Speaker 1: got coming. So let's now get onto tonight's story where
00:01:40
Speaker 1: we're deep and sleepy forest and we are getting ready
00:01:43
Speaker 1: to celebrate Labor Day with Peanut the Armadillo and his friends.
00:01:48
Speaker 1: Have you heard of Labour Day before. Well, it's a
00:01:51
Speaker 1: special day celebrated in many countries around the world where
00:01:55
Speaker 1: everyone who works hard gets the day off to spend
00:01:58
Speaker 1: with their friends and family, or on their own if
00:02:01
Speaker 1: they prefer. The point is it's a day off to
00:02:04
Speaker 1: rest such an important pastime. This year, for Labour Day,
00:02:10
Speaker 1: Peanut and his friends have chosen to throw a party
00:02:13
Speaker 1: to celebrate the day. There are a few finishing touches
00:02:17
Speaker 1: left to do, so Peanut sets out on a mission
00:02:21
Speaker 1: and manages to create quite a stir on the way.
00:02:24
Speaker 1: This is Peanut the Armadillo's Labor Day Party by Alicia Ainslie.
00:02:37
Speaker 1: It had been quite a while since Peanut, the jet
00:02:40
Speaker 1: setting Armadillo had taken a vacation. Recently, he had caught
00:02:45
Speaker 1: the travel bug thanks to his exciting vacations to Costa
00:02:48
Speaker 1: Rica and Scotland, and he spent most of his time
00:02:51
Speaker 1: daydreaming about the places he would visit next. All the
00:02:56
Speaker 1: other Armadillos in Sleepy Forest enjoyed it when Peanut went
00:02:59
Speaker 1: away on holiday too, because he always came back with
00:03:03
Speaker 1: lots of recommendations of where to go and what to
00:03:06
Speaker 1: do that they had then used as inspiration for their
00:03:09
Speaker 1: upcoming holidays. As the guardians of Sleepy Forest, the Armadillos
00:03:15
Speaker 1: worked harder than most other creatures. They barely ever took
00:03:19
Speaker 1: a day off and dedicated their lives to watching over
00:03:23
Speaker 1: the forest and everyone in it. But there was one
00:03:27
Speaker 1: day of the year that the Sleepy Forest Armadillos always honored,
00:03:32
Speaker 1: and that was Labor Day. Labour Day was held on
00:03:36
Speaker 1: the first Monday of every September and was dedicated to
00:03:40
Speaker 1: those who work hard all year long. On Labour Day,
00:03:45
Speaker 1: the Armadillos had a rule that none of them could work. Instead,
00:03:50
Speaker 1: they would relax and take the day off. This year,
00:03:54
Speaker 1: for Labour Day, the Armadillos had decided to throw a
00:03:57
Speaker 1: small party. Often, they kept to themselves on Labour Day
00:04:01
Speaker 1: and slept all day long catching up on their forty wins.
00:04:06
Speaker 1: But this year they wanted to celebrate in style. The
00:04:11
Speaker 1: Armadillos put together a committee tasked with arranging the event,
00:04:16
Speaker 1: which Peanut, the Armadillo was a part of They decided
00:04:21
Speaker 1: that they would have a big potlup meal where everybody
00:04:24
Speaker 1: brought a plate of food for the table, and they
00:04:27
Speaker 1: would hire the Treetop Kids to perform music at the party.
00:04:32
Speaker 1: There would be a few games that the Armadillos could
00:04:35
Speaker 1: play if they chose to, like Jenger and Connect four,
00:04:39
Speaker 1: and there would be craft tables too in case anyone
00:04:42
Speaker 1: wanted some quiet, creative time. The main purpose of the
00:04:47
Speaker 1: party was for everyone to relax and spend some time
00:04:51
Speaker 1: together outside of work. It was going to be a
00:04:55
Speaker 1: lovely special Labor Day. The day before Labor Day, Peanut
00:05:01
Speaker 1: the Armadillo set out to collect the last few things
00:05:05
Speaker 1: that he had been assigned to get for the party.
00:05:08
Speaker 1: He needed to buy some frosted cupcakes from Betty Badger's
00:05:11
Speaker 1: Bakery and choose the types of lights they wanted to
00:05:15
Speaker 1: set up as decorations. He also needed to check that
00:05:19
Speaker 1: all the Armadillos had received their invitations in the Pigeon
00:05:23
Speaker 1: Post so that everybody knew what time the party started tomorrow.
00:05:29
Speaker 1: First of all, Peanut made his way through Sleepy Forest
00:05:33
Speaker 1: to Betty Badger's Bakery. Peanut had been buying sweet treats
00:05:38
Speaker 1: bread and pastries from her for years. It was the
00:05:41
Speaker 1: best bakery around. He had pre ordered two dozen frosted
00:05:47
Speaker 1: cupcakes for the party and needed to collect them before
00:05:51
Speaker 1: she closed up shop for the day. Peanut arrived at
00:05:55
Speaker 1: Betty Badger's bakery just after midday, and the scent of
00:06:00
Speaker 1: freshly baked bread greeted him. On arrival. There was a
00:06:04
Speaker 1: queue of hungry customers snaking out the bakery door, and
00:06:09
Speaker 1: Peanut admired the baked goods on display in the window.
00:06:14
Speaker 1: He licked his lips as his eyes fell across the croissants,
00:06:18
Speaker 1: custard tarts, bagels, and doughnuts on display. Peanuts Tommy started
00:06:25
Speaker 1: to grumble and he debated grabbing a treat to go.
00:06:30
Speaker 1: He eventually reached the front of the queue and Betty
00:06:34
Speaker 1: Badger greeted him with a grin. Good day, Peanut, She smiled,
00:06:40
Speaker 1: have you come to collect your cupcakes? Peanut nodded his
00:06:45
Speaker 1: little head, and Betty Badger disappeared into the back room
00:06:48
Speaker 1: where the kitchen was. She re emerged with two dozen
00:06:53
Speaker 1: frosted cupcakes in a cardboard box. Here you go, she said, proudly,
00:06:59
Speaker 1: placed the box carefully on the counter. Would you like
00:07:03
Speaker 1: anything else while you're here. It's on the house. Peanuts
00:07:09
Speaker 1: tummy let out a gurgle of delight, and they both giggled.
00:07:15
Speaker 1: I'll take that as a yes. Betty Badger chortled, what
00:07:19
Speaker 1: would you like? Peanut browsed the selection of baked goods
00:07:25
Speaker 1: on offer and picked out a delicious looking cinnamon roll.
00:07:30
Speaker 1: Betty Badger picked it out with a pair of tongs
00:07:33
Speaker 1: and placed it in a paper bag, handing it over
00:07:37
Speaker 1: to Peanut with a wink enjoy, she whispered. Peanut liked
00:07:44
Speaker 1: Betty Badger. She was always so friendly to everyone who
00:07:48
Speaker 1: came into her bakery and treated her regular customers well.
00:07:53
Speaker 1: Her bakery was open every day of the year except
00:07:57
Speaker 1: for Christmas, and she always had customers coming through her door.
00:08:03
Speaker 1: Betty Badger worked very hard all year long, just like
00:08:07
Speaker 1: Peanut and his armadillo friends did. Just as Peanut was
00:08:13
Speaker 1: about to leave with his cinnamon roll in the box
00:08:16
Speaker 1: of cupcakes, he paused, Betty, he said, turning back, what
00:08:24
Speaker 1: are you doing tomorrow? Betty Badger shrugged her shoulders and replied,
00:08:31
Speaker 1: I'll be here like always. Peanut frowned. Did Betty not
00:08:37
Speaker 1: take Labor Day off work? As well as Christmas, He
00:08:40
Speaker 1: asked her, do you know what Labor Day is? Betty
00:08:45
Speaker 1: admitted that she had heard of it, but she had
00:08:48
Speaker 1: never taken the day off. Her customers would miss her
00:08:51
Speaker 1: if she closed the bakery doors for the day. Peanut
00:08:56
Speaker 1: was sure that her customers wouldn't mind Betty taking a
00:08:59
Speaker 1: day off for her to rest once in a while,
00:09:02
Speaker 1: especially on Labour Day, the day when creatures who work
00:09:06
Speaker 1: hard are supposed to take the day off to wind down.
00:09:11
Speaker 1: Peanut decided to invite Betty to the Armadillo's Labor Day party.
00:09:17
Speaker 1: She deserved a day off just like them, and he
00:09:21
Speaker 1: was sure that she would love the music and games
00:09:24
Speaker 1: they had planned. Betty was grateful for the invitation and
00:09:29
Speaker 1: she said that she would think about it. She hadn't
00:09:32
Speaker 1: ever taken the day off for Labor Day before, but
00:09:36
Speaker 1: maybe this year could be the start of a new tradition.
00:09:41
Speaker 1: Peanut thanked Betty Badger for the cupcakes and the free
00:09:45
Speaker 1: cinnamon roll and said that he hoped to see her
00:09:47
Speaker 1: at the party tomorrow. Then he went on his way
00:09:51
Speaker 1: to complete his next errand next Peanut had to go
00:09:56
Speaker 1: see Maggie the Malabar squirrel about the lighting for the part.
00:10:01
Speaker 1: Margie lived in a beautiful tree house in a middle
00:10:04
Speaker 1: a sleepy forest, and he was known for being an
00:10:07
Speaker 1: expert in lighting design. Peanut had enlisted Margie to help
00:10:13
Speaker 1: decorate the trees around the party grounds tomorrow, but he
00:10:17
Speaker 1: still had to pick what type of lights he wanted.
00:10:21
Speaker 1: Peanut gobbled up his cinnamon roll on the way and
00:10:25
Speaker 1: licked his fingers clean. He didn't want a single morsel
00:10:30
Speaker 1: to go to waste. He couldn't wait to tuck into
00:10:33
Speaker 1: the cupcakes tomorrow. Reaching the base of the tree Margie
00:10:39
Speaker 1: lived in, Peanut cowed up. Margie, it's me Peanut. I'm
00:10:45
Speaker 1: here to look at the lights. A multi colored furry
00:10:49
Speaker 1: face suddenly peeked out of the treehouse window, and Peanut
00:10:53
Speaker 1: spotted Margie. I'll be right down, Margie called back, disappearing inside.
00:11:01
Speaker 1: Peanut placed the box of cupcakes on the ground and
00:11:05
Speaker 1: rested at the bottom of the tree. A few seconds later,
00:11:09
Speaker 1: Margie climbed down the tree and landed by Peanut's side,
00:11:13
Speaker 1: holding up two different strings of light. Okay, I've got
00:11:19
Speaker 1: two options for you, Margie said excitedly. You can either
00:11:24
Speaker 1: go with the fairy lights that glow different colors, or
00:11:28
Speaker 1: the lantern lights that come in either silver or gold.
00:11:33
Speaker 1: Unless you just want candles, I can do candles instead
00:11:37
Speaker 1: if you prefer. Peanut inspected the two types of string
00:11:41
Speaker 1: lights and opted for the fairy lights that changed colors.
00:11:46
Speaker 1: Multi colored lights sounded much more festive for a daytime party.
00:11:52
Speaker 1: Margie smiled and said, an excellent choice. I will set
00:11:57
Speaker 1: them up first thing in the morning. Peanut thanked Margie
00:12:02
Speaker 1: for his help and admired his multi colored fur. His
00:12:06
Speaker 1: body and face were covered in varying splurges of red, orange, yellow, black,
00:12:12
Speaker 1: and purple fur. He was the most vibrant squirrel Peanut
00:12:18
Speaker 1: had ever seen. Peanut wondered if the lights would be
00:12:22
Speaker 1: as colorful as Margie himself. Margie asked pe Nut to
00:12:28
Speaker 1: remind him what time the party started so that he
00:12:31
Speaker 1: could ensure the lights were all set up in time,
00:12:35
Speaker 1: and Peanut told him two o'clock. Margie clapped his hands
00:12:40
Speaker 1: together and rubbed them, declaring he had better get to work.
00:12:44
Speaker 1: Then he scurried back up to his tree house to
00:12:48
Speaker 1: get the lights ready for tomorrow. Peanut picked back up
00:12:53
Speaker 1: the box of cupcakes and looked up at the tree
00:12:56
Speaker 1: top to see Margie bundling up wires and wires of
00:13:00
Speaker 1: string lights. There must have been thousands of them. Peanut
00:13:06
Speaker 1: thought to himself, what a hard job it must be
00:13:09
Speaker 1: untangling and putting up lights all the time. Margie worked hard,
00:13:15
Speaker 1: just like the Armadillos did. Then Peanut thought Margie should
00:13:21
Speaker 1: stay to enjoy the party after he had finished putting
00:13:24
Speaker 1: up the lights tomorrow. He would deserve some fun after
00:13:29
Speaker 1: working all morning. Peanut called up to Margie. Hey, Margie,
00:13:36
Speaker 1: you should stay for the party to morrow after you've
00:13:38
Speaker 1: put up the lights. Margie was flattered and called back down.
00:13:45
Speaker 1: Are you sure I don't want to crash your party?
00:13:49
Speaker 1: Peanut replied yes, I'm sure you can bring a friend
00:13:53
Speaker 1: too if you want. Margie smiled and answered, hukay, we'll
00:14:00
Speaker 1: stay for the party tomorrow. Thanks Peanut, I know just
00:14:05
Speaker 1: who to invite to. Peanut waved goodbye to Margie and
00:14:10
Speaker 1: headed off through the forest. He had one last thing
00:14:14
Speaker 1: to do before the party. Clover the Armadillo had been
00:14:19
Speaker 1: in charge of sending out all the invitations to their
00:14:22
Speaker 1: Armadillo friends for the Labor Day party, and she had
00:14:26
Speaker 1: sent them by pigeon post two weeks earlier. She didn't
00:14:30
Speaker 1: have time to visit the post office today to check
00:14:33
Speaker 1: for any last minute RSVPs. So Peanut offered to pop
00:14:38
Speaker 1: by the post office on his way home. He walked
00:14:42
Speaker 1: up to the post office door and stepped into the shop.
00:14:47
Speaker 1: There were shelves and shelves of mail precisely organized into
00:14:52
Speaker 1: alphabetical order behind the front desk, where a pigeon sat
00:14:57
Speaker 1: stamping letters. Peanut wreckgized her immediately. Hello, Pippa, do you
00:15:04
Speaker 1: have any post for me? He greeted the pigeon warmly.
00:15:09
Speaker 1: Pipper the pigeon looked up from her desk and responded,
00:15:14
Speaker 1: good afternoon, Peanut. Yes, I have a couple of rsvp's
00:15:21
Speaker 1: for you right here. She turned around and picked a
00:15:26
Speaker 1: few pieces of mail off the shelf with her wing
00:15:29
Speaker 1: and passed them to Peanut. He had a quick flick
00:15:33
Speaker 1: through and saw that his friends Jammo and Peppy had
00:15:37
Speaker 1: finally rsvpe that they would be coming to the Labor
00:15:40
Speaker 1: Day party. Perfect. He thought those were the last responses
00:15:46
Speaker 1: we were waiting on. He thanked Pipper the pigeon and
00:15:50
Speaker 1: turned to go when another familiar face walked through the
00:15:54
Speaker 1: post office door. It was Lana the Bear. She looked
00:15:59
Speaker 1: a little dischev and said hello with a breathy tone,
00:16:03
Speaker 1: as if she was out of breath. Peanut asked her
00:16:07
Speaker 1: with concern, are you all right, Lana. Lana smiled and
00:16:13
Speaker 1: batted her pour in the air flippantly before replying, Oh,
00:16:18
Speaker 1: don't worry about me. I've just been rushing around all day.
00:16:23
Speaker 1: I have so many people needing my help to get
00:16:27
Speaker 1: to sleep at the moment that I barely have had
00:16:30
Speaker 1: time to think. So many people need my lullaby right now.
00:16:37
Speaker 1: I've had to rush here to post a letter in
00:16:39
Speaker 1: between clients today. It all go for me right now.
00:16:45
Speaker 1: Pippa the pigeon listened and suggested, you need to take
00:16:51
Speaker 1: a break, Lana, but Lana said she would be fine
00:16:55
Speaker 1: and passed her letter over the desk. Peanut was starting
00:17:00
Speaker 1: to think that there were a lot of creatures in
00:17:03
Speaker 1: sleepy forests who deserve to take the day off and
00:17:07
Speaker 1: celebrate Labor Day too. There were lots of creatures who
00:17:11
Speaker 1: worked hard every day in many different ways, and they
00:17:16
Speaker 1: deserved an opportunity to let loose, relax, and congratulate themselves
00:17:21
Speaker 1: on their hard work and determination. Peanut had an idea.
00:17:28
Speaker 1: He turned back to Pipper the pigeon and asked, do
00:17:32
Speaker 1: you have a photocopier, she could, why, Yes, of course
00:17:39
Speaker 1: we do. Peanut grinned and asked Pipper the Pigeon to
00:17:44
Speaker 1: make lots of photocopies of the invitation to their Labor
00:17:49
Speaker 1: Day party. He requested that the invitations be delivered to
00:17:54
Speaker 1: as many creatures in sleepy forests as possible. Hopefully, how
00:18:00
Speaker 1: short notice it was, some creatures would be able to
00:18:03
Speaker 1: join them for the Labor Day celebrations. Peanut turned to
00:18:09
Speaker 1: Lana the Bear and added, you are very welcome to
00:18:13
Speaker 1: come to our Labor Day party tomorrow too. Lana, it
00:18:17
Speaker 1: sounds like you work really hard and you deserve a
00:18:21
Speaker 1: day off to reflect on all the amazing work you
00:18:24
Speaker 1: do for others. Lana sighed gratefully and thanked him for
00:18:30
Speaker 1: his offer. It sounded like a lovely idea, and she
00:18:34
Speaker 1: would move some clients around tomorrow to be there. Pipper
00:18:39
Speaker 1: the Pigeon did as Peanut asked and printed out dozens
00:18:43
Speaker 1: of photocopies of the invitations for the party. Then she
00:18:48
Speaker 1: placed them in a delivery bag ready to be sent
00:18:51
Speaker 1: out on the next shift. Peanut thanked Pepper for her
00:18:57
Speaker 1: help and turned to go, before adding, on his way out,
00:19:01
Speaker 1: you are invited to the party too. By the way,
00:19:05
Speaker 1: you work very hard delivering the post, so you definitely
00:19:09
Speaker 1: need a day off to join us. Pipper the pigeon
00:19:13
Speaker 1: cooed with delight and Peanut waved goodbye. He waddled off
00:19:19
Speaker 1: through the forest with the cupcakes in his little arms.
00:19:23
Speaker 1: He hoped that he had got enough cupcakes for all
00:19:25
Speaker 1: the guests that would be arriving at the party tomorrow.
00:19:30
Speaker 1: That evening, the Armadillos finished up their work for the
00:19:34
Speaker 1: day and wished each other farewell as they drifted off
00:19:38
Speaker 1: to bed. They all eagerly awaited the party the next day,
00:19:43
Speaker 1: with no idea what was in store. The Armadillos slept
00:19:48
Speaker 1: for a lovely sixteen hours that night. When they awoke
00:19:53
Speaker 1: on Labor Day, they were fully rested and ready to
00:19:57
Speaker 1: party for a few hours least. Then they would disappear
00:20:02
Speaker 1: back off to sleep again to rest and recuperate like
00:20:05
Speaker 1: they deserved. The Armadillos all dressed up their shells for
00:20:11
Speaker 1: the party, and some even smudged glitter across their faces.
00:20:17
Speaker 1: They were all so looking forward to their party, and
00:20:21
Speaker 1: one by one the party committee arrived on site to
00:20:25
Speaker 1: help set up and add the finishing touches. Each armadillo
00:20:32
Speaker 1: brought a different dish or plate of food and placed
00:20:36
Speaker 1: it on the buffet table they would all dig in later.
00:20:41
Speaker 1: Peanut laid out the frosted cupcakes he had bought from
00:20:45
Speaker 1: Betty Badger's Bakery and made sure that all the jugs
00:20:49
Speaker 1: of juice were filled to the brim. Margie the Malabar
00:20:54
Speaker 1: Squirrel had arrived early to make sure that all the
00:20:57
Speaker 1: lights were working properly, and the forest looked perfectly festive
00:21:03
Speaker 1: as the lights twinkled from the trees. Meanwhile, the four
00:21:08
Speaker 1: tree Top kids set up their musical instruments on the
00:21:11
Speaker 1: stage and started warming up their voices, ready to perform.
00:21:17
Speaker 1: The scene was set, and the party committee applauded each
00:21:21
Speaker 1: other on a job well done. Now all they had
00:21:26
Speaker 1: to do was wait for the rest of their armadillo
00:21:29
Speaker 1: guests to arrive. Peanut's friends Scout turned to Margie the
00:21:35
Speaker 1: Malabar Squirrel and thanked him for doing such a good
00:21:39
Speaker 1: job with the lights. It looks fantastic, he gushed, and
00:21:45
Speaker 1: Margie blushed humbly. I hope you will stay for a
00:21:49
Speaker 1: cupcake and a drink, he added. Margie said that of
00:21:53
Speaker 1: course he would be staying. In fact, his friends Bertie
00:21:58
Speaker 1: and Bobby would be coming to join to shortly. They
00:22:01
Speaker 1: couldn't wait. Scout the Armadillo smiled politely. He supposed that
00:22:08
Speaker 1: there was no problem with Margie inviting a couple of friends,
00:22:11
Speaker 1: since he had helped with the decorations. However, it soon
00:22:17
Speaker 1: became clear that more than just Margie, Bertie, and Bobby
00:22:22
Speaker 1: would be attending the Armadillo's party. One by one, creatures
00:22:28
Speaker 1: from all over Sleepy Forests started turning up ready to party.
00:22:36
Speaker 1: The Armadillo's small shindig for Labour Day had turned into
00:22:40
Speaker 1: a big one. What is going on? An armadillo called
00:22:46
Speaker 1: Peppy cried, looking around at all the unfamiliar faces at
00:22:51
Speaker 1: the party. This party was supposed to be just for us,
00:22:56
Speaker 1: Scout said, as he watched a pigeon help itself to
00:23:00
Speaker 1: the food on the table and duncle tortilla chip into
00:23:03
Speaker 1: the bowl of guacamole. Noticing his friend's confusion, Peanut told
00:23:10
Speaker 1: them I invited them all. I asked the pigeon post
00:23:14
Speaker 1: to spread the word of our party to as many
00:23:17
Speaker 1: creatures as possible. It's quite the turnout at such short notice,
00:23:22
Speaker 1: don't you think the other Armadillos looked surprised. Why had
00:23:27
Speaker 1: Peanut invited all these other creatures to their party. It
00:23:32
Speaker 1: was supposed to be just for them, but why does
00:23:37
Speaker 1: it have to be just for us? Peanut asked, There
00:23:41
Speaker 1: are lots of creatures here in Sleepy Forest that work
00:23:44
Speaker 1: just as hard as we do. They should get a
00:23:47
Speaker 1: chance to take the day off and celebrate two and
00:23:51
Speaker 1: what better way to get to know the other creatures
00:23:55
Speaker 1: of the forest than at a party. The other armored
00:24:00
Speaker 1: looked around and started to soften as they saw how
00:24:04
Speaker 1: much fun all their guests were having. Everybody was mingling
00:24:10
Speaker 1: and chatting, and the treetop kids were having a great
00:24:14
Speaker 1: time performing for such an appreciative audience. Vanella the Unicorn
00:24:20
Speaker 1: and Lana the Bear hadn't left the dance floor since
00:24:24
Speaker 1: they'd arrived. The Armadillo's Labor Day party was a hit.
00:24:30
Speaker 1: Now they just had to enjoy it for themselves too.
00:24:35
Speaker 1: Scout turned to Peanut with a smile and said, you
00:24:39
Speaker 1: know what, You're right, Peanut, Labor Day is for everyone
00:24:44
Speaker 1: to enjoy. I'm glad you extended the invitation to more creatures.
00:24:51
Speaker 1: The Armadillos got stuck in meeting lots of new Sleepy
00:24:56
Speaker 1: Forest neighbors and catching up with those they hadn't seen
00:25:00
Speaker 1: in a while. Their Labor Day party was a great success,
00:25:05
Speaker 1: and everyone had a wonderful time. As the afternoon went
00:25:11
Speaker 1: on and the party came to its clothes, the creatures
00:25:16
Speaker 1: of Sleepy Forest thanked the Armadillos for being such tremendous hosts.
00:25:23
Speaker 1: I really needed this, Betty Badger admitted, shaking Scout the
00:25:29
Speaker 1: Armadillo's hand as she said goodbye. I haven't taken a
00:25:34
Speaker 1: proper day off in years. I need to remember to
00:25:38
Speaker 1: do it more often. Scout smiled and thanked Betty for coming.
00:25:45
Speaker 1: He was delighted that she had enjoyed the party and
00:25:48
Speaker 1: made the most of Labor Day. Pippa from the Pigeon
00:25:53
Speaker 1: Post Office flew over to Peanut and hooted, thanks a
00:25:58
Speaker 1: bunch for inviting us peace. I am so glad I
00:26:03
Speaker 1: took a break today to come to the party. I've
00:26:07
Speaker 1: made lots of new friends, and those cupcakes were delicious.
00:26:14
Speaker 1: Peanut hugged his new friend goodbye, and she flew off home.
00:26:20
Speaker 1: Eventually there were only the Armadillos of Sleepy Forest left.
00:26:26
Speaker 1: They gazed at each other appreciatively They were proud to
00:26:30
Speaker 1: have extended their Labor Day party to everyone who deserved
00:26:35
Speaker 1: a day of celebration. As they glanced around at all
00:26:40
Speaker 1: the decorations and left over food that needed clearing up,
00:26:45
Speaker 1: they yawned and collectively decided that they would clean up tomorrow.
00:26:53
Speaker 1: Peanut and his friends retreated back to their burrows, complete,
00:27:00
Speaker 1: the partied out, and in serious need of a long,
00:27:05
Speaker 1: sixteen hour nap. It would be back to work tomorrow
00:27:10
Speaker 1: for them, but for now they had a long, luxurious
00:27:16
Speaker 1: sleep ahead of them.
