It had been a few months since Peanut the Armadillo returned from his holiday to Costa Rica. Peanut worked so hard as a guardian of Sleepy Forest, and his holiday had done him the world of good. He returned from his vacation feeling rested, re energized, and full of entertaining stories to tell his friends. He told them all about how he had drunk from coconuts on the beach, swam past Costa Rica's coral reef, learned how to salsa dance from dancing jaguars, eaten the most delicious foods, and enjoyed lots of sleepy siestas. Everyone had been so envious of Peanut's delightful holiday, and he looked back on it all very fondly. Now that a few months had passed since his trip to Costa Rica, who was already starting to get itchy feet and dreamt of heading out on holiday again. But Peanut didn't know where to go. So many places in the world sounded wonderful that he didn't quite know where to start. One of his friends had recently been to Iceland and they said it was glorious. They saw huge whales in the sea and icy glaciers across the land. Plus they saw the famous multicolored Northern Land in sky. But Peanut had also read in a magazine about a place called Tokyo in Japan that looked rather impressive. In Tokyo there were ancient temples and zen gardens full of cherry blossom trees. Peanut also thought that the soushi looked very tasty. There were so many good options out there, and Peanut wanted to explore as many countries as he could, but the question was where should he go next. One morning, Peanut was enjoying a nice, warm cup of tea on his work break when the post arrived. A cheerful pigeon delivered a letter to Peanut before fluttering away. What have you got there, Peanut? His friend Arnie the Armadillo asked Peanut wasn't sure. He wasn't expecting any male today. He tore open the envelope open slid out the card inside. As Peanut read, he realized that it was a wedding invitation. Peanut's good friend Squeaky the Otter was getting married to her sweetheart called Snub in their homeland of Scotland. This was perfect. Peanut had an opportunity to take another holiday, and Squeaky and Snub had done all the deciding for him. He would fly to Scotland for his next vacation. The wedding was in one month's time on the Isle of Aaron, which was a small island just off the coast of Scotland. Peanut immediately booked his flight for the trip and sent an RSVP to his friends letting them know he would be attending their special day.
