On a warm starlit evening up in the clouds, Rian and Cosmo, the Dreamgivers, prepared for their nightly duties. Every evening, the fairy sized father and son flew around the world creating dreams for slumbering families and their pets. They landed on the roofs of houses and peered in through windows to sprinkle magical dream dust onto the sleeping heads of the families inside. Using this magical dream dust, they opened up dream portals to see inside the minds of their sleeping customer. Then the real fun could begin. Orion and Cosmo took turns conjuring up wonderful fantasies for the sleeping person. Sometimes they were fun, and sometimes they were relaxing and peaceful. On the odd occasion, Orion and Cosmo worked together to create the perfect dream, whomever the person was, Orion and Cosmo always left them with a happy, pleasant reverie to enjoy for the rest of the night. Delivering dreams to people and animals of the world was an important task, so Orion and Cosmo needed to ensure that they were properly prepared to do their job well. On this very night, they both dusted off their wings and made sure their satchels of golden dream dust were stocked up. They ate a hearty dinner of casserole with dumplings and a sweet apple crumble for dessert. Then they made sure their pillows were perfectly plumped up and their bed sheets pulled back so that they could fall blissfully into bed to rest when they returned home from a long night of flying around the world.
