There are many things that happen every single year. There's specific things. There'll only be one June the first every year, for example, and chances are there'll only be one September the fifth, come to that, and your birthday will happen just the once each and every year. Thinking about it, so on my birthday. Some of the things that happen every year are traditions that date back hundreds of years. But there's something happening tonight for the first time ever, something that will after this take place every single year. I was as surprised as you will be when you find out what it is. How is it possible? I wondered to myself that this has never ever taken place before. For the first time ever, all the tooth fairies of the world are meeting up. They picked the highest point of a very high mountain near Sleepy Forest, a mountain that looks a bit like a tooth if you squint at it a little bit and work your imagination very hard. Indeed, it all came about because a tooth fairy from England went on holiday to Spain, and while she was there she found out that tooth fairy marries don't really exist in Spain at all. Instead, her little mouse visits all the children who've lost a tooth, sneaking under pillows when replacing teeth with a few coins by way of thank you. The English tooth fairy, who we really should refer to as Annabel, came across a museum in Madrid that told her everything she could ever want to know about this cheeky little Spanish tooth mouse. From there, Annabel started wondering if other countries had different versions of the tooth fairy too, and so the message was spread around the world. Annabel sought the help of Albatross Airways to fly to all the corners. One would go north, one south, one east, and one west. Albatrosses, you see, can fly for many hours and many miles in one go, as much as ten thousand miles in a sea journey. They're the most useful birds in all the world when you need to get a message out to anyone and everyone. The four albatrosses listened carefully as Annabel explained the plan, and only when they were quite sure of the location of the tooth shaped mountain to which they must guide everyone did they head off into the skies.
