Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome back to Coco Sleep, a podcast of

00:00:14

Speaker 1: original children's bedtime stories and meditations designed to make bedtime

00:00:20

Speaker 1: a dream. Before we begin, Hello, Kaya and Leo and

00:00:26

Speaker 1: ever In Finn. Welcome to the Cocoa Club. Coco and

00:00:30

Speaker 1: I are so pleased to have you. Tonight's Bedtime Story

00:00:35

Speaker 1: is a magical time traveling, secret sharing adventure. We're about

00:00:40

Speaker 1: to learn the origins of Sleepy Forest, all thanks to

00:00:44

Speaker 1: a curious hamster called Wimbley. Wimbley's wonders about the woods

00:00:50

Speaker 1: in its past have caused some magic to stir, and

00:00:53

Speaker 1: soon he will be zooming back to the past to

00:00:56

Speaker 1: see exactly how the forest was formed in all its

00:01:01

Speaker 1: sleepy magic dusted glory. That's right, it's going to be

00:01:07

Speaker 1: a good one. The idea for Wimbley, the time traveling hamster,

00:01:11

Speaker 1: came from a very clever reviewer who didn't leave their name,

00:01:15

Speaker 1: only mushroom, koala and toad emojis. Maybe it was Cocoa

00:01:20

Speaker 1: in disguise. Thank you so much for the brilliant idea.

00:01:24

Speaker 1: Whoever you are, I hope you enjoy it. Now. Cozy

00:01:28

Speaker 1: on down in your beds, cuddle up in your blanket,

00:01:32

Speaker 1: and let her smile gently, settle on your face, ready

00:01:36

Speaker 1: for tonight's adventure. This is Wimby and the Secret of

00:01:42

Speaker 1: Sleepy Forest by Gillian Rogerson. Wimbley was a little hamster

00:01:55

Speaker 1: who lived in Sleepy Forest with his family and friends.

00:01:59

Speaker 1: Wimbley loved the forest very much and often spent many

00:02:02

Speaker 1: peaceful hours strolling through the trees or walking at the

00:02:06

Speaker 1: side of the river. His very favorite place was beneath

00:02:10

Speaker 1: an old oak tree on the top of a hill.

00:02:14

Speaker 1: The branches of the tree were huge and reached out

00:02:17

Speaker 1: in all directions, as though the tree was having a

00:02:21

Speaker 1: good long stretch. When Wimbley was out on one of

00:02:26

Speaker 1: his strolls, he would always head towards the oak tree

00:02:30

Speaker 1: and settle down on the soft, fragrant grass beneath its branches.

00:02:35

Speaker 1: Wimbley felt that there was something different about the oak tree,

00:02:40

Speaker 1: as if it was a little bit magical somehow. Whenever

00:02:44

Speaker 1: he spent any time there, he always felt much calmer

00:02:48

Speaker 1: and more peaceful afterwards. One day, when Wimbley was out

00:02:56

Speaker 1: on one of his leisurely walks, he met his friend Coco,

00:03:00

Speaker 1: who was also out for a walk. The two friends

00:03:04

Speaker 1: said hello to each other and decided to walk together

00:03:07

Speaker 1: for a while. Wimbley said to Coco, don't you think

00:03:13

Speaker 1: the forest looks extra special today, as if there is

00:03:17

Speaker 1: magic in the air. Coco nodded, he smiled, and told

00:03:23

Speaker 1: his hamster friend there was always magic in the air

00:03:27

Speaker 1: in sleepy forest. Wimbley asked Coco if he'd been on

00:03:32

Speaker 1: any exciting adventures recently. Coco often went on adventures, and

00:03:39

Speaker 1: some of them were magical ones. Coco said he hadn't

00:03:45

Speaker 1: been on any recently, but it seemed there was always

00:03:48

Speaker 1: an adventure waiting for him in the forest. Wimbley sighed

00:03:53

Speaker 1: happily and said, I love hearing about your adventures. I

00:03:59

Speaker 1: wish I could go on an adventure one day. Coco

00:04:05

Speaker 1: gave the little hamster a kind look and said, I've

00:04:10

Speaker 1: got a feeling you might go on a magical adventure

00:04:14

Speaker 1: this very day, and when you do, I want to

00:04:18

Speaker 1: hear all about it later, every single detail. Do you

00:04:26

Speaker 1: really think I'll have an adventure, Coco, and it will

00:04:31

Speaker 1: be a magical one, Wimbley asked, with hope in his eyes.

00:04:38

Speaker 1: Coco said, yes, I do. If you can feel magic

00:04:44

Speaker 1: in the air, then a special adventure must be on

00:04:48

Speaker 1: its way to you. Wimbley's eyes lit up in glee.

00:04:54

Speaker 1: He looked to his left and then to his right.

00:04:59

Speaker 1: Here asked Coco where the adventure might be. Coco replied, sometimes,

00:05:07

Speaker 1: you don't need to search for the adventure because it

00:05:11

Speaker 1: will find you. Just carry on with your walk as normal,

00:05:17

Speaker 1: and if you feel the instinct to go down a

00:05:19

Speaker 1: different path, then go down that path and see what happens.

00:05:26

Speaker 1: Wimbley nodded. He wasn't entirely convinced that walking down a

00:05:32

Speaker 1: different path would lead to anything, but Coco was the

00:05:36

Speaker 1: expert on adventures, and Wimbley trusted his advice. The two

00:05:42

Speaker 1: friends continued walking through the sunny forest. They chatted about

00:05:48

Speaker 1: meeting up with their other friends the following day and

00:05:52

Speaker 1: maybe playing some of their favorite games in the meadow.

00:05:58

Speaker 1: After a while, Coco said, I have to go home now,

00:06:03

Speaker 1: but I'll meet you later and you can tell me

00:06:07

Speaker 1: about your magical adventure. Wimbley grinned at his friend and

00:06:12

Speaker 1: said goodbye. The little hamster really hoped he would have

00:06:16

Speaker 1: a story to tell Cocoa later. Wimbley continued walking through

00:06:23

Speaker 1: the beautiful forest. He watched the sunlight filtering down through

00:06:28

Speaker 1: the branches of trees, and saw shadows dancing across his path.

00:06:34

Speaker 1: He listened to the bumblebees flying from one flower to

00:06:38

Speaker 1: the other, and the birds singing softly from the trees.

00:06:44

Speaker 1: He felt the warmth of the sun on his head

00:06:48

Speaker 1: and the softness of the grass beneath his feet. Wimbley

00:06:54

Speaker 1: was so lost in the beauty of the forest that

00:06:58

Speaker 1: he completely forgot about a possible adventure, and he carried

00:07:02

Speaker 1: on walking along one of his usual routes. After a while,

00:07:08

Speaker 1: he walked towards the old oak tree and settled down

00:07:12

Speaker 1: under its wide branches. Wimbley smiled as he gazed out

00:07:18

Speaker 1: at the forest. Questions about sleepy forest began to float

00:07:25

Speaker 1: softly into his mind. He wondered how old it was.

00:07:31

Speaker 1: Had the trees always been there, or had someone planted them?

00:07:36

Speaker 1: Or had the seeds been carried on the wind from

00:07:39

Speaker 1: another forest. He rested back against the trunk of the

00:07:44

Speaker 1: tree and said out loud, I wonder how old you are,

00:07:51

Speaker 1: mister oak tree. Are you a magic tree? I think

00:07:57

Speaker 1: you must be, because I always feel better when I've

00:08:01

Speaker 1: been sitting here for a while. Do you know how

00:08:06

Speaker 1: old the forest is and where the trees came from?

00:08:11

Speaker 1: Wimbley chuckled to himself. It wasn't the first time he

00:08:15

Speaker 1: talked to the tree. He stretched his arms out and

00:08:21

Speaker 1: wriggled his paws in the warm grass at his side.

00:08:26

Speaker 1: Just a minute. What was that? His right paw aligned

00:08:32

Speaker 1: on something small and wooden. What was it? Wimbley picked

00:08:38

Speaker 1: it up. It was a small box that appeared to

00:08:42

Speaker 1: be made out of bamboo. Wimbley turned it around in

00:08:47

Speaker 1: his paws. He couldn't find a lid on it. He

00:08:50

Speaker 1: gave it a little shake and heard a light tinkling

00:08:54

Speaker 1: sound coming from inside it. Wimbley stared at the strain box.

00:09:02

Speaker 1: A sudden thought came to him, and he instinctively knew

00:09:07

Speaker 1: that he was supposed to open it. But how would

00:09:11

Speaker 1: he do that? He carefully ran his paws around the

00:09:17

Speaker 1: smooth surface of the box. Aha, there was a slightly

00:09:23

Speaker 1: raised area on one of the corners. Wimbley pressed it.

00:09:30

Speaker 1: The box gently rose from his paws and hovered in

00:09:34

Speaker 1: front of him. Wimbley sat up straighter and looked at

00:09:39

Speaker 1: the box in astonishment. A hidden lid on the top

00:09:45

Speaker 1: of the box opened, and a cloud of sparkling gold

00:09:50

Speaker 1: and silver mist rose from within it. The mist floated

00:09:57

Speaker 1: over to Wimbley and swirled around and the old oak

00:10:01

Speaker 1: tree until it covered them both. The mist felt soft

00:10:08

Speaker 1: and warm on Wimbley's fur, like a hug. The mist

00:10:16

Speaker 1: slowly melted, and when Wimbley looked at the forest again,

00:10:22

Speaker 1: he was most surprised to see that the trees had

00:10:25

Speaker 1: gone and all he could see was a vast expanse

00:10:30

Speaker 1: of emerald green grass all around him. He looked behind

00:10:37

Speaker 1: him and was relieved to see the oak tree was

00:10:40

Speaker 1: still there, although after a closer inspection he noticed it

00:10:46

Speaker 1: wasn't as big as before and its branches didn't reach

00:10:50

Speaker 1: out as much. Wimbley looked back at the huge area

00:10:58

Speaker 1: of grass in front of him and uttered, where did

00:11:02

Speaker 1: sleepy forest go? A friendly voice at his side said,

00:11:10

Speaker 1: the forest hasn't gone anywhere, but you have. Wimbley looked

00:11:16

Speaker 1: at who had spoken. A small green winged fairy hovered

00:11:21

Speaker 1: in the air. She was wearing a green velvet jacket

00:11:26

Speaker 1: over a pair of green trousers and had sparkling emerald

00:11:31

Speaker 1: boots on her feet. On her jacket were images of

00:11:35

Speaker 1: golden clock faces, each one set to a different time.

00:11:41

Speaker 1: There was a golden watch on her wrist that softly ticked.

00:11:47

Speaker 1: Wimbley had seen fairies in the forest before, so he

00:11:51

Speaker 1: wasn't too surprised to see one now, although he had

00:11:57

Speaker 1: never seen the green fairy with the watch before. The

00:12:03

Speaker 1: fairy spoke again, Hello, I hope I didn't startle you.

00:12:10

Speaker 1: My name is Ebony, and I was asked to come

00:12:13

Speaker 1: here and talk to a hamster called Wimbley. Is that you?

00:12:21

Speaker 1: Wimbley nodded. He had questions for the fairy, but he

00:12:26

Speaker 1: was suddenly overcome with shyness. He looked down at the grass.

00:12:33

Speaker 1: Ebony fluttered closer to him and said, I can tell

00:12:39

Speaker 1: by your expression that you'd like to know who asked

00:12:43

Speaker 1: me to come here and why. Wimbley looked up and

00:12:49

Speaker 1: smiled bashfully. Yes. Please. The fairy settled down on the

00:12:56

Speaker 1: warm grass next to Wimbley. Ebony began. First of all,

00:13:04

Speaker 1: it was this lovely oak tree who asked me to

00:13:07

Speaker 1: come here. It heard your questions about the forest and

00:13:13

Speaker 1: knew I would be the perfect one to answer them.

00:13:17

Speaker 1: The tree summoned me by placing a message inside that

00:13:21

Speaker 1: box you opened. When you opened the box and released

00:13:26

Speaker 1: the magical mist, a silent message was sent to me.

00:13:33

Speaker 1: Wimbley looked behind him at the tree and said, wow,

00:13:40

Speaker 1: does that mean this oak tree is magical? Oh? Yes,

00:13:47

Speaker 1: Ebney replied with a smile. Wimbley grinned I knew it.

00:13:55

Speaker 1: Ebony told Wimbley she was a time fairy who could

00:13:59

Speaker 1: travel through time to the future and to the past,

00:14:03

Speaker 1: and because Wimbley had wanted to know more about the forest,

00:14:08

Speaker 1: she had turned back time to when the oak tree

00:14:12

Speaker 1: was much younger and when Sleepy Forest hadn't yet been created.

00:14:19

Speaker 1: Wimbley's little face wrinkled up in confusion. Ebony put her

00:14:26

Speaker 1: little hand on his arm and said, it will be

00:14:30

Speaker 1: easier to show you what happened, and for that we

00:14:34

Speaker 1: will need to fly. Is it okay if I use

00:14:38

Speaker 1: my magic on you so that you can fly? Wimbley nodded,

00:14:44

Speaker 1: Oh yes, yes, please. My friend Cocoa, he's a koala.

00:14:50

Speaker 1: He magically got wings a few months ago and he

00:14:54

Speaker 1: flew all over the forest with some new friends. He

00:14:58

Speaker 1: loved flying and said it was very easy. Ebony said, yes,

00:15:05

Speaker 1: flying was easy and a lot of fun. She reached

00:15:10

Speaker 1: into a pocket on her jacket and took out a

00:15:14

Speaker 1: handful of glittering dust. She sprinkled it over wimbly and

00:15:20

Speaker 1: a pair of shimmering green wings appeared on his back.

00:15:25

Speaker 1: Wimbly flapped them. He broke into a huge smile and

00:15:31

Speaker 1: said he couldn't wait to dry them out. Ebony and

00:15:36

Speaker 1: Wimbley stood up. Ebony gave the hamster a quick flying lesson,

00:15:43

Speaker 1: and then they flew upwards and over the huge area

00:15:47

Speaker 1: of grass. Wimbly looked down at where Sleepy forests should be.

00:15:54

Speaker 1: Even though it wasn't there, he could clearly see it

00:15:58

Speaker 1: in his imagination. He looked to the left. Something else

00:16:04

Speaker 1: had disappeared too, he said, Ebony, Sleepy River has also gone.

00:16:13

Speaker 1: He looked in another direction, and so have the mountains.

00:16:20

Speaker 1: Ebony replied that's because they haven't been created yet, but

00:16:27

Speaker 1: they soon will be. The little Fairy looked down at

00:16:32

Speaker 1: the oak tree and said, let me start at the

00:16:37

Speaker 1: very beginning, and I'll tell you how your oak tree

00:16:41

Speaker 1: became so magical. We need to go back a bit

00:16:47

Speaker 1: further in time so that I can show you what happened.

00:16:52

Speaker 1: Are you okay with that? Wimbley immediately said yes, and

00:16:58

Speaker 1: then added to thank you you. The fairy moved the

00:17:05

Speaker 1: hands on her watch and told Wimbley she was setting

00:17:09

Speaker 1: the time for two hundred years before, when the oak

00:17:14

Speaker 1: tree was a little acorn. Once she'd move the hands

00:17:19

Speaker 1: on the watch, Ebony told Wimbley to look down at

00:17:24

Speaker 1: the tree. Wimbley saw it getting smaller and smaller, until

00:17:30

Speaker 1: it was an acorn nestling in the grass. Ebene then

00:17:37

Speaker 1: asked Wimbley to look at the sky. With his new

00:17:42

Speaker 1: wings flapping slowly on his back, Wimbley looked upwards and

00:17:48

Speaker 1: watched the sky as it turned from day and to night.

00:17:53

Speaker 1: A full moon appeared, but it wasn't like any moon

00:17:57

Speaker 1: he'd seen before. It was there's a delicate shade of purple,

00:18:02

Speaker 1: and a circle of gold and silver stars swirled around it.

00:18:09

Speaker 1: Ebony said it was a magical sleepy moon and it

00:18:14

Speaker 1: only appeared once every five thousand years. She smiled at

00:18:20

Speaker 1: Wimbly and continued talking. Those gold and silver stars have

00:18:28

Speaker 1: now filled the moon with sleep magic, and if you

00:18:32

Speaker 1: look closer, you will see moonbeams appearing from the center

00:18:37

Speaker 1: of it. Wimbly peered closer at the beautiful moon. He

00:18:45

Speaker 1: saw three bright moonbeams shining out from the middle of it.

00:18:51

Speaker 1: The moonbeams flowed down to the grass and covered the

00:18:55

Speaker 1: acorn in their magical glow. Wimbley asked Ebony what was

00:19:04

Speaker 1: happening to the acorn. She said, the sleep magic has

00:19:10

Speaker 1: now gone into the acorn. Watch what happens next. Wimbley

00:19:18

Speaker 1: and the fairy continued looking at the acorn. The moonbeams

00:19:24

Speaker 1: slowly melted away from it like mist. The little acorn

00:19:31

Speaker 1: glowed brightly like a star, and then sunk into the ground.

00:19:39

Speaker 1: Seconds later, a strong green shoot appeared. Ebony slowly moved

00:19:47

Speaker 1: the hands on her watch, and the shoot grew bigger

00:19:51

Speaker 1: and bigger, and very soon it became the unmistakable shape

00:19:57

Speaker 1: of Wimbley's beloved oak tree. A peculiar noise came from

00:20:03

Speaker 1: the tree. It sounded like gentle snores and rustling leaves

00:20:10

Speaker 1: all mixed up together. Wimbley asked Ebony where the noise

00:20:18

Speaker 1: was coming from. Ebony smiled and said it was the

00:20:24

Speaker 1: oak tree. It loved sleeping so very much and spent

00:20:31

Speaker 1: a lot of time in rest for slumber, especially in

00:20:35

Speaker 1: the winter. Ebony explained, not long after the oak tree

00:20:43

Speaker 1: grew to this size, it sent a message on the

00:20:46

Speaker 1: wind to ask someone to create a magical forest where

00:20:52

Speaker 1: everyone loved sleeping as much as the oak tree did.

00:20:58

Speaker 1: Some forest fairies the message and came here immediately, and

00:21:04

Speaker 1: a short while later, Sleepy Forest was created. Wimbley didn't

00:21:13

Speaker 1: know what to say. He was utterly amazed by everything

00:21:19

Speaker 1: he'd seen and heard. Little did he know that he

00:21:25

Speaker 1: was about to see something even more amazing. Ebany moved

00:21:32

Speaker 1: the hands on her watch again and told Wimbley to

00:21:38

Speaker 1: look to his left. Wimbley turned his head and saw

00:21:45

Speaker 1: a couple of fairies flying towards him. They looked very

00:21:50

Speaker 1: similar to Ebonie and were wearing green velvet jackets, green trousers,

00:21:57

Speaker 1: and sparkling emerald boots, but instead of having pictures of

00:22:03

Speaker 1: clock faces on their jackets, they had images of trees, rivers,

00:22:09

Speaker 1: and mountains on them. Ebony told Wimbley he was about

00:22:16

Speaker 1: to meet the forest fairies who had created Sleepy Forest.

00:22:21

Speaker 1: She said, shall I ask if you can help them?

00:22:29

Speaker 1: Wimbley's eyes grew wider and wider. His adventure was getting

00:22:36

Speaker 1: more magical by the second. He told Ebone he would

00:22:41

Speaker 1: absolutely love to help them. The forest fairies flew over

00:22:47

Speaker 1: to Ebony and Wimbley. They knew Ebony because she had

00:22:52

Speaker 1: visited them in the past and the future many times before.

00:22:58

Speaker 1: The forest fairies, said her to Wimbley. They introduced themselves

00:23:03

Speaker 1: as Maple and Ashley. Wimbley said hello back and tried

00:23:11

Speaker 1: to explain that he had come from the future and

00:23:15

Speaker 1: that he lived in the Sleepy Forest, which was full

00:23:18

Speaker 1: of trees and where there was a wonderful river and

00:23:22

Speaker 1: some beautiful mountains that had snow on the top. He

00:23:27

Speaker 1: stopped talking because he didn't think he was making any

00:23:30

Speaker 1: sense at all. But the forest fairies thought he was

00:23:35

Speaker 1: making perfect sense. And when Ebony asked Maple and Ashley

00:23:40

Speaker 1: if Wimbley could help them create Sleepy Forest from the

00:23:44

Speaker 1: very beginning, they said yes straightway. Maple reached into his

00:23:53

Speaker 1: pocket and pulled out a roll of blue ribbon. He

00:23:58

Speaker 1: said to Wimbley, I'm going to make Sleepy River out

00:24:05

Speaker 1: of this ribbon. He gave the ground below them a

00:24:11

Speaker 1: thoughtful look. Hmm, I think that area over there would

00:24:19

Speaker 1: be perfect for a river. What do you think, wimbley?

00:24:25

Speaker 1: Wimbley smiled. He said, it's the perfect place, and that's

00:24:32

Speaker 1: where the river is in my sleepy Forest. My friends

00:24:36

Speaker 1: and I sit sometimes on a bridge that crosses the river,

00:24:41

Speaker 1: and we dropped twigs into the water and watched them

00:24:45

Speaker 1: drift downstream. It's very relaxing. Maple smiled softly and said

00:24:54

Speaker 1: he was very glad to hear that. He handed the

00:24:58

Speaker 1: ribbon to Wimbley and asked him to lightly throw it

00:25:03

Speaker 1: into the air and then the ribbon would find its

00:25:07

Speaker 1: way to the ground. Wimbley took the ribbon with a

00:25:12

Speaker 1: nervous smile. He really hoped he wouldn't put Sleepy River

00:25:18

Speaker 1: in the wrong place. He closed his eyes and imagine

00:25:24

Speaker 1: the beautiful river flowing along through the forest. He knew

00:25:30

Speaker 1: every bend of it and the different sounds it made

00:25:35

Speaker 1: as it flowed ever onwards. Wimbley lightly cast the blue

00:25:42

Speaker 1: ribbon into the air. He opened his eyes and watched

00:25:48

Speaker 1: it fluttering and dancing on the wind as it drifted

00:25:52

Speaker 1: to the ground. It landed on the grass and then

00:25:58

Speaker 1: started to grow bigger and bigger, until it meandered across

00:26:05

Speaker 1: the hole of the grassy area and beyond. Twinkling blue

00:26:11

Speaker 1: lights covered the ribbon and it magically turned into Sleepy River.

00:26:19

Speaker 1: A lovely sound of the flowing water drifted up to

00:26:24

Speaker 1: the flying hamster and made him smile. Excellent job, Maple said.

00:26:35

Speaker 1: Ashley asked Wimbley for some help. Next and said she

00:26:40

Speaker 1: was going to make mountains through magical pebbles. She took

00:26:46

Speaker 1: some glittering pebbles from her pocket and handed them to Wimbley.

00:26:53

Speaker 1: Ashley asked the hamster where the mountain should go. Whim

00:27:00

Speaker 1: had gazed at the mountains of Sleepy Forest many times,

00:27:05

Speaker 1: and he knew the precise place to put the magical pebbles.

00:27:11

Speaker 1: Once again, Wimbley closed his eyes and recalled the snow

00:27:17

Speaker 1: capped mountains in all their glory. He cast the pebbles

00:27:23

Speaker 1: into the air and opened his eyes. The pebbles flew

00:27:30

Speaker 1: towards the edge of the grassy land and fell softly downwards.

00:27:37

Speaker 1: Within seconds, the pebbles grew into majestic mountains, topped in

00:27:44

Speaker 1: glittering snow. The sight of them filled Wimbley's heart with joy.

00:27:53

Speaker 1: The forest fairies told Wimbley it was time for the

00:27:57

Speaker 1: final part of their plan, creating the special Sleepy trees

00:28:05

Speaker 1: that filled the forest. Maple and Ashley reached into their

00:28:12

Speaker 1: pockets and pulled out small green pouches. They explained that

00:28:19

Speaker 1: the pouches were full of magical seeds and asked Wimbley

00:28:25

Speaker 1: to help scatter them on the wind. The forest fairies

00:28:31

Speaker 1: filled Wimbley's paws with magical seeds and told him to

00:28:37

Speaker 1: fly over the grassy area with them. They said he

00:28:43

Speaker 1: should let the seeds trickle gently through his pores, and

00:28:48

Speaker 1: the wind would catch them and take them to the ground.

00:28:53

Speaker 1: Wimbley's heart overflowed with gratitude and happiness a being asked.

00:29:00

Speaker 1: Asked to do such an important job, He flew with

00:29:05

Speaker 1: the fairies across the green land and thought about the

00:29:10

Speaker 1: beautiful trees in Sleepy Forest. He let the magical seeds

00:29:17

Speaker 1: trickle gently from his paws. The wind caught the seeds

00:29:24

Speaker 1: and carried them far and wide. Within minutes, the trees

00:29:31

Speaker 1: began to grow. More and more of them appeared, until

00:29:36

Speaker 1: the ground below Wimbly looked so familiar that Wimbley felt

00:29:42

Speaker 1: all warm and happy inside. He loved Sleepy Forest even

00:29:49

Speaker 1: more than ever. The forest fairies said they had finished

00:29:56

Speaker 1: their job and would let the forest grow on it

00:30:00

Speaker 1: his own from now on. They thanked Wimbley for his

00:30:04

Speaker 1: help and flew away. Ebone told Wimbley they had one

00:30:11

Speaker 1: more thing to do before she returned them to the

00:30:15

Speaker 1: future time where Wimbley lived. She took his paw in

00:30:20

Speaker 1: her hand, and they flew over to the oak tree.

00:30:26

Speaker 1: Ebony said to Wimbley, we need animals to fill this forest.

00:30:34

Speaker 1: Animals who love sleeping. Wimbley said, should they love bedtime

00:30:43

Speaker 1: stories too, and warm bubble bars and snuggly soft pajamas

00:30:50

Speaker 1: and comfy beds. He smiled and said he loved all

00:30:56

Speaker 1: of those things, and his friends did too. Ebeny smiled

00:31:02

Speaker 1: at the thoughtful hamster and told him to ask his

00:31:06

Speaker 1: friend the oak tree to send a message on the

00:31:10

Speaker 1: wind to animals who lived in far away places and

00:31:16

Speaker 1: to invite them to a magical place called Sleepy Forest.

00:31:23

Speaker 1: Is that all I have to do, Wimbley asked. Ebany

00:31:29

Speaker 1: nodded and said the sleep magic inside the tree would

00:31:35

Speaker 1: be carried on the wind to those animals who needed

00:31:39

Speaker 1: to hear it. Wimbley thought about his family, friends and neighbors.

00:31:48

Speaker 1: He moved closer to the tree and gave it a

00:31:52

Speaker 1: list of every single animal who lived in the forest.

00:32:00

Speaker 1: Wimble placed his paw on the trunk of the tree

00:32:03

Speaker 1: and added, if I've forgotten anyone, could you just invite

00:32:09

Speaker 1: every animal who lives on the planet. Please. The tree

00:32:14

Speaker 1: rustled its leaves as though saying yes to the hamster.

00:32:20

Speaker 1: Wimbley looked at Ebony and said, did it work? Did

00:32:27

Speaker 1: I say the right thing? Ebeny replied, you certainly did.

00:32:35

Speaker 1: I'll move the time slowly forward and you'll see the

00:32:40

Speaker 1: first animals starting to appear, and after that, I'll take

00:32:46

Speaker 1: you back to your time. Wimbley stayed at the side

00:32:52

Speaker 1: of Ebony as the forest changed below them. The oak

00:32:58

Speaker 1: tree grew bigger, and so did the other trees. The

00:33:03

Speaker 1: first families began to arrive, and they looked for places

00:33:08

Speaker 1: to set up their homes in the magical forest. Wimbley

00:33:13

Speaker 1: smiled when he saw a family of hamsters walking through

00:33:18

Speaker 1: the forest with a family of koalas they watched the

00:33:24

Speaker 1: forest for a while longer, and then Ebone brought Wimbley

00:33:30

Speaker 1: back to his time. They flew down through the familiar

00:33:36

Speaker 1: forest and landed next to the old oak tree, which

00:33:41

Speaker 1: was just how Wimbley had left it, but it looked

00:33:46

Speaker 1: even more magical to him now. Ebene's magic faded from

00:33:53

Speaker 1: Wimbley's wings and they disappeared. The time fair and the

00:34:01

Speaker 1: adventurous hamster shared a hug and said goodbye to each other.

00:34:08

Speaker 1: Twimbly waved to Ebony as she flew away. The tired

00:34:14

Speaker 1: hamster sat down in his favorite place beneath the old

00:34:20

Speaker 1: oak tree and took in the beauty of the forest

00:34:25

Speaker 1: with a new appreciation of it. A few minutes later,

00:34:32

Speaker 1: Coco strolled towards Wimbley and sat at his side. Coco

00:34:40

Speaker 1: looked at his friend and said, I can tell from

00:34:45

Speaker 1: your twinkling eyes that you've been on a wonderful adventure.

00:34:52

Speaker 1: Tell me everything. Wimbley started to tell Coco about his

00:34:59

Speaker 1: magical journey. His voice was full of warmth and he

00:35:05

Speaker 1: was an excellent storyteller. Before long, Wimbley started to yawn.

00:35:13

Speaker 1: He said he was very tired and would Coco mind

00:35:18

Speaker 1: if he fell asleep for a while. Coco yawned too

00:35:24

Speaker 1: and said he didn't mind because he was tired too

00:35:29

Speaker 1: and also needed asleep. The two friends lay down on

00:35:38

Speaker 1: the soft grass beneath the enchanted oak tree. The wind

00:35:46

Speaker 1: whispered gently through the trees, and sleepy forest began to

00:35:52

Speaker 1: work its magic on the tired Koala and the time

00:35:58

Speaker 1: traveling ham stuff, and soon Cocoa and Wimbley drifted into

00:36:08

Speaker 1: a de relaxing sleep.
