker 1: they could get to work on the pizza tar. Making
00:10:02
Speaker 1: a pizza Luna was pretty simple as far as pizzas go.
00:10:06
Speaker 1: The only toppings monch she needed to use were a
00:10:10
Speaker 1: few chunks of moon cheese from one of the buckets,
00:10:13
Speaker 1: and then a drizzle of garlic oil from one of
00:10:16
Speaker 1: the sauce bottles. Mounch she picked out three slices of
00:10:21
Speaker 1: moon cheese for the pizza, and Mia told him to
00:10:25
Speaker 1: take one more for himself. It was important to taste
00:10:29
Speaker 1: test the food, she told him. He placed three slices
00:10:34
Speaker 1: evenly across the pizza base and popped the fourth slice
00:10:39
Speaker 1: into his mouth. Instantly, the moon cheese began to melt
00:10:44
Speaker 1: on his tongue. It tasted delicious. It was like no
00:10:50
Speaker 1: cheese he had tasted on earth before. It was otherworldly. Munch.
00:10:57
Speaker 1: She inspected his Pizza Luna. So far it seemed like
00:11:02
Speaker 1: there was a lot more pizza sauce than cheese, but
00:11:05
Speaker 1: Mia assured Munshi that the cheese would melt in the
00:11:08
Speaker 1: oven and spread out all over the base to create
00:11:12
Speaker 1: a perfectly gooey cheesy pizza. Then, last, but not least, Monch,
00:11:19
Speaker 1: she picked up the bottle of garlic oil and tipped
00:11:22
Speaker 1: it onto the pizza with a big dollop. Oh stop, stop,
00:11:27
Speaker 1: Mia cried out, softly, grabbing the bottle of garlicoil out
00:11:32
Speaker 1: of Monchy's hands. You've got to be very careful with
00:11:36
Speaker 1: the oils, otherwise they come out too fast. Watched this month.
00:11:44
Speaker 1: She watched as Mia expertly drizzled a small amount of
00:11:49
Speaker 1: garlic oil across the whole of the pizza with a
00:11:53
Speaker 1: flourish of her arm. She turned back to Munchie and
00:11:58
Speaker 1: saw the mixture of doubt an awe on his face,
00:12:02
Speaker 1: and she whispered, don't worry, you'll get the hang of it.
00:12:07
Speaker 1: It takes practice. Now that the pizza was ready for
00:12:13
Speaker 1: the oven, Mia ordered Munchi to grab one of the
00:12:17
Speaker 1: wooden pizza boards that were stacked up to the side
00:12:20
Speaker 1: of the oven. The pizza boards were big and round
00:12:24
Speaker 1: with long handles, and once she struggled to wrap his
00:12:28
Speaker 1: little hands around one, with all his might, he heaved
00:12:33
Speaker 1: a pizza board off the pile and brought it over
00:12:36
Speaker 1: to the pizza worktop, wobbling and catching his balance along
00:12:41
Speaker 1: the way. The pizza boards were a little too big
00:12:45
Speaker 1: for him. Mia smiled and said, now slide the board
00:12:52
Speaker 1: underneath the pizza dough and you're going to carry it
00:12:55
Speaker 1: over to the oven to cook. Munchie braced himself, took
00:13:02
Speaker 1: a deep breath, and slowly attempted to slide the thin
00:13:07
Speaker 1: wooden board underneath the delicate pizza dough. The board wobbled
00:13:14
Speaker 1: from side to side as he tried to balance the
00:13:17
Speaker 1: heavy board in his tiny hands, but eventually he managed
00:13:21
Speaker 1: to scoop up the pizza successfully. Munch sighed with relief
00:13:28
Speaker 1: and lifted the pizza up off the worktop before turning
00:13:32
Speaker 1: to face the oven. This would be the hardest part,
00:13:37
Speaker 1: trying to carry the pizza across the kitchen without dropping
00:13:41
Speaker 1: it mount She took it step by step and focused
00:13:47
Speaker 1: on keeping the wooden board straight as he slowly moved
00:13:51
Speaker 1: across the kitchen. The heavy board swayed from side to
00:13:56
Speaker 1: side with the pizza lunar perched on top, and beads
00:14:01
Speaker 1: of sweat began to trickle down Onnce's furry face. Don't
00:14:06
Speaker 1: drop it, don't drop it, he muttered to himself pleadingly.
00:14:13
Speaker 1: The pizza oven drew closer than Onnce. She could see
00:14:17
Speaker 1: the end in sight, with just a few more steps
00:14:22
Speaker 1: to go. Munch, she felt his little hands and wrists
00:14:26
Speaker 1: beginning to shake. They were getting very tired from carrying
00:14:30
Speaker 1: the heavy board. He quickened his footsteps and sped towards
00:14:35
Speaker 1: the oven, holding the pizza out ahead of him, just
00:14:40
Speaker 1: as his tiny hands gave in from the weight. He
00:14:44
Speaker 1: flung the pizza into the open oven and it landed
00:14:48
Speaker 1: with a satisfying PLoP inside Monce. She released the board
00:14:54
Speaker 1: and wiped the sweat from his brow with the back
00:14:57
Speaker 1: of his fuzzy arm. That was, he whispered to himself.
00:15:03
Speaker 1: Mia applauded Munchi for his efforts and stated that they
00:15:07
Speaker 1: needed to leave the pizza in the oven for ten
00:15:11
Speaker 1: minutes and then check on it to see if it
00:15:14
Speaker 1: was ready. Monce. She sighed and relaxed. He was proud
00:15:20
Speaker 1: of himself for making his first ever pizza, but there
00:15:24
Speaker 1: was no time to rest as Marcello shuffled back over
00:15:28
Speaker 1: to the pizza worktop and placed a new order on
00:15:32
Speaker 1: the board, one a pizza Vegetarianna and one pizza Fungi,
00:15:38
Speaker 1: Marcello called out before returning to the front of the shop. Monce.
00:15:43
Speaker 1: She looked at Mia, and she raised her eyebrows and said,
00:15:48
Speaker 1: are you readto make some more mounch. She took a
00:15:53
Speaker 1: deep breath, steadied himself, and replied eagerly, let's do this, muns.
00:16:01
Speaker 1: She and Miha spent the next couple of hours working
00:16:04
Speaker 1: away in the kitchen as order after order poured in
00:16:09
Speaker 1: from the phone months, she learned the different types of
00:16:12
Speaker 1: pizzas that they served and how to make each one.
00:16:16
Speaker 1: He had a go at frying mozzarella sticks and onion rings,
00:16:21
Speaker 1: and he boxed up each order, ensuring that everything was
00:16:25
Speaker 1: there ready to be picked up by the customers. It
00:16:29
Speaker 1: was a busy job, and Monce she was learning a
00:16:32
Speaker 1: lot at once, but he loved it. He was having
00:16:36
Speaker 1: so much fun. The hours ticked by, and munk She,
00:16:43
Speaker 1: Mia and Marcello worked equally as hard as each other.
00:16:48
Speaker 1: Customers came and went happily collecting their pizzas, and months
00:16:53
Speaker 1: she even heard one of them declare that the pizza
00:16:57
Speaker 1: to day was the best it had ever been. Monce,
00:17:01
Speaker 1: she smiled to himself as Mia nudged him, whispering, did
00:17:06
Speaker 1: you hear that you're unnatural? After a while, the phone
00:17:13
Speaker 1: calls died down and the flow of orders lessened, so
00:17:17
Speaker 1: that the three pizza shop workers could relax a little.
00:17:22
Speaker 1: Once she wiped his furry brow and sighed with relief.
00:17:27
Speaker 1: He had never worked so hard in his whole life.
00:17:33
Speaker 1: Marcello toddled over to the weary raccoon and asked, in
00:17:37
Speaker 1: his flamboyant tone, MUNCHI, how would you like to have
00:17:42
Speaker 1: a turn working at the front of the shop. It
00:17:46
Speaker 1: will be good for you to learn how to serve
00:17:49
Speaker 1: the customers and answer the phones while it is quiet, Monce,
00:17:55
Speaker 1: She gulped. Working out front was a big responsibility. What
00:18:01
Speaker 1: if he got something wrong? You felt safe hiding away
00:18:07
Speaker 1: in the back of the kitchen. But Mia urged him
00:18:11
Speaker 1: to have a go out front. You needed to learn
00:18:14
Speaker 1: how to serve the customers. Eventually, so Monce. She poured
00:18:19
Speaker 1: off his blue hairnet, dusted off his red apron, and
00:18:23
Speaker 1: proceeded to join Marcello at the front of the shop.
00:18:29
Speaker 1: Marcello showed Munchhi how to use the cash register and
00:18:33
Speaker 1: count out change, then he instructed him to answer the
00:18:38
Speaker 1: phone the next time it rang. After a few minutes,
00:18:44
Speaker 1: the shop phone began to ring. Monce She picked up
00:18:49
Speaker 1: the phone and answered, in his brightest, most chirpy voice. Hello,
00:18:56
Speaker 1: this is Mia and Marcello's Pizza Topia. May I take
00:19:00
Speaker 1: your order? He greeted the unknown customer. The voice on
00:19:05
Speaker 1: the other end paused and then asked, with puzzlement, Munchie,
00:19:13
Speaker 1: is that you? Monce. She recognized the voice instantly. It
00:19:19
Speaker 1: was his good friend slow Mo, the sloth Hi, Mo, Munch,
00:19:25
Speaker 1: she replied, cheerfully. Mo laughed a slow chuckle. What are
00:19:33
Speaker 1: you doing answering the phone at the pizza shop, he
00:19:39
Speaker 1: questioned Munce. She explained that he worked here now, it's
00:19:45
Speaker 1: my first day, he added, with pride. Slow Mo was
00:19:51
Speaker 1: very impressed and delighted that he could order a pizza
00:19:55
Speaker 1: from his good friend. Mo placed his order with Munchie
00:20:00
Speaker 1: and Monce. She wrote it down on a piece of paper.
00:20:04
Speaker 1: Moe wanted an eggplant pizza with extra cheese. Monce. She
00:20:10
Speaker 1: handed the order to Marcello, who was patiently watching and
00:20:14
Speaker 1: listening in and the mustachioed frog delivered it to Mia,
00:20:19
Speaker 1: who was still working in the kitchen. Munce she informed
00:20:24
Speaker 1: Mo that his pizza would be ready in twenty minutes
00:20:27
Speaker 1: and prepared to hang up the phone when Moe called
00:20:31
Speaker 1: out on the other end in his slow drawl, Munchie, please,
00:20:37
Speaker 1: can I ask you a favor? At my slow pace,
00:20:43
Speaker 1: it will take me a long long time to walk
00:20:48
Speaker 1: to the shop to collect my pizza. Would it be
00:20:54
Speaker 1: possible to have it delivered to my house? She looked
00:21:00
Speaker 1: to Marcello for advice. He wasn't sure if they offered deliveries.
00:21:06
Speaker 1: Monce she called out to Marcello and Mia in the kitchen.
00:21:11
Speaker 1: Can Mo have his pizza delivered please? Marcello replied, well,
00:21:17
Speaker 1: of course, segam, we always deliver for slow Mo. Monchi
00:21:23
Speaker 1: grinned and told Mo the good news. His sloth friend.
00:21:27
Speaker 1: Thanked Munchi for his help and wished him a great
00:21:31
Speaker 1: rest of his day at work, before hanging up the
00:21:34
Speaker 1: phone to wait for his pizza. Mia whipped up an
00:21:39
Speaker 1: eggplant pizza with extra cheese pronto and boxed it up
00:21:43
Speaker 1: for Slow Mo. The delicious scent of freshly melted cheese
00:21:49
Speaker 1: wafted up out of the box, and Monce she sniffed
00:21:53
Speaker 1: the air with longing. Slow Mo was lucky to get
00:21:57
Speaker 1: to eat this pizza soon. Then, to Munchy's surprise, Marcello
00:22:03
Speaker 1: handed him a helmet, a red and white striped motorbike helmet.
00:22:09
Speaker 1: What's this for, Munce, she asked with intrigue. Marcello replied
00:22:15
Speaker 1: with a smile as he passed Munchie some keys. Here's
00:22:19
Speaker 1: the food you you are going to deliver Slowmo's pizza
00:22:24
Speaker 1: to him. Take the pizza mobile outside the and that
00:22:28
Speaker 1: you'll be there in no time. Monce. She looked out
00:22:33
Speaker 1: the window and noticed the red and white, shiny moped
00:22:37
Speaker 1: parked outside the shop. He clapped his little hands together
00:22:42
Speaker 1: with glee and strapped the helmet to his head. This
00:22:47
Speaker 1: was so exciting, Munk. She picked up Slomo's pizza and
00:22:53
Speaker 1: took it outside with him. He placed the pizza box
00:22:57
Speaker 1: in the delivery bag strapped to the back of the
00:22:59
Speaker 1: mope and climbed aboard, turning the key and the ignition.
00:23:05
Speaker 1: The moped chugged to life with a grumble, and the
00:23:09
Speaker 1: moped vibrated gently beneath him. He held on to the handlebars,
00:23:15
Speaker 1: pressed down on the pedal with his foot, and the
00:23:19
Speaker 1: moped zoomed off into sleepy forest with Munchey and Moe's
00:23:24
Speaker 1: order on board. Munch She squealed with joy as he
00:23:28
Speaker 1: rode through the forest to Moe's house. When he had
00:23:33
Speaker 1: set off for work to day, he hadn't thought for
00:23:36
Speaker 1: a second that he would get an opportunity to deliver
00:23:39
Speaker 1: pizzas on the pizzamerbile, But here he was. This day
00:23:46
Speaker 1: was turning into the best day ever. Munch. She zoomed
00:23:52
Speaker 1: in and out of the trees, over bridges and through puddles,
00:23:56
Speaker 1: waving to pass as by as he went He spotted
00:24:00
Speaker 1: several of his sleepy forest friends as he drove by,
00:24:04
Speaker 1: and they all cried out with disbelief. Wow, that's Munchie.
00:24:10
Speaker 1: As he sped by, Munchie the raccoon fell on top
00:24:15
Speaker 1: of the world. Eventually he reached the bottom of the
00:24:20
Speaker 1: tree where slow Mo the sloth lived, and he parked
00:24:24
Speaker 1: up and hopped off the bike. He unpacked the pizza
00:24:28
Speaker 1: box from the delivery bag and called up the tree, Mo,
00:24:34
Speaker 1: I have your eggplant pizza. A smiley, slovenly face peeped
00:24:40
Speaker 1: out from behind a tree branch and gushed, Oh, thank you, Munchie.
00:24:48
Speaker 1: I can't wait to eat it, Monce. She watched as
00:24:54
Speaker 1: the friendly sloth slowly climbed down the tree to the
00:25:00
Speaker 1: forest floor and retrieved his pizza. Thank you again, Munchi
00:25:08
Speaker 1: Mo said, would you like a slice as a reward
00:25:13
Speaker 1: for your hard work? Bunche was tempted, but he shook
00:25:19
Speaker 1: his head professionally. No, thank you, Moe, he replied politely,
00:25:26
Speaker 1: you enjoy that pizza for yourself. It's best that I
00:25:30
Speaker 1: get back to the shop to continue helping with the orders.
00:25:34
Speaker 1: It gets very busy at Mia and Marcello's Pizza Topia.
00:25:40
Speaker 1: Waving goodbye to his friend, Munch. She jumped back on
00:25:44
Speaker 1: the pizza mobile and raced back through sleepy forest to
00:25:49
Speaker 1: return to the pizza shop. He passed by his friends
00:25:54
Speaker 1: all over again and they cheered him on as he
00:25:57
Speaker 1: zoomed by go Gee. They chanted with encouragement and Munch
00:26:04
Speaker 1: she grinned beneath his red and white striped helmet, pulling
00:26:10
Speaker 1: up but mir and Marcello's Pizza Topia once more. Munch
00:26:15
Speaker 1: she dashed back inside, ready to jump straight back in
00:26:20
Speaker 1: with the busy orders, but was surprised by what he saw.
00:26:25
Speaker 1: Mia and Marcello were sitting at the front counter, sharing
00:26:30
Speaker 1: a large pizza between them. They turned to Munchie and smiled,
00:26:36
Speaker 1: A well done, a Manchi. Marcello smiled, in a surprisingly
00:26:42
Speaker 1: jovial voice, you have done our very impressive job of today.
00:26:48
Speaker 1: Mia lifted up the pizza box and offered it towards Munchie,
00:26:53
Speaker 1: asking would you like a slice? Mounch. She gazed at
00:26:59
Speaker 1: the gooey, cheesy pizza and licked his lips. His tummy grumbled,
00:27:06
Speaker 1: and he reached out and grabbed a slice. He definitely
00:27:11
Speaker 1: wanted a slice, maybe even three Monch. She shoveled the
00:27:17
Speaker 1: slice of pizza in his mouth and gratefully enjoyed the
00:27:21
Speaker 1: delicious flavors. This really was one of the best pizza
00:27:27
Speaker 1: places around. He was proud to work here. Monce. She
00:27:33
Speaker 1: finished his slice and asked, are we not making any
00:27:38
Speaker 1: more orders? Mia and Marcello giggled and told him to
00:27:44
Speaker 1: sit down. Even pizza makers need to have a break
00:27:50
Speaker 1: every now and then, Manchi, Mia replied, offering him another
00:27:56
Speaker 1: slice of pizza, which he delightedly took. Monce, She smiled
00:28:02
Speaker 1: and relaxed. He did need a break. Actually, it had
00:28:07
Speaker 1: been a very busy day, and it had been torturous
00:28:11
Speaker 1: making all these delicious pizzas without getting to eat any
00:28:15
Speaker 1: of his own. Munce, She was relieved to finally sit down,
00:28:20
Speaker 1: relax with Mia and Marcello, and devour some pizza. Munchi
00:28:27
Speaker 1: was officially a part of the team. Mia and Marcello
00:28:31
Speaker 1: had been so impressed with his efforts today, and most importantly,
00:28:37
Speaker 1: Munchi was proud of himself. He had learnt a lot
00:28:41
Speaker 1: of new skills and approached it all with a positive attitude. Plus,
00:28:47
Speaker 1: riding around on the pizzamobile had been so much fun.
00:28:52
Speaker 1: As Mounce, She hung up his apron and set off
00:28:55
Speaker 1: for home at the end of his shift. Munce she
00:28:58
Speaker 1: was already looking forward to returning to work tomorrow. As
00:29:04
Speaker 1: the sun set in a distance. Once she looked back
00:29:08
Speaker 1: at the sign above the shop door and thought to himself,
00:29:14
Speaker 1: Mia Marcello and munch, She's pizzatopia as a good ring
00:29:20
Speaker 1: to it. Then he set off home, skipping all the
00:29:25
Speaker 1: way with a box of moon cheese in his little
00:29:30
Speaker 1: raccoon hands. You wat
