[00:01:29] Hello again and welcome to Abbe's Snoozy News, a little catch-up from Sleep HQ which is filled with sleepy updates, stories from around the Koala Kingdom and a few hints about what's coming up.

[00:01:55] So, get yourselves comfy, settle in and let's see what's been unfolding around the Koala Kingdom, shall we? Now, tonight's Snoozy News is dedicated to two very special new friends who've recently arrived in the Koala Kingdom, and I bet you know who they are. Of course, it's Flick and Jumble, our newest Koala Kingdom duo, and perhaps two of the most unusual treasure hunters you could ever hope to meet.

[00:02:24] This month, in dedication to our new treasure hunting companions, we are talking all about treasure. No, not only the kind hidden inside ancient chests or buried beneath golden desert sands, but things we also treasure, like treasured memories, treasured friendships, favourite songs, special gifts, and little moments we never, ever want to forget.

[00:02:49] And I can't think of anyone more perfect to explore that idea than Flick and Jumble. You see, Flick is a bold and adventurous little fennec fox with a huge imagination and an endless curiosity for the world around her. She's always dreaming about mysterious maps, ancient clues, and exciting discoveries waiting somewhere out there in the sandy lands of the middle of nowhere.

[00:03:15] Meanwhile, her best friend Jumble is a thoughtful donkey who prefers to slow down and think carefully before rushing into adventure. He's loyal, kind-hearted, and very often the one helping Flick when her excitement carries her just a little too far. Together, they make quite the perfect pair. And perhaps that's what makes them such wonderful treasure hunters.

[00:03:43] Because as their adventures unfold, Flick and Jumble begin to discover something rather important. That the greatest treasures aren't always glittering jewels or piles of gold, especially when all they ever seem to find are rusty bottle caps and bent old plates. Sometimes, the greatest treasures are the people we love, the memories we make, and the adventures we share together.

And you know, the more I thought about treasure this week, the more I realised how many treasured things already exist in our everyday lives. I'm wearing one of them right now. A friend recently sent me a beautiful stone.

[00:05:30] It's turquoise and it's got a hole through it, but the hole is a little bit wonky, so you can't really thread anything through it. Or so she told me, and then I got it, I managed to thread it perfectly. So it's perfectly imperfect, or imperfectly perfect. I'm not sure which way around it is, but I treasure it and I wear it, and I'm just so grateful to her for sending it to me.

[00:05:56] Other favourite things or other treasured items could be a favourite bedtime toy of yours, a song that always makes us smile, a funny memory with friends, a cosy bedtime routine, even a story we love listening to again and again. These things become treasures too. In fact, speaking of treasured books, I've got one on my shelf.

[00:06:22] It's called What A Mess, and it's by Frank Muir, and I was given it in 1985. Because I'm really that old. It's a beautiful story. It's absolutely in my top ten treasured things. And I wonder what your treasured things are. I bet you've got a treasured toy. One you could never imagine giving away. Perhaps it's a cuddly toy you've had since you were tiny,

[00:06:50] or a little figure that always sits beside your bed. Well, to celebrate the release of the brand new Toy Story 5 film, we're also getting ready to share a brand new bedtime adventure called Overnight at the Toy Store. Just imagine that for a moment. Rows and rows of toys sitting quietly after closing time. Soft glowing lights. And maybe, just maybe,

[00:07:19] a little night-time magic beginning after everyone has gone home. I wonder what treasures might be hidden there. And that's not all. Over in Pillowee Peaks, something very unusual has been happening. After 150 years of silence, the volcano has erupted. But don't worry, this isn't an ordinary volcano. Because in Hector and Sunny in the Sleepy Slime Volcano,

[00:07:48] the mountain bubbles over with the calmest and squishiest oozy slime imaginable. Now, knowing Hector and Sunny, I have a feeling they may think they've discovered the greatest treasure ever. Although I'm not entirely sure everyone else will agree once they're covered head to paw in slime. We also have another Hector and Sunny adventure arriving very soon too. This time, they're heading to the dog park.

[00:08:17] And here's the extra special part. Many of our premium listeners have sent in their own lovely pets to join the playdate. There are so many wonderful stories waiting for you this month. Treasure hunters, toy stores, sleepy slime volcanoes, dog park adventures, and magical concerts beneath the glowing koala moon. Now, as sleep drifts a little closer tonight,

[00:09:45] I'd like you to think about one treasure in your own life. Something small or something big. A memory, a person, a pet, a favourite song, or a feeling that makes you feel warm and safe inside. Hold it gently in your mind for a moment. Notice how your body feels when you think about something loving and peaceful. Maybe your breathing slows a little.

[00:10:15] Maybe your heart feels softer and calmer. This is your quiet mindfulness moment tonight. Simply resting with something beautiful. Now let's take a slow breath in and let it drift softly out. Feel your body becoming heavier against the bed.

[00:10:43] Your thoughts are floating more gently now. The koala kingdom is growing quiet. Flick and jumble are resting beneath the desert stars. The toy store shelves are still and peaceful. The slime volcano bubbles softly in the distance. And somewhere, in moonbeam heights,
