In tonightโs bedtime story for kids, we meet a little frog named Fritz, who one day decides he wants to befriend one of the elegant swans who glides across the lake near his pond. Some of the other frogs think a big graceful swan wouldn't notice little creatures like them. Let's hear how Fritz proves them wrong. Relax, get sleepy, and letโs begin!

Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome back to Cocos Sleep, a podcast of
00:00:14
Speaker 1: original children's bedtime stories and meditations designed to make bedtime
00:00:20
Speaker 1: a dream. Before we begin, I'd like to give a
00:00:23
Speaker 1: shout out for one of our biggest supporters, Spencer Bailey.
00:00:28
Speaker 1: Spencer is one of our grown up listeners at thirty
00:00:31
Speaker 1: years old, and it's such a treat to know that
00:00:33
Speaker 1: anyone can enjoy some Coco Sleep magic, no matter their age.
00:00:37
Speaker 1: I'd also like to say a big thank you to
00:00:39
Speaker 1: one of our younger Cocoa Club members, Eleanor, who sent
00:00:43
Speaker 1: us some stories she'd written herself. There were even drawings
00:00:46
Speaker 1: to thank you for sharing those with us, Eleanor, They're
00:00:50
Speaker 1: truly brilliant and to you, Spencer, I hope you enjoy
00:00:53
Speaker 1: this one Sweet Dreams in tonight's bedtime story. Then we're
00:00:58
Speaker 1: going to meet a teeny tiny f frog called Fritz.
00:01:02
Speaker 1: Fritz has set his sights high on making a new
00:01:05
Speaker 1: friendship that's quite out of the ordinary. Despite what anyone
00:01:09
Speaker 1: else says, Fritz is determined to prove that the amount
00:01:13
Speaker 1: of friendship and love you have to give is not
00:01:16
Speaker 1: limited by your size. M I agree. Now lie back,
00:01:22
Speaker 1: everybody and close your eyes, because I'm about to begin.
00:01:27
Speaker 1: The Tiny Frog with the Big Heart by Alicia Ainslie.
00:01:38
Speaker 1: Fritz the Frog lived on a lily pad that floated
00:01:41
Speaker 1: around a little pond in the middle of sleepy forest.
00:01:44
Speaker 1: Fritz and his fellow frogs lived there peacefully, minding their
00:01:48
Speaker 1: own business and admiring the larger animals that bathe in
00:01:52
Speaker 1: a nearby lake from afarm. Fritz the frog may have
00:01:56
Speaker 1: been a small amphibian, but he had a vibrant personality,
00:02:01
Speaker 1: ambitious dreams, and a big heart. Fritz was very friendly
00:02:08
Speaker 1: and longed to be everyone's companion that he met. The
00:02:12
Speaker 1: other frogs would often chuckle as they watched Fritz call
00:02:16
Speaker 1: out a chirpy good morning to every animal that walked
00:02:19
Speaker 1: by their pond, and they would roll their eyes every
00:02:24
Speaker 1: time he pulled out his quirky dance moves on his
00:02:27
Speaker 1: lily pad to entertain onlookers. Fritz was a showman at heart,
00:02:33
Speaker 1: and his goal was to brighten other people's days in
00:02:37
Speaker 1: whatever way he could. One day, whilst lazing around on
00:02:41
Speaker 1: his lily pad, Fritz the Frog observed the animals in
00:02:45
Speaker 1: the nearby lake from a farm. The otters splashed and
00:02:49
Speaker 1: sploshed as they trudged their way into the cool waters
00:02:52
Speaker 1: to bathe themselves, and a couple of beavers left ripples
00:02:57
Speaker 1: in the water's surface as they lapped up a drink
00:03:00
Speaker 1: with their flickering tongues. There were many different creatures enjoying
00:03:05
Speaker 1: the lake today, from ducks to herons, from fish to dragonflies.
00:03:11
Speaker 1: All of the animals created waves in the lake, both
00:03:15
Speaker 1: figuratively and literally. Each animal drew Fritz's attention in their
00:03:22
Speaker 1: own unique ways. However, there was one creature that caught
00:03:27
Speaker 1: Fritzy's eye that stood out from the crowd, Moving elegantly
00:03:33
Speaker 1: and effortlessly across the water, leaving not a trickle or
00:03:38
Speaker 1: a ripple in their wake. Was the swan. The swan
00:03:43
Speaker 1: glided across the center of the lake without saying a
00:03:48
Speaker 1: word or making a sound. She paid no attention to
00:03:53
Speaker 1: anyone else and kept to herself. None of the other
00:03:58
Speaker 1: animals appeared to notice the silent, graceful swan, but Fritz did.
00:04:05
Speaker 1: Fritz was absolutely mesmerized. He had never seen this one before,
00:04:13
Speaker 1: and he wanted to get to know her. Fritz hopped
00:04:17
Speaker 1: over to his friend Finch's lily pad and nudged him.
00:04:22
Speaker 1: Do you know who that's one is, Fritz asked Finch.
00:04:27
Speaker 1: Finch croaked in reply, I've never seen that one before.
00:04:33
Speaker 1: She must be new to the area. Fritz's eyes lit
00:04:38
Speaker 1: up with intrigue, and he said under his breath, I'm
00:04:43
Speaker 1: going to find out who she is. Finch giggled and sighed.
00:04:51
Speaker 1: Fritz was always chasing after large animals to try to
00:04:54
Speaker 1: get to know them. Why do you bother, Finch asked lightheartedly.
00:05:01
Speaker 1: Swan's a big and we're small. How could we be friends?
00:05:08
Speaker 1: But Fritz wouldn't listen, and he didn't mind much anyway.
00:05:13
Speaker 1: He was determined that one day he would find a
00:05:17
Speaker 1: big creature who wanted to be his friend, despite how
00:05:21
Speaker 1: small he was. Just as Fritz was about to move
00:05:26
Speaker 1: closer to the edge of his pond, he noticed that
00:05:30
Speaker 1: the swan had paddled her feet underwater and turned around
00:05:35
Speaker 1: to glide in the opposite direction. Fritz sighed at his
00:05:41
Speaker 1: missed opportunity. He hoped that the swan would return to
00:05:46
Speaker 1: this side of the lake soon so that he might
00:05:48
Speaker 1: be able to meet her and prove Finch wrong. Two
00:05:53
Speaker 1: days later, Fritz was hanging up his washing on the
00:05:57
Speaker 1: washing line he had pinned from reed to read when
00:06:00
Speaker 1: he heard his friend Finch called for him. Pist. Finch
00:06:07
Speaker 1: hissed in a hushed tone, Pist, Fritz, that swan you
00:06:14
Speaker 1: saw is back again. Fritz pegged up his last little
00:06:20
Speaker 1: shirt on the line and hopped over to where Finch
00:06:23
Speaker 1: was sitting. He was right, the same swan had returned
00:06:29
Speaker 1: to the lake again. Fritz was determined to find out
00:06:34
Speaker 1: who this swan was, so he boined his way from
00:06:38
Speaker 1: lillipad to bank and hopped over to the lakeside. The
00:06:43
Speaker 1: swan was blissfully floating around the middle of the lake,
00:06:47
Speaker 1: basking in the sun's warm rays. Fritz attempted to catch
00:06:53
Speaker 1: the swan's attention by calling out a hearty good afternoon,
00:07:00
Speaker 1: but the swan didn't acknowledge him. Perhaps she couldn't hear
00:07:05
Speaker 1: him from so far away. After all, Fritz was only small,
00:07:10
Speaker 1: and he only had a small croaky voice to match.
00:07:14
Speaker 1: Fritz moved to another edge of the lakes side and
00:07:17
Speaker 1: cawed out again to the new swan. Hello. He called
00:07:22
Speaker 1: out welcome to the lake. However, the swan still didn't
00:07:28
Speaker 1: notice him and continued to float around the lake in peace.
00:07:34
Speaker 1: Fritz would have to get much closer if he wanted
00:07:37
Speaker 1: her to hear him. Fritz hadn't been for a swim
00:07:42
Speaker 1: in the lake in a long time, but now seemed
00:07:45
Speaker 1: as good a time as ever. He dived into the
00:07:49
Speaker 1: crisp fresh water and started to swim towards the swan.
00:07:55
Speaker 1: He used his webbed feet and crooked hind legs to
00:07:59
Speaker 1: power push himself forward to get as close as he could.
00:08:06
Speaker 1: Once the swan's peddling feet were in sight, Fritz popped
00:08:12
Speaker 1: his head up out of the water and smiled hello there.
00:08:17
Speaker 1: He greeted her, welcome to the lake. My name is Fritz,
00:08:24
Speaker 1: and I live in the pond next door. What's your name?
00:08:29
Speaker 1: The swan was very surprised to see a teeny head
00:08:33
Speaker 1: suddenly poke up out of the water by her side,
00:08:37
Speaker 1: and she recoiled slightly in response, but when she saw
00:08:41
Speaker 1: the grin on Fritz's friendly face, she mellowed a little
00:08:46
Speaker 1: and smiled, my name is Penny. The swan replied, thank
00:08:55
Speaker 1: you for the warm welcome. Fritz's eyes grew wide and
00:09:01
Speaker 1: his grin grew even bigger. He couldn't wait to tell
00:09:07
Speaker 1: Finch that he had found out the swan's name. He
00:09:13
Speaker 1: continued to speak to Penny and told her that if
00:09:16
Speaker 1: she needed anything, she could always call on him for assistance.
00:09:21
Speaker 1: He liked to be a helpful neighbor to everyone he
00:09:25
Speaker 1: met on the lake. Penny appeared genuinely grateful for Fritz's
00:09:31
Speaker 1: offer of help, and she thanked him for his kind words.
00:09:37
Speaker 1: Just as Fritz was about to try to get to
00:09:40
Speaker 1: know her better, Penny the Swan's attention was caught by
00:09:45
Speaker 1: a flock of swans flying overhead. I must go, she gasped.
00:09:52
Speaker 1: I don't want to get left behind. Fritz felt a
00:09:58
Speaker 1: little bit disappointed. Was Penny moving to another lake already?
00:10:05
Speaker 1: Penny the Swan said good bye to Fritz, spread her
00:10:10
Speaker 1: massive white wings, and took off into the air to
00:10:15
Speaker 1: follow the flock of swans flying through the sky. Fritz
00:10:23
Speaker 1: watched from down below, now only a blip on Penny's radar.
00:10:30
Speaker 1: Maybe he wouldn't make a new friend in a large,
00:10:34
Speaker 1: graceful swan, after all, she seemed to have moved on
00:10:39
Speaker 1: somewhere else with her flock. He swam back to shore
00:10:45
Speaker 1: and hopped disappointedly, over to his pond, where Finch and
00:10:50
Speaker 1: some of their other friends were waiting. Finch stared at
00:10:55
Speaker 1: him expectantly. Did you speak to the one, then Finch inquired.
00:11:04
Speaker 1: Fritz beamed with delight. He had managed to find out
00:11:09
Speaker 1: the swan's name, and it was Penny. His fellow froggy
00:11:16
Speaker 1: friends were impressed that he had managed to speak to
00:11:20
Speaker 1: such a big animal, none of them had before. They
00:11:24
Speaker 1: started to ask him all sorts of questions, but he
00:11:29
Speaker 1: couldn't answer them. Just as he had started to get
00:11:33
Speaker 1: to know this one, she had flown away to join
00:11:36
Speaker 1: her flock. Finch and their froggy friends side feeling sorry
00:11:42
Speaker 1: for Fritz. Don't let it get to you too much, Fritz,
00:11:49
Speaker 1: One friend called Floss said soothingly, most animals prefer to
00:11:55
Speaker 1: stick to their own group and don't tend to branch
00:11:59
Speaker 1: out and make friends with others. But Fritz refused to
00:12:05
Speaker 1: believe this. Just because his peers hadn't befriended larger animals before,
00:12:13
Speaker 1: it didn't mean that he couldn't. Why couldn't a swan
00:12:18
Speaker 1: be friends with a frog? To Fritz's relief, Penny the
00:12:23
Speaker 1: swan had not left the lake for good. In fact,
00:12:28
Speaker 1: it turned out that she had only left to join
00:12:31
Speaker 1: her friends for lunch that day, and she promptly returned
00:12:35
Speaker 1: to the lake once she was ready to retire to bed.
00:12:41
Speaker 1: As the days passed by, Fritz the Frog grabbed every
00:12:46
Speaker 1: opportunity he had to speak to Penny the Swan. He
00:12:51
Speaker 1: wanted to prove everyone wrong and show that a tiny
00:12:55
Speaker 1: animal like himself could become friends with a big animal,
00:13:00
Speaker 1: a swan. It might seem strange to some, but friendship
00:13:05
Speaker 1: didn't care what you look like. At the end of
00:13:08
Speaker 1: the day. He bumped into Penny the Swan quite often.
00:13:14
Speaker 1: Every morning she took a swim around the lake, and
00:13:18
Speaker 1: if Fritz was up early enough, he would sing loudly
00:13:22
Speaker 1: to make her start to the day or the more enjoyable.
00:13:27
Speaker 1: Fritz had a rather marvelous singing voice, all be it
00:13:32
Speaker 1: a little croquy, and he especially liked to sing opera.
00:13:38
Speaker 1: As Pennies swam around the lake, Fritz would serenade her
00:13:43
Speaker 1: from his lily pad on the pond. His voice flowed
00:13:47
Speaker 1: out on the morning breeze, beautifully floating through the air
00:13:53
Speaker 1: until it reached Penny's ears. After just a few days,
00:13:59
Speaker 1: she knew the words to his morning songs off by heart,
00:14:04
Speaker 1: and she eventually started to sing along too. I love
00:14:11
Speaker 1: those songs you sing each morning, she once told Fritz.
00:14:18
Speaker 1: They make my mourning swim even better, you have a
00:14:24
Speaker 1: very good voice. Fritz was flattered that Penny enjoyed his singing.
00:14:31
Speaker 1: Nobody really told him that they liked his singing very much.
00:14:36
Speaker 1: The other frogs were used to hearing him humming and
00:14:40
Speaker 1: crooning around the pond, and the other animals on the
00:14:44
Speaker 1: lake rarely woke up early enough to enjoy his music anyway. Well,
00:14:51
Speaker 1: I enjoy it very much, Penny the Swan smiled, before
00:14:57
Speaker 1: swimming away to embark upon the re of her day.
00:15:02
Speaker 1: Whenever the moon was full in the sky and its silvery,
00:15:07
Speaker 1: mystical beams shone down onto the pond, the creatures of
00:15:12
Speaker 1: the water would celebrate and dance beneath the moon. The
00:15:18
Speaker 1: fish would perform a spectacular acrobatic show, the fireflies would
00:15:25
Speaker 1: hum and swirl in the air above the surface, and
00:15:29
Speaker 1: the frogs would dance on their lily pads with joy.
00:15:36
Speaker 1: Penny the Swan had never heard of a full moon
00:15:39
Speaker 1: ritual like this before, and she was impressed when Fritz
00:15:43
Speaker 1: told her all about it. He invited her to come
00:15:47
Speaker 1: and watch all of their performances on the next full moon. Maybe,
00:15:53
Speaker 1: now that she lived on the lake, she might want
00:15:56
Speaker 1: to join in and come up with some sort of
00:15:59
Speaker 1: celebrating we dance with the other animals too. Fritz told
00:16:04
Speaker 1: her that she was very welcome to join in with
00:16:07
Speaker 1: the frog's lily pad dance, although she might struggle to
00:16:12
Speaker 1: balance on one of the thin, delicate leaves due to
00:16:15
Speaker 1: her height. Penny giggled at the suggestion and decided she
00:16:21
Speaker 1: would simply watch and admire for now. Maybe one day
00:16:26
Speaker 1: she and her fellow swans could come up with some
00:16:29
Speaker 1: sort of dance to add to the full moon celebration.
00:16:34
Speaker 1: When the next full moon came around, Penny watched from
00:16:38
Speaker 1: the side of the lake as the other water creatures
00:16:41
Speaker 1: performed their amazing celebratory displays. Right on cue, Fritz danced
00:16:50
Speaker 1: on his lily pad even more energetically than usual, hoping
00:16:54
Speaker 1: that Penny would enjoy their performance. By the time he
00:16:58
Speaker 1: was finished, he was absolutely exhausted, but it was worth
00:17:03
Speaker 1: it to see Penny the swan so happy and enamored
00:17:07
Speaker 1: with the show they had performed. All of the other
00:17:11
Speaker 1: frogs thought that Fritz's attempts of friendship with the new
00:17:15
Speaker 1: swan on the lake were ill fated. They thought he
00:17:19
Speaker 1: was wasting his time, But Fritz had hope. Despite their
00:17:26
Speaker 1: size difference, Fritz and Penny got on well. They always
00:17:32
Speaker 1: greeted each other with a smile and checked in on
00:17:35
Speaker 1: how each other's day was going. They shared jokes and
00:17:39
Speaker 1: told each other about their lives, and they even started
00:17:44
Speaker 1: to take up hobbies together. Fritz went for a swim
00:17:48
Speaker 1: in the lake quite often now with his swan companion
00:17:52
Speaker 1: by his side, and every now and then Penny would
00:17:56
Speaker 1: venture over to the pond for a bit of peace
00:17:59
Speaker 1: and choiet. The lake could get quite busy with all
00:18:03
Speaker 1: the animals as the day drew on, and Penny preferred
00:18:07
Speaker 1: the calm, relaxing atmosphere around the pond. Fritz would read
00:18:14
Speaker 1: and recite to Penny from his favorite poetry books, and
00:18:18
Speaker 1: they even practiced writing their own poems together. They laughed
00:18:23
Speaker 1: at their bad attempts at rhyming and set each other
00:18:27
Speaker 1: tasks for what to write about. Sometimes they would write
00:18:32
Speaker 1: poems about lovely things like the flowers and the seasons,
00:18:36
Speaker 1: whilst other times they would have a bit of fun
00:18:40
Speaker 1: and write about bad hair days or silly socks that
00:18:43
Speaker 1: had come to life. Fritz and Penny had fun together.
00:18:50
Speaker 1: By all accounts, they had become good friends. The only
00:18:55
Speaker 1: thing was Penny had never referred to Fritz as her friend,
00:19:00
Speaker 1: so the other frogs didn't believe Fritz when he said
00:19:04
Speaker 1: that they were. One afternoon, as all the frogs conserved
00:19:10
Speaker 1: their energy for their night's, full moon danceth on, Fritz's friend, Finch,
00:19:16
Speaker 1: hopped over to him and asked if Penny would be
00:19:19
Speaker 1: joining them tonight. Fritz admitted that he didn't know. He
00:19:25
Speaker 1: hadn't seen Penny all day, but he was sure that
00:19:28
Speaker 1: she wouldn't miss it. The day turned into night and
00:19:34
Speaker 1: the full moon began to creep out from behind the
00:19:37
Speaker 1: clouds in the sky. The creatures of the pond and
00:19:42
Speaker 1: lake all prepared to perform as they always did beneath
00:19:47
Speaker 1: the shining moon. Fritz looked around, but he couldn't see
00:19:53
Speaker 1: Penny anywhere. I wonder if she's coming, he pondered, looking
00:20:02
Speaker 1: around hopefully. Just as the moon's beams trickled all the
00:20:09
Speaker 1: way down to the ground and landed on the surface
00:20:13
Speaker 1: of the water, Fritz spotted a long, white, feathered neck
00:20:19
Speaker 1: glide around the corner of the lake. Penny was here
00:20:25
Speaker 1: right on time. Fritz was about to wave her over
00:20:30
Speaker 1: when he noticed that she had brought lots of her
00:20:34
Speaker 1: swan friends with her. The tall, regal looking swans gathered
00:20:41
Speaker 1: in a circle around Penny and lowered their heads in preparation.
00:20:48
Speaker 1: As the fish in the lake began to swirl beneath
00:20:51
Speaker 1: the surface and started leaping up into the air performing
00:20:56
Speaker 1: their acrobatic show. The swans died into action too. Fritz
00:21:03
Speaker 1: watched with amazement as Penny and the other swans performed
00:21:09
Speaker 1: their own dance in the moonlight. They skated in and
00:21:14
Speaker 1: out of each other in winding formations, flapping their wings
00:21:20
Speaker 1: in unison, and bobbing their heads and twisting their necks
00:21:25
Speaker 1: to an imaginary beat. It was very impressive choreography, and
00:21:31
Speaker 1: the frogs watched on from afar with admiration. Fritz was
00:21:38
Speaker 1: glad to see Penny taking part in the full moon dancethon,
00:21:44
Speaker 1: and he was glad that she had enjoyed it so
00:21:46
Speaker 1: much last time that she had invited other animals to
00:21:50
Speaker 1: join her. But he felt a little bit disappointed. He
00:21:56
Speaker 1: wished that she had come to dance with him as
00:21:59
Speaker 1: her friend. Instead she was dancing with her swan friends.
00:22:07
Speaker 1: Maybe Finch and the other frogs were right, Maybe frogs
00:22:11
Speaker 1: couldn't really be friends. With swans after all. Fritz attempted
00:22:18
Speaker 1: to lift his mood by turning away from Penny and
00:22:22
Speaker 1: joining in the dance with his fellow frogs, but he
00:22:26
Speaker 1: couldn't help feeling a bit deflated. After a few minutes,
00:22:33
Speaker 1: Fritz heard a familiar voice behind him say good evening, Fritz.
00:22:41
Speaker 1: He turned around to see Penny standing on the edge
00:22:45
Speaker 1: of the pond. She continued, did you see the dance
00:22:51
Speaker 1: I created with the other swans. They loved it and
00:22:56
Speaker 1: now want to join in the party every full moon.
00:23:02
Speaker 1: Fritz was glad that they were all enjoying the night
00:23:06
Speaker 1: and turned to get back to his dancing, but Penny
00:23:10
Speaker 1: wasn't finished speaking to him. She asked, I don't want
00:23:17
Speaker 1: to interrupt your dance with all your frog friends, but
00:23:22
Speaker 1: if you'd like, I'd love for you to come and
00:23:27
Speaker 1: join in the dance with me and the other swans.
00:23:31
Speaker 1: I think you'll like what I choreographed. Fritz paused mid
00:23:39
Speaker 1: dance move. Penny wanted him to dance with her and
00:23:45
Speaker 1: the swans. This was great news. Fritz nodded his head
00:23:52
Speaker 1: eagerly and hopped over to Penny as she lowered her
00:23:56
Speaker 1: neck to the ground to allow him to climb aboard
00:23:59
Speaker 1: her back. Then she swept back out onto the lake
00:24:04
Speaker 1: and paddled towards her fellow swans. Fritz felt a bit
00:24:12
Speaker 1: nervous about meeting all the swans who were a hundred
00:24:16
Speaker 1: times his size, but he needn't have worried. Everyone was
00:24:21
Speaker 1: very polite and pleased to meet him. Hey, everyone, Penny
00:24:28
Speaker 1: captured their attention. Meet my good friend Fritz. He's the
00:24:35
Speaker 1: one who told me about this special full moon celebration
00:24:40
Speaker 1: on the lake, and he and his frog friends perform
00:24:44
Speaker 1: amazing dances too. Fritz's ears pricked at the special word
00:24:52
Speaker 1: that Penny had used to describe him. She had referred
00:24:58
Speaker 1: to him as her good friend. It was official. Fritz
00:25:05
Speaker 1: the frog had made a friend in the swan called Penny.
00:25:12
Speaker 1: He felt a hundred times bigger at that moment, and
00:25:16
Speaker 1: he beamed with pride and happiness. Fritz rode on Penny's
00:25:22
Speaker 1: back as the swans performed their choreographed dance yet again,
00:25:28
Speaker 1: and he spotted all of his froggy friends over in
00:25:31
Speaker 1: the pond watching them from afar with their mouths gaping open.
00:25:38
Speaker 1: It appeared that frogs and swans could be friends after all.
00:25:47
Speaker 1: Fritz and Penny danced and giggled on the lake, and
00:25:51
Speaker 1: she proudly introduced him to all of her fellow swans.
00:25:58
Speaker 1: By the end of the night, Fritz felt as though
00:26:02
Speaker 1: he had made several new friends within the flock of swans.
00:26:09
Speaker 1: Seeing how happy everyone was on the lake, Penny turned
00:26:14
Speaker 1: to Fritz and whispered, thank you for welcoming me to
00:26:20
Speaker 1: the lake and helping me settle in. You have been
00:26:28
Speaker 1: a very good friend to me. Fritz smiled and assured
00:26:36
Speaker 1: her he would do the same for anyone. He wanted
00:26:41
Speaker 1: everyone to feel welcome, and he believed that you could
00:26:46
Speaker 1: never have too many friends. Fritz may have only been
00:26:53
Speaker 1: a tiny frog, but he certainly had a big heart.
00:27:01
Speaker 1: As the swans danced gracefully beneath the moon, the frogs
00:27:07
Speaker 1: bopped and gibed on their lily pads. Every one was
00:27:12
Speaker 1: in wonderfully high spirits, and by the end of the
00:27:17
Speaker 1: night they had all danced until they dropped. The swans
00:27:25
Speaker 1: and the frogs, the fish, and the fireflies all laid
00:27:31
Speaker 1: down for a welcome snooze in the fading moonlight. They
00:27:38
Speaker 1: all slept peacefully and soundly. However, nobody slept better than
00:27:47
Speaker 1: the little frog Fritz, who was so happy and content
00:27:53
Speaker 1: that he drifted off to the sweetest of dreams instantly
